  1. That was on TV too, thanks to Steve Donner.
  2. I LOVE THIS SITE! http://bugmenot.com/index.php
  3. This would be an awesome way to start FA.
  4. I guess that I'm one of them.
  5. Mike Wahle http://www.packersnews.com/archives/news/pack_19888136.shtml But Thompson and coach Mike Sherman have several other crucial decisions as well, starting with left guard Mike Wahle. To get under the cap on March 2, the Packers will cut Wahle, who’s due a prohibitive $6 million roster bonus and $5 million salary. They can wait until as late as March 1 to make the move, and might do so to keep other teams from negotiating with him until then. Wahle, 28, is one of the NFL’s premier guards and in the prime of his career. The Packers would love to have him back, because his ability to hit targets as a pulling guard is one of the keys to their run game.
  6. Yeah and so is Boston Legal (one of my fav shows currently on)
  7. Kevin Harvick
  8. Basically, because of this...the Amerks will go from a Calder Cup contender and the team in 1st place...to barely making the playoffs and losing in the first round.
  9. Thank you, man! But this is exactly what we were all afraid of. The Amerks and other AHL fans were thrilled that the NHL got cancelled officially because of one main reason...it keeps the teams the same and lets them compete for the Calder Cup. It would have been very exciting if they could keep all their players. The Amerks have a good shot at getting the cup. But now the call ups will begin and the top players on the Amerks and other AHL teams will flee to the NHL teams for a pointless 24 game season.
  10. Dude, I'm in Rochester and the Amerks are our home team. We have been having problems getting to the Calder Cup lately because of callups. Read the Amerks board. This is exactly what the fans were afraid of. Yes, I'm glad that the Sabres and all are coming back. But what is the point? 24 games? woo hoo. What they should do is fix the league to bring the fans back. Implement rule changes and other things and work on this during the Summer, so a regular season will be all ready for the new and improved NHL. This allows the the European league and the AHL to enjoy their success before the NHL takes all the top players away again.
  11. But as a fan of the Rochester Amerks, a team that is leading the AHL right now and is on a record breaking pace for home wins in a row. I'm pretty pissed that the NHL is going to have a pathetic 24 game season with a full Stanley Cup playoffs. Number 1, that takes away from one of the most exciting AHL seasons in a while. A bunch of players in the AHL teams would be in the NHL if it were back. Number 2, it makes the Stanley cup worthless, because 24 games will not show you much. Then look at the Amerks...they are 56-38-10-3-5 and have the most points in the AHL with 84. The next team behind them has 76 points. They have the Calder Cup excitement back in Rochester. However if the NHL starts back up, the normal promotion thing will happen and the NHL will lose it's top players. Check out these names. i guarantee as least half of them will be upgraded to the Sabres. G Ryan Miller C Derek Roy LW Thomas Vanek LW Daniel Paille RW Jason Pominville D Jeff Jillson C Chris Taylor :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: NHL and NHLPA, you greedy money grubbing bastards. You are only doing this so you can pocket the money from whats left of the season.

  14. May it take them another 86 years until they win again.
  15. Notice how the classy Yankees are keeping their mouths shut and just letting the Red Sox look like Classless fools?
  16. I hope he doesn't pull the same sh-- as last offseason. He had a pretty good season last year and I just hope gets better.
  17. This is why we need to sign Clements to an extension this offseason.
  18. IF the Bills beat Pittsburgh and Bledsoe had a decent game...he is still the starter today and would at least compete for the job in training camp, IMO.
  19. Here's what annoys me....this state is in such bad state...especially Buffalo and Rochester and Western NY. Yet, they have a half billion dollars to use to build a brand new stadium for the Jets?!?
  20. In Rochester, all the towns seem to contract that out.
  21. This is the part that really got to me.... I am thrilled they refused to raise the sales tax in WNY. But I'm happier there will be deep cuts - why do we need over 10,000 public employees in Erie County?
  22. No to mention, the "government employees" are not the ones that people think. They aren't the lackeys in the office or the morons who caused this problem. They are regular people, people who now are jobless in an area where there are already a bunch of jobless people in Western NY. I think a tiny tax increase would have been a better move than laying off employees. Or how about paycuts for the BIG government employees? I'd like to see Giambra take one... I'd also like to see that !@#$ing moron mayor of Rochester take the !@#$ing Fast Ferry the hell out of here before it causes any more problems. !@#$ing Johnson! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain:
  23. Once Seattle gets a GM, I could see them franchising Shaun Alexander. I also think that Edge will be franchised. This is GREAT news for Travis Henry's trade value imo.
  24. Not to mention, there are now a lot more people getting laid off because of this. One of the affected was my season ticket partner...not anymore. :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: Anyone who thinks cutting jobs is a good thing...
