  1. Kiper has him as a 3rd round prospect, 16 of 21 NFL scouts surveyed thought he wouldn't be an NFL QB, Bill Polian doesn't think he will be a QB, etc..
  2. Let's hear what the Federal government has to say on whether or not Marijuana causes cancer. Even with the huge bias that the Federal Government has against marijuana, they still have to admit that the overwhelming evidence is toward it not causing cancer. http://www.drugabuse.gov/infofacts/marijuana.html
  3. Yes, because "being naive" is not doubting the results of the largest long term study ever done on marijuana? The statistical probability that a large amount of people that have smoked up to 22,000 joints in their life, and have those people not develop cancer at an abnormal rate is extremely low, if it is true that marijuana causes cancer.
  4. It's also decriminalized in NYS. Anything under an ounce is a $100 fine.
  5. Sure I can. Alcohol is the 3rd leading preventable cause of death in the US at 75,000 people a year http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6089353 Marijuana has never killed anyone. Hell, it doesn't even cause cancer http://www.webmd.com/lung-cancer/news/2006...-to-lung-cancer There is not one confirmed death from the use of marijuana. Not one.
  6. Do you feel that you would be doing justice by putting someone in jail for using something far safer than alcohol or tobacco?
  7. http://www.jsonline.com/sports/packers/91140969.html 16 of 21 NFL scouts/FO members thought Tebow would not be an NFL QB. That's why he is too risky for the Bills to pick.
  8. Winning in college means nothing for NFL success. It's not going to help Tebow hit NFL-sized windows.
  9. Just wondering what people are doing for it. Anyone know of any special events going on in the Buffalo area?
  10. I hope we aren't stupid enough. Polian on whether Tebow will play QB in the NFL: "I honestly don't know," replied Indianapolis President Bill Polian. "There's such a long way to go. Would I stake my job on it? The answer is no. I don't know that he would become a quarterback."
  11. I can say that other prospects have a much better chance at success than Tebow. Tebow could end up being a great QB, but that doesn't make him a great prospect.
  12. So, because a rookie QB wasn't good against two of the best pass defenses in the league, that invalidates the opinion of the best GM in the NFL?
  13. Bill Polian doesn't think Tebow will be a franchise QB.
  14. 16 of 21 pro scouts believe Tebow won't be a solid pro QB. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/...news-for-tebow/
  15. Would you rather make the playoffs next year, or build a team that is consistently in the playoffs?
  16. So, because we have had inept GMs for the past 10 years means that we should abandon any logical rebuilding process? B-rate defensive guys? Yeah, they are... but this was an extremely weak FA class. The Bills are full of C-rate players, but guess what? All the top teams are built on B-rate players. You can't have a star at every position, and filling your team with good starters should be the #1 priority in FA, which we accomplished.
  17. You guys are such bitches. What did Nix say when he first got here? That he was building through the draft. Good teams build through the draft first, and THEN go out and trade for players. You don't see teams like the Packers going out and dropping multiple high draft picks and a huge contract extension on WRs. I swear, some of you have 10 second memories. We signed two solid FA starters for our defense.
  18. Some people in this thread couldn't rub two brain cells together. We signed two quality starters on defense, and have a GM with a very good draft record. You can trade all the draft picks you want for low-character players, but until you have a solid foundation that is built through the draft you are wasting your time. This may work out for the Phins, or Marshall may be suspended for a year, but giving up two 2nd round picks for one player isn't smart for a team with so many needs. Who would throw Marshall the ball? Who would protect the QB throwing to him? We would be paying Marshall more than $10 million a year while we try to plug pieces in around him. But guess what? We would have lost two 2nd round picks, and building a team would have been much harder. Only someone ignorant to the rebuilding process would say the Bills should have given up what the Phins did for Marshall.
  19. How can you really not get that? Do you honestly think that the Steelers traded Holmes behind closed doors? 30 other teams had an opportunity to offer something higher than a 5th round pick. That tells you something right there about Holmes.
  20. 30 other NFL teams could have traded for him. That tells you what kind of risk the jets are taking.
  21. Bulger's best receiver in St. Louis was his running back. We at least have Lee here. He would offer better QB play than anyone we currently have on the roster. Bulger attacks every level of the field, which is something Fitz and Trent don't do. I wouldn't expect him to play extremely well, but if the Bills don't view any QB on the roster as a long term option, then there is no downside to signing him.
  22. We should sign Bulger, and draft a QB to sit behind him for a year or two. That way Bulger can take a pounding while we upgrade our offensive line, and it will give whoever we draft time to develop.
  23. The Seahawks just traded a 2nd round pick for Whitehurst, I don't think they will be looking for a QB in round 1.
  24. Look for the Bills to have interest in Bulger when he is released by St. Louis.
  25. It's suppose to come out on mid-2010, so I doubt it will look much different than the product in the video.
