Another no show today. The Dome was rocking, Melo was being honored at halftime, and they laid a total egg.. Same type of effort as against UConn. This team just isn't very good. I've heard the " there is no dominant team in college basketball" mantra ad nauseam, but I'd be completely shocked if this team advanced past the Sweet 16. They remind me of the 2010-11 team that lost to Marquette in the 2nd round.

DeCastro was a rookie last year, who missed nearly all of his rookie season due to an injury suffered in the Bills per-season game. Kind of a strange comparison, IMO. I don't recall many people lobbying for the Bills to draft Watkins, an overaged rookie, with their 1st round pick. Better Warmack than an overrated, system QB like Geno Smith, IMO. He has some gaudy numbers, but that's about it.

My recap: 1. Another slow start. SHU was up 9 at one point in the first half. Their offense hit the skids for about 5:00 thereafter. 2. Absolutely nothing from Keita or Christmas, on either end. Pretty sure that only 4 SU players had FGs last night. 3. We lose that game without Triche. He was excellent. Great job on the boards by him and MCW 4. No PT at all for Cooney. Not sure why JB thought that giving either of the guards a rest for a few minutes was a bad idea. 5. Grant started, but didn't play much. He didn't look great, and JB yanked him shortly after a missed 3-pter. Don't think he saw the floor after that. JB playing favorites again. This team just isn't very good. Their struggles on the road and in neutral site games doesn't bode well for the NCAAs - they just seem to play down to the level of their opposition away from the Dome.

I can see it already - Flutie makes the team, has a 10.00+ ERA, but wins a few games because the Arizona offense averages 15 runs per Flutie start. Fans think he's great, and credit him for "saving" the Diamondback franchise.

yeah, I remember that game. the offense was ineffective (again), and the defense bailed them out (again) - Gabe Northern (or maybe it was Sam Rogers?) stripped Tony Banks of the ball as the Ravens were trying to run out the clock, and the Bills recovered. Linton scored the GW TD. Pretty sure that the lil' guy threw a bunch of picks that game.
