  1. I've mixed sound on 40+ shows (national + international broadcast... with beautiful ratings... very very beautiful ratings), and supervised sound mix on about 150 more. I have a bit of a clue.
  2. Well, he can solve all this by making a brief appearance outside of a controlled studio/audio environment. A full day-plus later, and not a peep. Not suspicious???
  3. I've already made up my mind on his character, so he'll never have my vote- this is about whether he's even physically fit to run. Previous news reports said he was taking a 3 week pause from campaigning- if true, something's up with him.
  4. Where the audio in your posting has obvious filtering on Trump- listen to the tonal/environment shift every time the sound cuts between Musk and Trump, this one doesn't have that shift The audio, while compressed for both of them, doesn't have the tone shift. And why isn't Musk slurring (any more than his normal lisp) while Trump is? And where did Trump Force One get his sound equipment- a Cracker Jack box. Plus, the duration is 5 minutes different from the original, telling me there's likely been pitch-shift and time compression applied. Likely some echo removing filters and some variant of auto-tune. Bottom line- if Trump is truly fine, and hasn't had some kind of stroke or other breakdown, where is he? Go on TV Donald, with real cameras and professional microphones- he normally has no problem mugging a camera every chance he gets. I want proof the Presidential candidate is physically fit for office.
  5. Why, God, Why!!
  6. That band shoulda been about as big as The Beatles
  7. Oh ***** yeay I do hahahaha. I hooked into them at Raise, then ***** Mezcal Head came out... hahahahahha- gorgeous, front-to -back!!! I met Adam Franklin a few times in life... first at a place called EJ's - basically a Portland punk- dungeon in about 1990, then on later shows at Neumos and the Filmore I mean, just sat down and had a beer with them... very nice peoples
  8. Cheese and Rice! I drove through Ireland before, so I figured out how to drive on the wrong side, with a stick of course, because I'm a proper driver, but I was a terrible pedestrian in London. Thank God they have sidewalks telling people which way to look, otherwise my Astom Marten would've plowed through various small crowds at awkward moments.
  9. Oh c'mon US Egg. You can't have a first trip abroad without filling us in. What did you discover?!?!?! I hope you had a great time or should we call Interpol?
  10. And goodbye to you... goodbye to yoo-hoo... goodbye to you
  11. What says you, Russian judges.
  12. The pie crusts- I'm pretty sure they're 50% flour and 90% shortening. ) Tragically I'm at LHR on the way out. Next time I'm renting a car and roaming the countrysides. Cheerio ol' boy
  13. So I'm on day 8 of 10 in London right now. I'm traveling solo this time- and I've had some amazing solo travels in the past. I'm finding London to be an absolutely lovely city- it could be a model for every city in the US in terms of how to make things function. I haven't felt unsafe in the remotest at any point, except maybe a couple late night drunks howling after England lost the Euro Cup. There's a huge integration of cultures here, and it's incredibly different than the racial dynamics of the US. I don't look at anybody of another race and wonder if they're a threat- it just doesn't work that way- at least in the quite a few areas that I've been. It's a big city and, like any other, people are doing their own thing and generally don't give a hoot about your existence. They're incredibly polite, and if they're serving you they'll get you what you need with great courteousnesses and a smile, but I've found it mostly impossible to make any connections- and I'm usually quite good at that- even in other big cities like NY, Rome or Paris. People say the English are 'reserved', and well I totally agree with that- tough nuts to crack. I've had so much more, and easier, great conversation in Ireland, France and other places. Some of it is random chance, but it also seems the English tend to pack together into their own. In London ... the sights are stunning on just about every corner. Seriously, just turn a 360 wherever you're standing and you'll see at least 2 things that stand out. The fountains of Trafalgar Square are a nice stop through as you wander around. In my apex tourist moment, I went to catch 'Fawlty Towers' at the Apollo- lotsa fun- just try to forget how much you paid if you go to a show like that haha. London's Chinatown is great for food, The Globe Theatre is maybe smaller than you'd imagine. The Marquee club no longer exists.. You can tap a credit card to get on and off of all public transportation. I liked the RAF Museum, though I'm a pilot. And funny note, I saw Sherpa's post on the Churchill Arms- I went there yesterday and got a pint. With 18 days... if you can swing it, my advice would be to not get so much locked into making sure you get 'value' out of what you rented, as it would be more to use it as a home base you always know is there for you. Feel like going to Paris for 3 days... do it if you can make it happen. Spend a night or 2 in a smaller village, great. Have a lovely trip, and watch out for the shortnin' crusts- that *****'ll kill ya. )
  14. I absolutely feel your pain. I'm in London for a week and the gulls at 4am have been so damn annoying haha They come through in one giant flock of squawk at 4, then take a break for a while, then back again at 5:30. I flew 6000 miles to get some r&r, take in the town... and I got seagulls. )
  15. This one gave me a big, awwwwww. He was a great soul on this planet.
  16. My heart was crushed the day this gentleman died in the early days of Covid. It's still kinda crushed I'm still absolutely stunned at how incredibly stupid some of my fellow apes are. I mean, seriously you have a question as to whether this is a deadly disease, and should I put bleach and sunlight into my stomach????
  17. Thank you OP for giving a hoot about that damned LB position. To me the LB's are the men amongst boys on D. Everyone's all boo hoo the DB stubbed his toe, or woe is me our DT doesn't have a swim move and our DE can't stop the run... Nah, excellent LB's make the rest of the players free up to do their jobs well. We have VG+ LB's, and they can evolve to excellent.
