Whitner could lose starting spot?
Fingon replied to BuffaloBlood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It doesn't take much to be credentialed for NFL events. My father ran an NFL draft website in the mid 90's and he used to get press passes for every single draft. He never got more than 1,000 hits a day, but he still got to eat prime-rib and lobster for free. Jason Taylor's mom did call my Dad and ask him to rank him higher, though. -

Rotoworld and PFT simply repackage other people's articles, and insert some irrelevant comments that they believe to be humorous. The sites break big news, but any commentary should be disregarded. Their talents lie in reporting the news, not talking about it. -
Whitner could lose starting spot?

Yes, because people paid to scout players often think "Hmmm... i saw him on TV, so he must be good." -
Whitner could lose starting spot?
Fingon replied to BuffaloBlood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, he does Grade: 77 | Key Alert: None Comment: Whitner is coming off his second season and has been one of the better young defenders in the league. He has good size, strength and athleticism. He is a hard-nosed safety who is better versus the run than defending the pass. He is often inverted and in the box in the Bills' defensive scheme. He shows great instincts, a good feel for angles and the ability to leverage the ball. He uses his hands well and can work through trash to stay alive to the pile. Whitner is a strong tackler who maintains good body position in the open field. He has good range off the hash, filling the alley or making plays across the field. He is best to jam receivers off the line of scrimmage in combination-zone coverages, but isn't as effective in pure man schemes. He has good foot agility, balance and quickness in space. Plus, he can redirect and close well to the ball. He isn't an outstanding coverage defender, but often he is used in the box and not in a ball hawking mode. Whitner has been very effective in the Bills' defensive philosophy and as a special team's contributor. Safety - Top 10 RK PLAYER GRADE 1 Bob Sanders 91 2 Adrian Wilson 90 3 Ed Reed 90 4 Troy Polamalu 88 5 Kerry Rhodes 78 6 Tanard Jackson 78 7 Donte Whitner 77 8 Ken Hamlin 77 9 Gibril Wilson 76 10 Brian Dawkins 75 -
Whitner could lose starting spot?

Gee, I didn't know it was a bad thing to be a very good run defender. -
Sanders has a history of getting the most from d-line

Yeah, and martial arts are useless in a fight. -

There are multiple threads where this nonsense has been thoroughly debunked. Please use the search function. -
Who is the best QB in next years draft.
Fingon replied to jax bill backer's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Off the top of my head, Trent is better than: Whoever Detroit starts Joe Flacco Jason Campbell Marc Bulger Kerry Collins Whoever San Fran starts David Garrard Whoever Minnesota starts Kyle Orton Mark Sanchez Jamarcus Russell And if he develops, he will be better than a few other Qbs as well. Edit: To answer the original question, Bradford and McCoy are the top 2 QBs. Tebow is pretty low on the list, but could be a top 5 TE prospect. -
Tyler Dunne sez Nic Harris is da man

We were also top 10 in 3rd down defense, despite our terrible pass rush. -
I think the best way of putting it would be to say: Apple= Monster Cable

What software do you want? 90% of it is free. You have to pay a very large amount of money to get Apple's bloatware. Anyways you really don't know what you are talking about. A GeForce 9500 GT does not weigh less in a Mac, and most decent motherboards have most of the rest already built in. I can build any Apple computer for 1/3 the price they are going to sell it to you for. That cannot be debated.
-
It sounds like you need to learn to use a computer. I've had 1 or 2 viruses on my computers in over 15 years. from gizmodo: http://gizmodo.com/5285452/os-x-snow-leopa...final-countdown You get the EXACT SAME hardware that you get in a PC. Don't give me the crap about "superior craftsmanship".

Are you really that uninformed? It's a gaming rig, and last time i checked, there were very few for OS X. Windows 7 is an awesome OS, and the previews have the new apple OS and windows 7 about equal.
-
10 minutes on newegg.com, and i was able to almost exactly replicate the Mac specs above. Want to know how much it was? $720.93 That's 25% of the cost of the Mac.

I was over at a friend's house yesterday, and he spent half the time bragging about his new Mac pro. Never having researched the specs of the newer Macs, i was pretty much shocked by how little you get for such high of a price. He ended up spending $3000 for: a Core I7 920 processor 3 GB DDR3 1066 MHz RAM GeForce GT 120 640 GB Hard drive and a sh------- stock motherboard Anyone who buys a Mac is either too rich to care, or an idiot. I built my current computer for $1300 (already had the case, monitor, and DVD burner) Core I7 920 12 GB DDR3 1600 MHz 2x GeForce GTX 260s 1.5 TB Hard drive Gigabyte UD4P X58 Motherboard 650w Corsair power supply And 64 bit Windows 7 RC for my OS. The kind of prices these idiots will pay are absolutely outrageous. You are paying thousands of dollars just for the little apple on your case.

It's the internet. Get over it.

Sure, people often hire others to kill their spouses. However, I'd be shocked if that were the case. My money is on the roofie chick's boyfriend.

He's missed 5 games in 3 years. That is above average for an NFL player.

Does Eli Manning Deserve To Be The Highest Paid QB...

Are you denying that Namath had many very crappy seasons? Namath is considered very overrated by A LOT of people. -

A record based on a stat. 4,000 yards is a stat. Just like TD to INT ratio is a stat. -

How hypocritical can you get? You quote a stat to make your argument then tell us they don't mean sh--. http://espn.go.com/page2/s/list/alltimeoverrated.html #1 overrated player of all time according to Page 2. -

Bob Griese was also in Namath's era. (much better career, as well) -
How much time do fans have to see the Bills in the playoffs again?
Fingon replied to LGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
With the current state of the economy, it would be more profitable to stay in WNY than to move somewhere else. -
Well, looks like the police have their prime suspect....
