  1. All of these allegations of Wade Phillips leaving are completely false.... He just recieved a vote of confidence from Jones... http://bangcartoon.com/2007/pacmandallas.htm
  2. Correct me if i'm wrong but didn't D. Roy of the sabres predict the same thing mid season this past year... And didn't lindy Ruff back him... Oh yea and didn't they miss the playoffs? Ok, i love whitner just as much as the next guy, he is my fav bill. but come on man.
  3. Hey thanks for that link, good find.. I really liked his response to the Toronto issue at the end of the interview. On a business stand point it makes as much sense as moving training camp to rochester(who happens to fill half the stadium on sundays).
  4. I can see that, Garrard does scare me with his feet too. They just don't have the game breaking reciever like Braylon Edwards.
  5. Fantasy rankings per ESPN http://sports.espn.go.com/fantasy/football...nfl2k8dkqbranks SEA: Hasselback(7), Julius Jones(29), Bobby Engram(33) JAX: Garrard(14), Jones-Drew(15)/Taylor(25), Reggie Williams(40) OAK: Russel(25), McFadden(21) , Javon Walker(32), Zach Miller(19) STL: Bulger(11), Jackson(5), Holt(11) ARI: Leinert(24), Edge(22), Fitz(6) Boldin(16) SD: Rivers (15), Tomlinson(1), Chambers(29), Antonio Gates(1) MIA: Beck(39) Henne(41), Brown(18), Ginn Jr.(53) NYJ: Pennington(27), Jones(23), Coles(28) CLE: Anderson(8), Lewis(14), Edwards(4), Stallworth(33), Kellen Winslow(3) KC: Croyle(29), Johnson(10), Bowe(22), Gonzales(5) SF: Smith(21), Gore(6), Bruce(21), Vernon Davis(10) DEN: Cutler(10), Young(33), Marshall(14), Tony Schefler(7) Our defense has a chance to be dominant for the first time in 7-8 years. With Miami and the Jets twice, Oakland, KC, SF, and SEA on the schedule big D days can be had. Far and beyond the Cleveland game presents the toughest offensive opponent, aside from NE. I can see it now, bills 10-6, cleveland 10-6.. If Donte' Whitner wants to make his prediction a reality he must shut down Winslow. GO BILLS!
  6. This is true...... They weren't pleased with the offense in last years ota's.......
  7. Whitner 44????? I don't know about anyone else but i feel he may be our best positional player. Maybe im delerious though.
  8. correct me if im wrong but wasn't a bannister already cut from the bills a few years back?? that name sounds toooo familiar!
  9. Good assessment. Atlanta has two pressing needs and running back obviously isn't one of them. They need defensive backs (most likely safety bc lawyer milloy is old as hell) so i say Laron Landry with this pick... Minnesota had every position on they're offensive roster as a concern. Except say what ever positoin hutchinson is in... Pick- could be qb or wr like quinn or ginn. Houston is looking to beef up the front four. they need to give mario williams help and if they do and he has a stout season taking him #1 last year is more justifiable.
  10. Doubt it.. he is the only true NT in the draft.
  11. Overall its not far fetched.. i can see that happening just because of how crazy drafts always seem to end up but i got one beef.... Alan Branch?? where is the big daddy at?? there isn't a position in the league with as much need as DT and he is that NT run stopper everyone looks for.. he is a top 12 pick for sure!
  12. haha i like that one.. never heard it before
  13. Next time you see him blabbing on ESPN just look at the way he talks. He opens his mouth so wide when he speaks its completely abnormal. Is he human????? Its weird and kinda funny.
  14. Spoken like someone with some wisedom. good points. If we were just looking for that big statistical guy then we would have kept LFB. That guy was pretty much near the tops of the league in all LB stats if im not mistaken but that isn't enough!
  15. THEN THERE IS ALWAYS THAT WILD CARD WE COULD POSSIBLY PUT OUT THERE... ADRIAN PETERSON.
  16. yup the roc,. shes my home town.. Gotta love the gray skies!
  17. OK, so we have 4 first day picks and might have to start a rookie or two again on the defense.. To suppliment what we take in the draft, the way i look at it, we are also getting an additional 1-2nd round talent DT and a 2-3 round talent CB this year. Not sure what im talking about? Ashton Youboty didn't get any play last year, basically. He was projected last year to go as high as the first round. Thats why i was overjoyed when we tagged him in the 3rd round. Furthermore John McCargo was injured in week 5 i believe and his action in the first 4 games was limited. He was a projected 2nd rounder and a Bills 1st rd "reach". Because we really dont know what to expect from these guys on the pro level yet its basically like getting two additional 1st day draft picks to join our club this season who have the benefit of learning the system for the past 11 months. Its pouring rain down here in MD all day long as im sure it is in upstate NY so i thought id send a little sunshine via optimism.
  18. After this weekend.,., i could use a few whatcha got??
  19. Why do you use the term "newbies" in such a degrading form?? Just because some of us haven't been hip to the whole internet blogging for too long doesn't make us less informed or as much of a fan for that matter.
  20. This whole argument while entertaining it is all completely circumstantial.. You wont know how Willis is going to play against play actions and different offensive formations until you have seen him play in the Buffalo Bills MLB role. Now, they do say that willis is a great attacking linebacker and that he also shows "GREAT" recognition. Sounds good to me and when he is the Bills starting MLB next year with ellison and crowell on either side you might find that it was a good move. Do you think the bills should take him at #12 if peterson is not on the board?
  21. yea that bradley guy... never heard of him so i checked his profile and he does not fit the mold for a bills prototype line backer... either Rufus or Tim Shaw.. Or maybe even that virgin guy quincy black.. then that would be a phat ass draft!
  22. Just one GIGANTIC game of Chess....... Thats how i see it now.. just wait til draft time and you will see what AJ was really worth taking for his backup RB.
  23. Naah man we run under the policy ''dont ask dont tell".... not quite sure what happens when someone comes out.. probably a month or two of hazing until they're discharged.
