I think our DC will be.....
Steely Dan replied to Canadian Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I doubt it's him but they need to get some more young blood into the coaching staff. JMO -
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/foot...t.ap/index.html NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Who owns "Who Dat?" Some T-shirt makers are asking that question after they were hit with cease-and-desist letters from the NFL demanding that they stop selling shirts with the traditional cheer of New Orleans Saints fans. The National Football League says the shirts infringe on a legal trademark it owns. Separately, two brothers and longtime Saints fans claim they own the phrase, which was around before the long-downtrodden team's inception in 1966. The chant -- "Who dat say dey gonna beat dem Saints" -- is often shortened to "Who Dat" on shirts and signs and has been a mainstay at the Superdome since the 1980s. Saints fans, still jubilant after the Saints' win over the Minnesota Vikings for their first Super Bowl appearance, have voiced their dismay on radio talk shows, blogs and Web site posts. Many say it's something that simply can't be owned. Read More: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/foot...l#ixzz0e2XBpk4p Get a free NFL Team Jacket and Tee with SI Subscription

Gregg Williams talking like the idiot he is
Steely Dan replied to Rayzer32's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a make the players fit the system not a create a system that fits the players. He thinks being one of the few to understand the 46 defense makes him a great DC and he uses it whether or not he has the players to make it work. I'm glad to hear that Gailey makes systems around his current talent. -
That is soooo coool!! The only problem is guessing how high the players heads will be.

Colonscopy Tomorrow, What A Pain In The Ass!!

That's not funny!! Beat it!! It's not funny!! It's hilarious!!! Good luck MFP. I hope it all comes out well in the end. -
Here's today's journal entry from his wife; Friday, January 29, 2010 8:38 AM, CST I got back to the hospital around 6:45, in time to talk to the wonderful Kim, John's night nurse who was just going off duty. She said that I hadn't missed anything....everything was the same. Good news...the fever is under control finally. A little bit ago they reduced the sedation to check John's response. He opened his eyes and looked right at me when I spoke! He gave good, firm had squeezes when asked. One thing I learned from the neurologsist, Dr. Reuben, is that killing the bacteria is usually not a problem. The drugs do that just fine. The problem is that when the bacteria die, they release toxins which can harm the brain. Just a little science lesson there for you kids He was pretty blunt about the complications that can result...hearing loss, vision loss, cognitive (thinking) difficulties. we will deal with that as it comes. For now, he's responding, breathing, and comfortable. That's enough.

NFL releases Franchise & Transition Tag values....
Steely Dan replied to papazoid's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have no idea who the Bills would even think of franchising. -
Thanks, sounds like he missed the city. He's not even the HC there!!!

Nix Gets Nice Slam On "Whitey"....
Steely Dan replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think there is a lot more talent on this team than anyone thinks. A good coaching staff (I.E. anyone other than Jauron's) should be able to put all of that talent to use. Yes. -
I think that was about the guy Wade hired after BD.
-
Thanks, I could have sworn the MCM was under Wade's dipcrap ST coach. How'd I forget that.

Just get a beerball.

Looks as though we can cross McNabb off the list?
Steely Dan replied to Rust Belt Nights's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills were to trade for any Philly QB Kolb is the guy I'd want. I think Vick is out of there just as EZC said. I don't want Vick to the Bills at all!! I want to see a high draft pick LT and maybe a second or third round QB if one at all. I'd prefer to shore up the DL and LB's before a QB this year. I'm willing to give TE one more year and then draft a QB next year. If a new CBA with a rookie cap has been finished by 2011, trading up should be easier. JMO -
He's no Bobby April but he's probably the next best thing. Please remind me of why he was fired. My memory fails me on that one. Thanks.

Nix Gets Nice Slam On "Whitey"....
Steely Dan replied to BillsPhan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Too true. After a SB win I'm sure we'd hear; "They were lucky that so and so call didn't go against them.", "The other team wasn't even trying.", "The Bills didn't win the game. The other team gave it to them." "Did you see Gailey after the win? What the hell expression was that on his face for?" and on and on. -

Is American Idol Dead Without Simon?
Steely Dan replied to wide_right's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Yeah, assistant coaches should never leave to become HC's in the same division either. Obviously he's a troll. Replacing Simon will be tough but hopefully not impossible. I'm sure there are a lot of acerbic people in the music industry. I say bring in Conan O'Brien. He knows a little about music having worked with a killer band and his own musical skills. He's also seen a lot of talented acts on his show and if he's willing to be brutally honest it would work well. JMO -

PR It makes people happy to hear it. I think his post falls under the sarcasm banner. -
If he could get his brother to get him some roids he might not be too bad. Did you read anything past the title?

These guys say that their song "Back Pockets on the Floor" from 1996 is a lot like GLP's "Pants on the Ground" They do have a similar message but I doubt GLP had ever heard it before. This is in regards to the General Larry Platt "Pants on The Ground". His song is a take off of the Green Brothers song " Back Pockets On The Floor'. Back Pockets On The Floor was written by G. Green and was copyrighted and recorded by the Green Brothers in 1996. The General's song have the same intent, idea and in part the same message. YOU BE THE JUDGE AMERICA!!

Woah! I wonder if the dudes on the bridge survived. That one guy especially. You'd think the driver would have to be under the influence of something in order to do that. How could he not know?!
