Could this trade signal a possible deal
tombstone56 replied to Cornerville's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
it might take till draft day for briggs to be traded ,, if willis is there we take him ,but if he s gone make the briggs deal and then pick up a mlb ( siler) n the second,,espn.is discussing the skins trade for briggs ,sounds like its agent talk only -
willis will see what its like being a guy a city is pissed at.. when the ravens visit i m going to toast that slug all game and i sit 5 rows behind the visitors bench,,i can toast his 3 kids ,his great career ,his obvious mental capacity,, his appreciationation for the team that gave him his start in the nfl ...OH GEE I M CONFUSED HE IS THE GUY THAT IS THE UNGRATEFUL.. LOW LIFE , WALKING EPIDEMIC. he had better have ear plugs for the game i can garuntee he will hear things..lol

Defensive stats from last year
tombstone56 replied to Kelly the Dog's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
if other teams are running it straight at you ,, less pass attempts and less chances for int s .. stuff the run with stronger inside play ,,at mlb and dt things will change,,,we got little out of our lbs as far as playmaking or game changing plays,,,,, -
Greg Olsen TE, Miami - NJ kid is a beast.........
tombstone56 replied to Tom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
greg olsen s workouts were off the charts .. so to speak ........ but the question is does that translate to actual football skillls .. is he another freak on the field or just in the weight room.. that being said id take him ....if we had the mlb spot ssettled ....watch out for matt spaeth.minnesota big target very productive ,more agile version of metzlaars..available 4th rd -
The Broncos are shopping ILB Al Wilson.

cost is the issue ,, he scheduled to make 5.2 million.. thats why they re trying to move him -
the problem i have with the theory of moving crowell to mlb is they have stated they wanted bigger lb in that slot,, keep in mind juaron was the guy that drafted briggs and urlacher when he was with chicago,,,255 ,260?? crowell is a wlb by size being only 228 by his account stating to s trying to get to 230 ,, wow big guy.. i dont care how they do but get us patrick willis,, he'd be a fixture there for a decade..ps i still think spikes is history he wasnt in attendance for otas if i heard right.spikes and a 3 for nyg 1st take poz there ,, there that works for me ...

i have oakland swappping picks with tampa bay and them taking calvin johnson,, ,,followed by detroit swapping with arizona and them taking joe thomas.. 1 tb- johnson 2ariz- thomas 3clev-peterson 4oakland russell 5 detroit - quinn oakland get tampas 2nd and 3rd and 4th also..possibly more detroit gets ariz 2nd and 3rd just a opinion seems to make sense russellis not a number 1 overall ,,johnson and thomas by "talent' should come off 1-2..after that its hard to call but looks like the skins are setting up to choose landry at 6

With newly installed coaching staffs going on the last
tombstone56 replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
not bad tipster.. i agree with the message as i believe there is often mistakes made in personel departments during these transitions usually made in evalaluating veteran talent or emerging rookies , most new coaches must rely on the existing personel depts. for their info. causing clashes over what the team needs are due to past loyalities of players or picks. sharp evaluators watch new regimes for this to happen it does n't occur as often as in the past . after a draft teams jettison veterans if they presumably have their replacement. this years draft has few d-line prospects but maybe someone will shake loose after the draft and the bills will be able to take advantage...., in the past john guys evaluations have been suspect,,,,,,marvs though were usually very astute, we will see... lots of time till camp.. -
it was my understanding that the bills had offered a 2nd but AJ countered they wanted roscoe too,,marv said no ,, all that said, i m a huge fan of brian leonard the kids works hard for every inch every down.. in one sweep play he actualy "drop kicked" the guy trying to tackle him. the last person i saw do that was a high school kid from east brady pa. you might of heard of him,,JIM KELLY.. .leonard has moved in a 2nd rd projection,, tony hunt should be there in the 3rd too..
-
if they want willis 12 is where they have to be .... the rams, bengals and carolina all are in need of linebackers too
-
WILLIS OLSEN WILLIS OLSEN WILLIS

a good reason bills dont go willis with #12
tombstone56 replied to sarmanuscg07's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
the problem with your theory of poz as late 1 is updated projections have him ahead of timmons going 14 ,after patrick willis and poszluny ,the lbs prospects are filled with holes, theres likely to be some good ones,, bradley, okum, timmons, everett ,beason? but the nearest thing to a garunteed starter are those two. -
Tony Hunt's good football pedigree
tombstone56 replied to JuanGuzman's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am also a TONY HUNT fan .I actually see him as one of our 3rd round picks ,, running by comittee wouldnt seem so bad with him in the mix , late article says FRED JACKSON looks in top form already ........ A-TRAIN ,,,,HUNT AND JACKSON .,,,works for me -
welcome on board ,i ve been talking about patrick willis since november ,,he is the the guy we need in the middle ..he has more heart than you can imagine,, played with broken hand because he "felt he owed it to his teammates and school"..when was the last time you heard a kid say that??.. marv talks character this kids epitomises the word.. ,,WILLIS AT 12/// HOPEFULLY

Something that is taking shape for the upcoming season
tombstone56 replied to Adam's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think if you want a great offense you need the qb ,,lossman,,,,,,,,, 1 top wr evans,,,,,,,,, a rb thats consistent,,,,,,,,,,thomas,,,,,,,,, a strong o line,, maybe its there ,,,,,,,,????, but you need a dominant pass catching te,, we have adequate but non threats at te,,the bills will address this in the draft,, imo there are 4 players in the first rd ,,the bills have on thier wish list thats why the presumtion that they want 2 firsts,, patrick willis ,, greg olsen ,chad houston and paul pozluuny ,, in that order,, willis and oaz would be huge but willis and briggs ,far fu,,in out,, briggs wants to be the centerpiece to a defense according to last interveiw he was sick of hearing the "urlacher" lead bears... anything s possible the coutdown continues....... spaeth in the 4th??? -

I hope we don't trade Takeo Spikes.

i exspect spikes to be gone on draft day ,either as a player swap with chicago or as part of a move up to the giants slot in the 1st rd -
AstroBot and other Draft Guys

i agree with staley in the 2nd .. but i still exspect a one and a two ,before they go to a qb.. possibly troy smith in the 3rd.. -

the raiders in recent weeks have added a running back and a fullback.. j porter is not currently disgruntled because of a sit down with little AL.. its seems that they ve postioned themseves to fix the offense,,, IMO the raiders are setting up to pick JOE THOMAS ,, they announced last week robert gallery is moving to RT his college position.. we willl see -
lol.. 56 comes from i used to ride a 1956 harley chopper.. the tombstone part came after a night of partying ,, I woke up with a girl in a cemetary ,,enuf said..

running backs are like disposable diapers .. when they start there spiffy ,, but they wind up full of sh-- and then you toss em before they stink up the place,,,,,,, by the way the bull sh-- keeps flowing from mcgutless's mouth its obvious that this guy has been full of it for a while..... i ll take class over ass any day from my rb.. when your team is down character counts ,in mcgutless 's case the lack of it showed..

whoa now,, london fletcher lead the team in tackles ,,yes,, but it was mainly because they ran right at him,, he also lead the team in personal fouls for two seasons,, and most of his tackles were what is know now as TOF,,,that is "TRIPPED OVER FACEMASK on way by him,, when the teams was down you need team leaders to buck up the young talent,,fletcher like his counterpart spikes folded his tent and went home he showed zero leadership in tough games ..he talked the talk but that was all it was from him,, i liked him on special teams but as full time starter ,no way.. IMO he will be another in a long line of FA busts for the skins
