Usually by now, we hear something about our restricted free agents, and the latest offers to our UFAs. Something must be going on at One Bills Drive, because it's been much quieter than normal. I think something is brewing. TD is probably talking to some of the cap cuts right now and maybe is working on a couple different trades. Either way, it just doesn't feel right. is it just me or does anyone else feel this way? RFA: CB Kevin Thomas, G Mike Pucillo, and RB Joe Burns EFA: RB Dante Brown, LB Josh Stamer, LS Jon Dorenbos

he'd be too much of a distraction to the team and even if God forbid, Willis goes down...Henry wouldn't give it his all.

(OT) Rochester now owns the Fast Ferry

So, what's your opinion on the Renaissance Square? The one that is going to revitalize downtown? Performing Arts Center/MCC Downtown Campus/Underground Bus Terminal are going to build downtown.... http://www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/p...60328/1002/NEWS -
Or here's the post for those of you who can't read it.... So, anyways...Philster, Ally, Halbert, and I go over to the pinto after the game to talk to Kenny. A guy comes to the bar and is drunk out of his mind and pissed. He also did a bowling ball shot to get even more plastered. :snicker He rips a poster off the bar that says "Run, Willis, Run" and says that he is Travis Henry's agent and demands to talk to whoever owns that bar, and he found Kenny. Kenny was talking to him and he told the agent that he is a huge fan of Travis Henry and tried to calm him down. The agent kept asking everyone why we hate Henry so much and then repeatedly said "I'm going to **** over Buffalo so much. I will **** you guys so bad." And he kept saying about how he is going to get Henry a huge deal somewhere else and is going to really **** us over. He was going on and on about how he feels that we hurt Travis and he does not understand why we love Willis so much and won't give Travis any love. Oh, and he also proved it to a couple people that were there, he showed Travis Henry's number on his cell phone to Kenny and some of his friends that were with him and were sober also confirmed that he is Henry's agent. ---------------------- I also have a pic on there for proof that it is him...Hadley Engelhard.

I totally agree. I still say that Rochester's dumbest move was passing on the Downtown Casino. That Casino at the old Midtown Plaza would have been a great way to bring money and people back to downtown and might have helped lure some people from the ferry. I would love to see NY give Rochester the right to put Video Lottery Terminals on the fast ferry. It would be a great money maker, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. Maybe next year? Look at how good the VLT's are doing in the racino's at Fingerlakes and other race tracks. -

The same company that loaned the money to CATS is loaning $36 million to Rochester. $32 for the ferry, $4 million to get everything going. This company is in Australia. -

If they wanted to do it, fine. But what would have made more sense would be 2 smaller ships for the same price. $32 million is too much for a ship and that boat is too damn big for the route it uses. -

If you watch this video...you will see that it's basically like a mini cruise ship that you can ride while you relax on the way to Toronto. http://www.portofrochester.com/SPIRIT%20OF%20ONTARIO002.wmv -

It's a Ferry that the city of Rochester now owns and wants to try to make money out of it or at least bring tourists here. It goes from Rochester to Toronto and Toronto to Rochester. The port is in Charlotte where the Ferry Terminal is. Check it out here.... http://www.portofrochester.com/FastFerry.htm -
I was just watching 10 NBC and saw a news report that the auction is done and Rochester has won the Fast Ferry for $32 million. Everything's all set and the ferry will start back up again in May. I just pray that this was a good move, but I'm not sure.

Boston College? LMAO! -
I thought that his players were a few too many. 2007, most of those players will be old and we will probably have their replacements on hand already.

Travis Henry holding up trade to Arizona

I blame his idiot agent. Check this out for more info.... http://www.billszone.com/fanzone/showthread.php?t=56475 -
I'm not saying he's had a bad season, but it wasn't that great either. Basically, he's done better. IMO, the line actually looked fine when they rotated Ron Edwards in. They did lose a bit of the run blocking, but Edwards had a pretty good season. I don't want to get rid of Big Pat, but I also think that he is getting up there in age. Also, if you are a fan of stats...his tackles were down and his pass defensed. I also think that due to his shape, he's not the kind of guy that plays more than 2 downs. It seems like he was only out on the field for half of the snaps last season. Someone like that is not worthy of $4 or even $5 million per season. Look at how he matched up with Sam Adams, who only got 4 yrs for $10.248M and a $1.5 M signing bonus. Adams was also 30 years old then. Pat Williams will be 33 this year. Pat Williams - 53 total tackles, 37 solo tackles, 16 assists, 2.5 sacks, 1 interception, 1 TD, 0 pass defensed (12 of the total tackles, 8 solo, 4 assists, and 1 sack were in the last game) Sam Adams - 41 total tackles, 26 solo tackles, 15 assists, 5 sacks, 1 INT, 2 pass defensed, 1 fumble forced
-
I like those numbers. If he was willing to accept that. BTW...how close are those to Sam Adams? Would Big Sam still make more or would he then ask for a raise?
-
I'd rather have it happen that way than lose him.

I hate how everybody gives KFFL the credit. all they are doing is reposting blurbs of the article. Which is the same thing that TBD does on their front page, BillsDaily and even BillsZone. Someone already posted about the actual article here... http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=19115

I think that this will be like the Ruben Brown thing from years ago. Where Brown was given an offer by the Bills, rejected it because he thought he could command more money. Then, he came crawling back and accepted the offer. I hope it works that way. Pat Williams and his agent just need to see their market before they come back. I hope that they at least will give Buffalo a chance to match whatever offer they get.

Agreed. Backing out of it and not allowing it was childish and makes them look petty. It would have been GREAT publicity if they stuck with the "winning bidder" for the one day name. I love how they make up some excuse by saying that the name is vulgar in Boston and won't be approved. What a load of sh--! -
No. Sam Adams is a better player than Pat Williams. Pat has never been to the Pro Bowl and he really didn't have a good season this year. Hell, I bet many people haven't even heard of Pat Williams.

I always wondered how long it would take until a player would SCREW the team that slapped the tag on them. This is great. I'm not suprised that the first agent to tell his player to do it...is the Poston brothers. What !@#$s. -

They shouldn't be able to back out of it and if they do, it shows the bias of the local courts. I love this. I guess they deserve it. What do you expect when you put the naming rights up for auction on ebay? Great idea! That would be !@#$ing hilarious to see. -
I swear that it's not 1 in every 3 caps. I have bought about 10 diet pepsi's so far and all i got is one. It's all yours, SDS....
