  1. That part isn't true. Stallworth had a $5 million umbrella insurance policy.
  2. Wins/losses is only one out of a multitude of things you look at. Manning, while a good QB, is not an elite QB. He is an oft-erratic game manager, who relies on his running game and defense to win. The problem with Cutler is that he is a turnover machine, with 20 last year.
  3. ESPN has it http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4306275
  4. Woah... RIP if its true.
  5. Yeah, I'm sure teams with a lot of attitude and bad talent go really far.
  6. Not really. Manning is very average.
  7. As long as the Bills are in Buffalo, I'll always be a fan.

  9. You would have a point if the stats were even remotely close. But the gigantic gap between other QB's during Namath's era does not lie. There are plenty of people who believe Namath was the most overrated NFL player... ever. But yeah, according to you... turnover differentials do not matter... right? You MIGHT have a point about Namath transcending his stats, but Namath never won another playoff game after that Superbowl.
  10. Uh, no. The Gators use the spread option. That offense is NOT working its way into the NFL.
  11. Tarkenton: 342 TDs 266 INTs 57% completion All of those are far better than Namath's. There are quite a few QBs that didn't excrete the type of turds that Namath was prone to.
  12. Joe Namath had an awful career. He simply wasn't very good. Namath's career: 173 TD passes, 220 INTs, completion percentage of 50.1. He should have retired in 1970. Fran Tarkenton was a FAR better player than Namath ever was.
  13. pretty fun to watch. It's absolutely amazing what the makers created with such a limited budget.
  14. Only the top QBs should get that kind of money. Eli is not a top 5 (maybe even not top 10).
  15. Does your son have an internet connection?
  16. Anything from City Wok.
  17. If Edwards plays well, we will make the playoffs.

  19. I don't know.... our run defense will really suffer if they keep Donte at FS.
  20. ctrl + c and ctrl + v learn to use them before you start a thread. No one wants to go hunting for videos on youtube.
  21. Its from prior to last season. Scouts inc haven't updated their scouting reports yet.
  22. Grade: 62 | Key Alert: None Comment: Bailey has exceptional speed and very good athleticism. He closes on the ball in a hurry against the run and has the tools to be effective in coverage. He uses his hands well to ward off and shed blockers. He is at his best when covered up and able to move laterally, making plays inside-out to the ball. He has the size, quickness and agility to cover top interior receivers and tight ends. He was very raw coming into the league, but he has developed his reads and techniques. He has learned how to play under control and take proper angles to the ball. He is tough and competitive, but he isn't physical. He isn't powerful enough to stack and shed effectively. He tends to get banged up and misses some time almost every year. Bailey has developed into a good starter and special teams contributor, and likely will be re-signed by the Lions.
  23. I was speaking about the players that get signed, and then cut. It would either lead to teams signing guys on 1 or 2 year deals, or paying out those contracts. There is no way guaranteed contracts would work in the NFL, it simply has too much turnover.
