  1. Just saw Kiper talking about RBs on ESPN and he now has Bush going in the 4th round area, maybe late 3rd. He won't be ready to go (broken leg) until later in the summer, but he might be worth a shot in the 4th, esp. with our two 3rd round picks.
  2. This also makes me think the Bills are really looking to go LB in round one. McShay had them taking Willis yesterday, but POZ has a lot of smarts and leadership skills. Plus, a lot of fans would be happy to get POZ because he is a "character guy." All that being said, Willis looks like a workout freak and played with almost no help at Ole Miss. POZ played with some good players in his great junior year and this less-great senior season. If you saw him play later in the season, though, it looks like the knee will be fine.
  3. Why would the bills want ANOTHER backup RB. Barlow could not even make a dent in the Jets backfield where he likely had the most years in league of anyone they had last season.
  4. The Bears might be one of the only teams cheaper than the bills. I guess they don't want to pay a top choice, but no. 12 would get them out of the "big money" zone. But do we think Marv is going to trade for a guy who is pushing his way out of his current team? Briggs is good, but I wish he were a MLB.
  5. Jones has to be the odd man out. Bell and Duckett are guys who will split carries, so it makes sense to use them both and ditch Jones. I like Jones and his injuries should drop his price. He is worth a 4th or 5th, but a 3rd would be too high. Remember, I think the Lions got another RB from the Broncos for Bly ... I think his name is Foster.
  6. We won't miss them. Esp. when we have money to spend in the next few years without all those aging players.
  7. I like POZ because I am a PSU fan. He was part of a team that brought back that program from the Big 10 (11) basement, so I respect him for the role he played on that team. That being sad, I don't know if he is a top 12 talent, but he plays hard and trains hard. I think people in Buffalo like him for his work ethic and "high character," which makes him that anti-Willis (the RB not the LB).
  8. Hodge is a tool for sure. "Every QB in the draft sucks," is a fav line of his. Jaws is a good fit if they are going to retain the other two guys. Tony and Jaws work well on PTI. I would like to see Steve Young do MNF because he would work well with the loud-mouthed Tony.
  9. They don't have the players yet to think Super Bowl. Most teams in the cap era go through a growing period where they find players who will be the foundation for a deep playoff run. I would be happy with a wildcard this year with a top 4 seed to come in 2008 or 09. The hope is J.P. and Lee are the players to build around
  10. I thought we going to do "or see the Sabres win the Cup?" Super Bowl for both.
  11. I guess he wants out of the 3-4. The "Mangenuis'" D also makes LBs play all over the place. So, he can't just sit in the middle and pad his tackle stats.
  12. He had one good year. He is also a Miami guy. I need a break from Miami guys who want out from their teams. Can you blame me?
  13. Youbouty deserves a shot. Remember, he was going in the second round, until he slipped. He was also a very, very good CB at Ohio State, so I think he should get a chance to prove himself. He also got a year to learn.
  14. I have only been here 6 months, so I don't know a ton of people. But, apuszczalowski, the dean, and astrobot (for his draft thoughts/ obsession) are all good reads.
  15. Hunt is simply the real deal. He can alsoblock, hence why he became the starter at PSU over other pure runners. He could be a starter in two years. Sadly, a lot of teams are aware of him.
  16. You never know. His Brown education might give him an edge in picking up gameplans. On day two, smarts is a good thing.
  17. Johnson would have to be the endgame for that move. They signed Henry at RB, have Cutler at QB, and I think they like smaller, more mobile O-line than Joe Thomas. Johnson would fit great with Jevon Walker, and they could deal Rod Smith to the Lions. Smith could really help teach that young WR core the lions have.
  18. This would be a great draft if it falls as you predict. I like Shaw a lot, but he had a great, great combine, so he is on a lot of teams' raders now. Bush is interesting, but I am not sure Marv would take a player coming off such a bad injury.
  19. If we did not have some many other needs, sure, take a TE. I like the idea of an FB who can handle same carries. I still think Leonard out of Rutgers would be a perfect fit in Buffalo.
  20. Here is my worry: we draft a cocky RB who we have to trade in four years because we can't sign him and/or he has worn out his welcome.
  21. Pick guys who want to work hard to play football, not guy who think it is their god given right. Also, pick guys who want to play here. I really had it with Wills' bitching about Buffalo.
  22. Short, but fast. He will be a great kick returner. The knock on him is he racked up yards in the MAC. I just worry if he can break tackles in the NFL.
  23. No to Dillion. The Pats drained him. I would like to see Brown or rhodes with A-train.
  24. Was he not stabbed several times a few years ago? If he is healthy, sign him up.
