  1. That article criticizes his on field nastiness. I don't think members of this line will let him get away with that. Eric Wood especially. JMO The starting O-Line they have now is very good. The OL coaching is great. JMO Exactly the same way I feel. According to Yahoo! Bable Fish Jamon means Jamon in spanish. I can't stand posters who have common sense. Ya Think!? If they can develop him into a starter then the Bills will have a very young, very good O-Line for years to come. It's my opinion that he's been brought in as a backup only for this year. Since he can play guard or tackle that makes him very valuable. It seems that Scott has the upper hand on the RT job for now and the rest of the season. Next years camp will be a free for all at the RT position. If they don't like Scott or Meredith they'll probably draft a guy.
  2. Don't say I never did anything for ya!
  3. +1 Shhhhh! Facts have no business here. Shhh! Quiet about facts. It sounds like this guy is ready to come in and play from the scouting report above. They may also believe Scott is good enough to start and that with a little grooming this guy will be a very good RT. If the Bills had spent a draft pick on him and put him on their practice squad a lot of people would be bitching about he's better than this guy or that guy why wasn't he on the 53 man roster. This way they got him completely free.
  4. They are your quotes that are all over the place. That's the point. Can you explain why in one post you say; "I've never moved my marker one bit." And in another say: "When I see a scouting report saying Trent has a big time NFL arm ...I'LL BELIEVE YOU!!!" Then after seeing two scouting reports you say; "I'll trust what I see on game day and what people say about him now that he is in the NFL over predraft reports." Then you say; "I've never wavered from this. YOU tried to take my point elsewhere!" Please don't do anything other than explain these opposing thoughts, thanks.
  5. If you mean "fans" by "people" then your basing your opinion on mostly uneducated opinions. I guess he believes you now. Oh, wait. I'll trust what I see on game day and what people say about him now that he is in the NFL over predraft reports. When I make an assessment of Trent not having a big time arm your retort is to compare him to the elite of the elite and argue his effectiveness. You're defending a point I am not attacking. It's takin' you a while to realize it but this is what I was saying from the start. I've never wavered from this. YOU tried to take my point elsewhere! A WR doesn't have to have 4.3 speed in today's game to be successful but it sure as hell don't hurt. They just have to play the game differently than a guy with more speed. They do however lack the dimension of being able to be successful using speed. Edwards lacks the dimension of being able to beat you ALSO with arm strength that many other QBs possess. Can you explain your confounding posts. Do you believe one thing or the other?
  6. Fixed! I was curious about that when I read it too.
  7. If you want me to speak for five minutes, give me a week to prepare. But if you want me to speak for an hour, I can start right now. Mark Twain
  8. An ex-girlfriend of mine said they are all TE's. The word "fruity", in the context you've used it in, is a homophobic term for gays. How do you feel about Chroise?
  9. It's amazing how much the Republican and Democrat party's have changed, isn't it.
  10. +2 Ummm...Ya Think?! Is there any term fruitier than the the word "Swagger" Fruitier.
  11. Your buffoonery keeps you from making adequate judgments about others, but your qualifications for judging yourself seem savvy if you direct your observations in that direction. What's she look like?
  12. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ September 22: General Interest 1862 : Lincoln issues Emancipation Proclamation On this day in 1862, President Abraham Lincoln issues a preliminary Emancipation Proclamation, which sets a date for the freedom of more than 3 million black slaves in the United States and recasts the Civil War as a fight against slavery. When the Civil War broke out in 1861, shortly after Lincoln's inauguration as America's 16th president, he maintained that the war was about restoring the Union and not about slavery. He avoided issuing an anti-slavery proclamation immediately, despite the urgings of abolitionists and radical Republicans, as well as his personal belief that slavery was morally repugnant. Instead, Lincoln chose to move cautiously until he could gain wide support from the public for such a measure. In July 1862, Lincoln informed his cabinet that he would issue an emancipation proclamation but that it would exempt the so-called border states, which had slaveholders but remained loyal to the Union. His cabinet persuaded him not to make the announcement until after a Union victory. Lincoln's opportunity came following the Union win at the Battle of Antietam in September 1862. On September 22, the president announced that slaves in areas still in rebellion within 100 days would be free. On January 1, 1863, Lincoln issued the final Emancipation Proclamation, which declared "that all persons held as slaves" within the rebel states "are, and henceforward shall be free." The proclamation also called for the recruitment and establishment of black military units among the Union forces. An estimated 180,000 African Americans went on to serve in the army, while another 18,000 served in the navy. After the Emancipation Proclamation, backing the Confederacy was seen as favoring slavery. It became impossible for anti-slavery nations such as Great Britain and France, who had been friendly to the Confederacy, to get involved on behalf of the South. The proclamation also unified and strengthened Lincoln's party, the Republicans, helping them stay in power for the next two decades. The proclamation was a presidential order and not a law passed by Congress, so Lincoln then pushed for an antislavery amendment to the U.S. Constitution to ensure its permanence. With the passage of the 13th Amendment in 1865, slavery was eliminated throughout America (although blacks would face another century of struggle before they truly began to gain equal rights). Lincoln's handwritten draft of the final Emancipation Proclamation was destroyed in the Chicago Fire of 1871. Today, the original official version of the document is housed in the National Archives in Washington, D.C. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  13. I don't care if he screwed up. He made up for it by atoning for it. That dude is fast. I'd be willing to bet that after Lee he is the fastest guy on the team. That play was jaw dropping.
  14. That would be a help. I'd still rather he wasn't hurt because if Buffalo beats them, I'd like to see them beat 'em at full strength.
  15. He's very accurate from what I've seen. The two 80 yard passes he threw to LE were right on the money with LE running full speed in that game last year. So far this year he's thrown 4 TD's to 1 Int. and he has a 104.9 QB rating. JP and Russell also suck on the mental side of the game and on their accuracy. So far Russel looks like a bust. There is a lot more to QBing than arm strength. JMO
  16. Gee, that must have been ruff. Sorry.
  17. Answering your own posts now?
  18. IMO, they should keep him unless they can get at least a fourth rounder. We don't know if anyone is. Today is Monday and they said he might be traded by the end of the week. I hope they can package him and some reasonable draft choice for a solid right tackle.
  19. I agree, it's all about money. Contracts can always be worked out with enough litigation. I'm sure there are some loopholes somewhere.
  20. Suzy Kolber looks really hot tonight on ESPN. No linky because it's on TV. I want to kisshhh her.
  21. I've recently (2006) started collecting and selling football cards. I wonder what will happen to Crabtree's rookie card value if he does re-enter the draft.
  22. Not necessecelery. (I know it's misspelled it's a malapropism.) I'm talking about which team will win the division not just recent games.
  23. If that happens there will be an investigation by the SEC and FBI and ATF and CIA and any other abbreviations one can think of.
  24. Fixed Jackass!! You can't even get that right. You can kiss my hairy Mullah.
