  1. When are you getting your own commercial, Tim?
  2. He/she is just trolling.
  3. The average record of the teams with the most two-a-days is 7-9.
  4. Let's see what an actual NFL player has to say on the matter, shall we? http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...akes/index.html And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why two-a-days are becoming fewer and fewer.
  5. And a tough training camp = 7-9.
  6. So you really believe that the if we had more archaic two-a-days, it would have made up for the inept game plans, lack of talent, and terrible quarterbacking?
  7. The NFL average for two-a-days (in 2007) was 8. That number has been steadily decreasing as coaches find out that all they do is wear players down. Ross Tucker wrote a good article on it: http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2008/writ...akes/index.html If you look at the list of two-a-days, you can see that more do not increase your record. 2007 49ers with 13: 5-11 Tampa Bay 12: 9-7 Seattle 12: 10-6 Saints 12: 7-9 Detroit 10: 7-9 Texans 11: 8-8 Giants 11: 10-6 Dolphins 10: 1-15 Winning % = 44%
  8. Two-a-days are rapidly decreasing in the NFL. Team's used to do 20-30 of them in TC, but now the average is in single digits. Players simply don't need them anymore. The number of two-a-days directly correlates to wins? Is that why the 2007 49ers did 13 of them (league leaders), yet ended up 5-11?
  9. So we should ride our players into the ground? That makes perfect sense. Jeff Fisher is a real hard ass as well, with his very lax training camp schedule. The HOF game will take a lot out of a team, and every coach recognizes that. There are many things to criticize Jauron about (game day planning, clock management, etc..), but you guys are really reaching here.
  10. It's standard procedure, when you play in the HOF game, to limit two-a-days and give your players breaks.
  11. How many of those teams are playing in the Hall of Fame game? Right, none are. You are comparing apples to oranges. Would you B word if the Bills were emulating the Colts? Because they did the same thing when they played in the HOF game. http://www.colts.com/modules/article7_prin...11-e47583e47f60 Man, Tony Dungy sounds like a real hard ass.
  12. Please, feel free to post the TC schedules of the 12 playoff teams. Until then, your cherry picking of teams is rather worthless.
  13. I'm not the one who created a thread bitching about how the Bills have a couple less practices than other teams. You clearly do not get the fact that with an extra preseason game we run the risk of more injuries, and tiring our players out. Also, it is beyond retarded to say that a few extra hours of practice are more valuable, for a team that hasn't played full-contact in half a year, than a preseason game. You can go on bitching about nothing, but there are far more worthy things to harp on about.
  14. Preseason games are live action, and therefore get players ready for game conditions. The reason that they don't schedule more of them is because of the risk of injury. Also, your entire post is based on a faulty premise. The extra week of practice, and extra preseason game more than make up for the lack of two-a-days. The Bills will have more total preparation time than the Patriots. Sigh, can't believe I'm feeding a troll.
  15. Are you really this dumb? Think about your question for a moment.
  16. What has going after everyone done for the Raiders?
  17. It's spelled "Aye", not I.
  18. An extra preseason game is far more valuable for getting your team ready than a few extra practices.
  19. It's not like our training camp is a week longer or anything....
  20. Hear anything about Byrd, John?
  21. The Supreme Court will have to answer that soon enough.
  22. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2009/...everette-brown/
  23. Ah... I get what you're doing.
  24. Want to test it? Go out on your porch, and start waving your dick at everyone that goes by. We'll see how far your argument gets you.
