Stupid civilians and their guns
Steely Dan replied to kegtapr's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Cool! One less A-hole roaming the earth! after two masked men with guns burst in through a patio door. -
She wasn't serious I hope. (In my best Homer Simpson) Ahhhwww, pizza in a cup! Here's an article about the issue. A small Napa Valley winery called PlumpJack broke the ice, so to speak, in 1997, offering a $135 cabernet with a screw top. Bonny Doon Vineyard in Santa Cruz followed, first putting screw tops on 80,000 cases of its moderate-price wines and later moving to bottle all of its wines, including its top of the line Cigare Volant, with screw tops. This shows how a Stelvin cap works. Do not, DO NOT, diss steak on a stick. You obviously have no culinary expertise if you can't appreciate a good steak on a stick. Some of the best filet mignon in the world comes on a stick! Jack-ASS!!

Wow, the personal trainer is finally paying off for him. New law; Fat guys on the beach must wear mumus. It looks like a donut hole in his hands. I don't think he could fit a football between his thighs. That won't work with Mike. Now if you could cram half a cow in there somehow. -
Don't ask what I was looking for when I found this...

When did British TV stop being funny? I'm not aware it ever did. A lot of their stuff is a lot funnier than what'd you find on American TV. I love the stapler!! -
Linkage Take the 1989 Super Bowl against the Cincinnati Bengals. The San Francisco 49ers were down by three points with 3:20 left when Montana spotted -- no, not an open receiver -- but a personality. "There, in the stands, standing near the exit ramp," Montana said to tackle Harris Barton. "Isn't that John Candy?" And then he led the 49ers 92 yards, throwing for the winning touchdown with 34 seconds left. This was one of Montana's 31 fourth-quarters comeback in the NFL. 'Nuff said. I have to take a PUNCH!! from the cat for leaving McNabb off.

All that was needed was a post saying you need to change the title. That's it. No jumping all over me for just making a mistake in the thread title. If you read the synopsis I said that it went back to 1979 and I didn't want to include older QB's to keep the argument about different eras out of the discussion. You preferred to make a mountain out of a molehill. 'Nuff said.

Finally the Bills are the better choice of two teams.

As far as players go a lot of them think it's better to be UDFA than to have been drafted in the 7th round.

To avoid arguing about guys from a way different time this only includes QB's since 1980. Montana is included because he was drafted in 1979, close enough to be on the list. Jim Kelly is deliberately left off the list to avoid the homer vote. Guys who are still playing can be used based on your projected final stats. Please explain your vote. Thank you. You may now proceed I picked Montana because he was the coolest QB under pressure. He was just so relaxed on the field. Probably the most confident QB without being cocky. JMO How about your retard-as usual inability to read?
-
I went back and changed it. Happy now? Get over it. What a bunch of whiners. If you read the rules I said not before 1979. I'm sorry my wording wasn't perfect. :wallbash: Jesus Christ on a cookie!!! I'm sorry!!! :worthy: How about a simple post saying you need to change it to best QB since 1979, which I did. Wow, I see your point. Very well thought out post. Don't forget the "tuck". Doesn't Marshawn have the same rating? It's not retired its' drafted since 1979.

2009 - 15 = 1979 ? I have no clue how people can pick him over Montana. Montana kept him on the bench. Those who say Montana was a system QB well so was Young. That was a tough one. I couldn't decide whether or not to put him on the list, but I finally decided he was just a shade below the best QB list. JMO He's up there but Montana kept him on the bench. I just can't see how Montana makes 6th on your list.

The Machine that is Brett Favre...

From Rotoworld; Report: Favre has significant tear in biceps Favre Citing sources close to free agent Brett Favre, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that Favre signing with Minnesota is far from a done deal due to a "significant tear" in his right biceps tendon. -
I can't wait to see the penalties called on these jackass changes. I have a feeling that I'll be yelling at the TV a lot more this season.

If he got cut someone should give him a band aid.

The Machine that is Brett Favre...

True it is hard, I'm going with Montana all the way. No QB was more relaxed and confident on the field. JMO You douchebag don't you know one person is the best ever, end of subject, move on. What he said. That was posted November 2nd, 2007 before his dickful antics started. IMO, he will have a great first part of the season and around week 9 he'll impode. He's ruining his legacy in GB. JMO Not in my opinion. McCartney wouldn't get the people of England to hate him even if he molested a child in front of Buckingham Palace. JMO Aikman had the best OL of his era. If Barry Sanders had run behind that OL he would have the best stats of any RB ever. JMO He's an egomaniac who thought the Packers should've bowed and scraped to him when he decided way to late to come back with the Packers. JMO Oh, it'll be a fantastic game but a lot of people will be rooting against Favre. It'll be interesting to see how he's received in GB when he goes back. -
Maybe you should dream a little.

Making sign of the cross on chest for Ellison. In his first year a lot of the talking heads were calling him the steal of the draft. Last year he was coming off an injury that generally takes two years to fully heal. I think those ripping on Ko might be eating crow at the end of next season. JMO

After seeing the picture I thought the same thing. Fixed After her latest Playboy shoot was over, Jacqueline decided to go out and celebrate.

SI: '08 rookies who need to step up
Steely Dan replied to bills44's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Your bank has very little interest. The most important thing, IMO, is for Hardy to learn about off season conditioning from TO. TO has always been in fantastic shape. Moulds first three years: 1996: 16 games with 5 starts. 20 receptions for 279 yards, 14.0 average. 2 TD's 1997: 16 games with 8 starts. 29 receptions for 294 yards, 10.1 average. 0 TD's 1998: 16 games with 15 starts. 67 receptions for 1,358 yards, 20.4 average. 9 TD's
