A couple of things. I don't know about a lawsuit, but Kim should raise holy hell with the league over this. 2 rules were blown on that play. Probably the worst was that they over ruled a TD called on the field without video review. WTF. Just because a team isn't having a good games doesn't mean they deserve to get piled on by the refs Too. Texans weren't having that great of a game either.

I have seen many kicks where the returner stands there and the ref does nothing til the dude takes a knee as it should be. There aren't many "old men" refereeing NFL games anymore.

I like the idea of playing in Houston because they have a dome. In our only dome game this year our offense going against a good defense had one of it's best games. I'm starting to wonder if perhaps Daboll instituted a dome offense for us.

I agree Beane is doing a good job. Just not an easy A job. Passing on the top 3 young QBs in the AFC and then taking Josh Allen is not easy A drafting. Josh is good and may some day be great, but he's not even in the same ball yard as the other 3. I need to see more for an easy A. A playoff win at home would be good place to start. What we have so far is a good start at an easy A IMHO

That's true. But you gotta be at least average in all phases of the game if you are lights out in one. Last year Chiefs were lights out on O and pedestrian on D and look what it got them. Same could be said for Falcons a few years ago. This is the 3rd year of the rebuild. Should be just about done. Mostly is, but the O still stinks. My response was that he didn't deserve an A+. To get an A+, a GM needs to have at least one hide on the wall IMHO. I don't give anyone credit for salary cap room, it's what you do with it which he hasn't had a chance yet. Stay tuned ... Easy A is too generous IMHO. Yes, he did turn the roster over. Yes he drafted JA. He also inherited the 10th top scoring offense and after 3 years has turned it into the 23rd. I view before the third year of your rebuild if you have to flush 9/11 of your offense and start over and still they can't score as kind of a fail. And IMHO you don't give a guy an easy A until the QB he drafted IS a great QB (which JA is not (yet hopefully)). B-

I had a friend that i worked with that lived in Houston and was a sports nut. She of course hated that the Oilers moved and was super excited about the Texans starting up. There were several names in the mix including Roughnecks and a few others. they had polls etc but when the owner announced Texans it came out of left field. She didn't like it, but what can you do? If the Bills ever moved and Buffalo got a new team (like that would happen or I would be around) I would want a better name like Buffalos or something. Or maybe just pull a Madonna/Cher and go with just go with Buffalo.

I think the Texans did it right in regards to new name and suits. I hate when teams like the Clowns try to pretend like they're the old team when THEY ARE NOT. Oilers are now the Titans and The Ravens are the old Clowns. I wanted Texans to be either the Roughnecks or Fire Ants. Texans is a dumb name and take it from a native Texan that lived there a long time, there have been tons of teams in Texas called the Texas. Heck, even the Chiefs started out as the Dallas Texans. I agree, dumb name. Keeping the name the same is the NFLs way of downplaying the fact that teams move and leave the fans high and dry. Here, take this dumpster fire but still call it what the old good team was.

I agree but am rooting for the titans so if they make it to AFC Championship it would be at our house. Also we've only played one dome game this year and it was against a good D and our O was dang good. Kindof wondering if maybe Daboll installed a dome offense. Maybe if Coach Marrone had dumped Hackett Jr AND gotten a better QB. The team is pretty much a mirror image of the current team. Lights out D and putrid O. Just an average O and we are seriously in the SB discussion. Should offense really be this hard when you have a franchise QB and decent talent around him?

Norv Turner may be available. He his presently listed as OC in Carolina. If he did become available, I'd make a serious run at him. Carolina was ranked 10th in O with Cam in 2018 and 16th with one of the other Allens at QB in 2019. Has a Daboll offense ever been ranked that high?

I agree with the bolded, but the rest not so much. 2015 and 2016 offenses were top 1/3 of the league in scoring. 2016 was 16th overall and 10th in points. 2015 we were 13th overall and 12th in points. Pair this D with an offense that productive and we're in the SB conversation. Doesn't seem like too much to ask. Our talent is not bad enough to justify our production IMHO.

Our odds are the same as the other 7 teams playing next week. Championships are won on the field. on a side note, whoever thought up this odds thing is a genius. They're ALWAYS right. If Buffalo wins S B they can say, well, I told you there was a .5% chance they would. If not, they can say, well, odds were 99.5 against them winning.
