  1. premiered last night. I thought that it was pretty good...pretty interesting premise. Anyone else watch?
  2. Someone should have shown the Pats* a copy of this report before the draft. They're the innocent victims in all of this.
  3. I think that the first paragraph that I quoted was interesting.
  4. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424127887324436104578581772197037576.html Shortly before the 2010 NFL Draft, a scouting service that prepares confidential psychological profiles of players for NFL teams found that Aaron Hernandez enjoyed "living on the edge of acceptable behavior" and cautioned that he could become "a problem" for his team. On one personality test, Hernandez, who was arrested last week on murder and weapons charges, received the lowest possible score, 1 out of 10, in the category of "social maturity." The Patriots declined to comment on whether they had seen the report before drafting Hernandez. Hernandez's attorney, Michael Fee, didn't return messages seeking comment.
  5. One thing for sure, if the Pats* weren't involved, we wouldn't have a certain "Bills fan" chiming in and defending the Pats* every 5 posts.
  6. The Strawman is making a few appearances in this thread...
  7. Sure, other than his inability to block.
  8. Oh, I think they knew about the incident with the bouncer, the 2007 shooting, the idiotic picture with the gun, the gang tats and the domestic incident, and still rewarded him with a multi-million dollar extension. I'd be curious to learn what the Pats* reaction was to the "accidental" Bradley shooting. I mean, it's perfectly normal for people to wave guns in a car, right?
  9. Nice job, SJBF. But how could the Pats* have possibly known about any of these incidences? I wonder what the Pats* reaction was to the Bradley incident.
  10. He's a Pats* fan, that's why. What, specifically, is Mathieu accused of doing?
  11. I think that Mathieu is a putz, but did he cold-rooster someone and rupture eardrum? Was he questioned by police with respect to a shooting? Also, I'm pretty sure that the Cardinals aren't media darlings, as are the Pats*. Plus, there's that whole Spygate thing. Coach is an adulterer, too. Other than that, the two franchises are exactly alike.
  12. Hernandez's tattoo artist?
  13. Is this a 5-star restaurant or a water park? What is she supposed to wear?
  14. Of course every team drafts players with a less-than-stellar background. However, once Lynch's off-field problems resurfaced after his selection by the Bills, the Bills were criticized, even ridiculed, by some here for drafting Lynch. Probably by some of the same people who defend the Pats* in this thread (and others). exactly. Enough with the "Pats* couldn't have known that Hernandez was a shitbag" nonsense. There were enough red flags raised due to his antics in college.
  15. Once again, bang on. I'm sure a missing a few of Hernandez's pre-draft Greatest Hits, but here goes: 1. Failed drug tests 2. Gang tats 3. Rupturing the eardrum of a bouncer 4. Possible involvement in a 2007 shooting. Sounds like kids being kids, right?
  16. Good stuff from Moats. He represents the franchise well.
  17. So, this thread is about Nelson doing charity work in Haiti, and you felt the need to take a childish shot at him? Pathetic.
  18. probably a t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers.
  19. His brother seems like a tool, as well: http://nesn.com/2010/11/brother-of-patriots-tight-end-aaron-hernandez-caught-stealing-plays-for-southington-high-school-foot/ Wonder who taught him how to cheat... Completely agree.
  20. Wasn't Lloyd shot 5 times? IMO, there's a big difference between drafting guys with a little big of swagger and those who have gang tats and fail drug tests.
