  1. Camaros are cool but that version of Mustang is Boss!
  2. http://www.57classicchevy.com/789-chevy.html That's a pretty sweet ride.

  4. That's a great article, thanks.
  5. This guy is saying everything right and from the clip of practice I saw he seems to not be a hardass but not a "gosh golly gee can we try a little harder" type guy either. To me he comes off as respectful of his players but demands and expects a lot from them. These guys want to win but their just kids. They needs someone a lot like Gailey to show them how, IMO. Nix's drafting style seems to be tough, smart, hard working, nasty on the field and good character guys off the field. I haven't felt this good about the possibilities out of a Bills draft in years. I swear he reminds me a lot of Bill Polian. That's awesome. I could, never, ever, ever imagine a quote like that from a Jauron led team. I know you're kidding I just want to make a point; It's a lot more than that. It's his business attitude. He's making the players respect the game, IMO. We'll let Fred Jackson say it 'cause he said it best; (from link above) ''No TVs,'' added running back Fred Jackson. ''He kind of felt like it was a spa in there. He wants us to go in there and work out. And I think that's what they're trying to nail home. Guys are buying into that.''
  6. That would be awesome. I also want him starting for the team when they make the SB so his story will become a national topic. God, I hate Karl Malone.
  7. Geez, relax he's gonna miss a few practices. No need to start screaming and panicking!!
  8. Git 'er done Buddy!!
  9. You seem to think character and tough play don't go hand in hand. Eric Wood, 'Nuff said. Not caring about character is what leads teams to lose guys for entire seasons because they eff up too much. There are a lot of teams that need OL depth but have passed on him because he isn't worth it. What's so hard to understand? You seem to have no concept of team chemistry and discipline. JMO
  10. Agreed. Troup is one of the most critical players for Buffalo and needs to be in camp. The Bills basically have nothing at NT without Troup and Williams. Being a rookie makes it imperative that Troup hit all practices and it appears that will happen now. JMO Agreed, I hope they can get a rookie slotting system in place soon.
  11. Why do people want this guy? There was no bidding war for him. He got a $25,000 signing bonus. Miami is taking a chance on him but they have set things up so they can cut ties with him and lose almost nothing. JMO The argument that he's so great flies in the face of 31 team GM's. I think the 31 GM's know a hell of a lot more about talent than anyone here. JMO
  12. About time? If so I can't imagine why? We've all got time enough to die.

  14. The fact that Gailey has a high amount of respect for Wood is a very good sign. If this team had 53 Eric Wood mentalities they might go undefeated. If they didn't the opposing team would know who they played the next morning. I agree with all of those who have said that the more they see him the more they like him. I loved how he was able to praise, teach and point out mistakes. I especially liked how he told Roscoe that he had run a good route and that if he had called a different play Roscoe would have had it. He's willing to admit his mistakes and not blame the players for them. I see real leadership.
  15. What he said. Evidently 31 other teams are worried about his effect on team chemistry.
  16. Every single one of those guys is listed as a NT at NFL.com, except for Pat Williams who's listed as a DT.
  17. If it makes you so unhappy then don't eat at Taco Bell.
  18. I don't think that changes my point. I'm pretty sure there isn't a difference of 40 pounds being reported for some of these guys. If they list Cody at 350 he's probably closer to 375. JMO If Troup fails his camp physical some people will be all over him here. JMO
  19. IMO, it is a huge deal. I'm pretty sure he's the only one on the team who failed the test. I may be wrong but I think we'd hear about the others too. What they said. Here's a sampling of NT's on NFL rosters. You can find this info here. Kris Jenkins 360, Casey Hampton is 325, Wilfork 325, Pickett 340, Dvoracek 303, Ron Edwards 315, Ron Fields 314, Aubrayo Franklin 317, Kelly Gregg 315, Ogemdi Nwagbuo 303, Sione Pouha 325, B.J. Raji 337, Jay Ratliff 303, Bryan Robinson 304, Shaun Rogers 350, Ahtyba Rubin 330, Ian Scott 315, Paul Soliai 355, Kelly Talavou 350, Martin Tevaseu 310, Gabe Watson 329, Willie Williams 305, Jamal Williams 348 and Pat Williams 317. Out of twenty four NT's six are within 10 pounds of 350. You were outright wrong about Wilfork and Pat Williams. So if you count 25% being common knowledge I'd have to disagree. The Fridge was an athlete. He could slam dunk a basketball.

  21. Nobody but Miami offered him a contract. The contract they gave him has a $25,000 signing bonus. I have never heard of a signing bonus that low for a veteran player. That's a contract the team set up so they can dump him with no cap problems if they have to. It is no sure thing he won't be cut before the season starts. If Incognito is so great then why did the Rams cut him and the Bills refuse to re-sign him? Both of those teams need lineman and I don't think it's idiocy that led to him being cut by both teams. This Incognito stuff is way overblown. The guy has a real problem that teams see very warily. Miami was willing to take a chance on him but for a very small price. BTW, for a point of reference the Bills seventh round pick OT Kyle Calloway got a $61,000 signing bonus. That's more than double what Incognito got from the Phins. Let it go the guy is not someone any teams feel comfortable with. JMO
