1. Bunch of losers..  A 6-3 goraner where we throw 13 times, rush for a 120 yards and the defense allows huge chunks of yards but get Brett Favre like useless turnovers (that are worthless, like the JP fumble caused by the ref), shows us nothing....

Hah! We favor winning over excitement, so we're the "bunch of losers"?

  2. And don't use "dumb" then use "2 progressions".  To go through all of your reads is "1 progression". Loseman can't even get to his second read let alone going through his entire progression twice.

If you're gonna take about being dumb, learn how to spell Jauron.

Maybe that's what Jouron is hoping for.

This is the last act of the JP Loseman show. For Coach Jouran to go against what he thinks best just shows that the frustration has gotten the best of him. They tried to make Loseman an NFL QB and it failed. So they are at the point where they will try anything.

I do like this move. The Texans defense is free on my fantasy football league. I really need a win this week so I can use the defensive TD's. :(

Tried it two different ways, but you still couldn't get it right. Its almost as laughable as your posts! ;)

  3. Oh wow, that's a good idea! I bet they do that.

I'm guessing they'll put him on "Smackdown!". They have a lack of talent and could use a new exciting player. If you put him in ECW, it would take away from the newly acquired Bobby Lashley and of course my personal favorite wrestler, CM Punk.

They've been neglecting SmackDown! for so long I find myself doubting they'll put Monty over there. His talents will probably waste away on RAW's midcard.

  4. Point is we are learning nothing about JP at this point.  The offensive schemes have been pathetic and we are upset that he is completing 60% of his passes.  I am not defending him as I've also seen some terrible game management and a lack of leadership.  However the past 2 weeks the game plan has been so pathetic as to make the team almost unwatchable...

I don't see how you can watch the games on TV and pretend you have any idea about whether or not JP is a leader. The fact that he doesn't air out his dirty laundry in public by yelling at linemen and receivers doesn't mean anything. What's he like in the huddle? On the sideline? In the locker room? I don't know, but more importantly you don't know either.

  5. Odds and history tell us that we will grab a 1st round corner and let him walk in 5 years, no matter how good he is.

If this does happen, the college kids on this board probably won't live to see a Bills playoff game.  ;)

I think "the college kids won't live to see the Bills win a playoff game" would have been more accurate. I can recall playoff losses to Tennesse, Miami and Jacksonville. :(

  6. "Southern Man" - Neil Young

since he died, the only ones that really have been talented have been Common, Eminem(pre-8mile) (in a satirical way), and Outkast (not their poppy stuff, but more of their early stuff like Rosa Parks, B.O.B). those have the only really lyrically sound rappers since his death.

Far too often, i watch the videos or hang w/ buddies and wanna vomit over the crap spewing from rappers mouths now and days, because it is so meaningless, and about how they getting paid.

I think you 'forgot about Dre.'

  7. Wow, we got it past the 30 yard line....  Let's run the ball... 3 yards, boy we are controlling the line, let's do it again.... 2 yards, damn we got to pass, but at least JP can't be sacked for a safety at the 40 yard line, can he?  He completed a pass and had protection!  Let's throw caution to the wind and try it again...  Pass interference, 2 friggin first downs.... 13 yard run, now Indy must be getting tired let's keep running.... damn holding, who cares let's keep running.... 9 and 4 yards, 3rd and 4, I guess we got to pass....  Hope Indy doesn't guess pass on 3rd down...  Another completion....  Let's keep running time off the clock, maybe we can hold the ball for 60 minutes and win 3-0...  Back to the run, no yards, better try that again.... Botched handoff now we are at the 34 yard line, that would be a 52 yard feild goal on 4th down.  If we miss then Indy will have a real short field, so I guess I can call a pass, good things can happen, maybe a completion, but if JP get's sacked Moorman can punt and if JP throws an int to the 10 yard line it is as good as a punt.  Wow a 24 yard completion to the 10 yard line!!!!  Can't chance it any longer, let's run it into the line and settle for the 3 points.....

And you wonder why they are going no where....

    838072

Why do none of those calls seem bad to me?

  8. Have fun waiting for at least two more years. It has become very apparent that very few teams have GOOD offensive lines. Teams like the Bills who have ONE solid starter are eons away. Good QBs will show signs of improvement and use what they have

    837749

He didn't say GOOD, he said competent. Lets hope Marv can give us 1 or 2 decent free agents and a high pick (or two?) this offseason to at least get this line to the point that its competent. Because right now, I don't even feel like we can adequately judge JP's abilities. If JP gets behind a halfway-decent line and still looks like Billy Joe Hobert, then we move on.

  9. I feel the same way. Until the guy has a fair shake with a half decent line its hard to tell for sure what kind of ability he has. So now what? My uneducated instinct is to change our play calling to adjust to our lines capabilities, or lack there of. So how about some slants. Three step drops. Screens. QB draws to take advantage of his running ability. Passing on first down.

    837662

The last thing I want to see is this line trying to execute a HB screen (if thats what you meant). Also, you want to pass on 1st down when the new line has shown itself to be one of the worst in pass protection, yet a decent running line? Lets run the ball all day long. In fact, I like the way the game was called against Indy. Run the ball constantly, mixing in a few slants, WR screens (to Parrish this time!), hitches, etc. And then you try a deep ball every once in awhile. Around 15 pass attempts from Losman seems about right.

  10. But JP doesn't throw a lot of easy dumpoff passes; ala Holcomb for most of the TE's and RB's are helping with the blocking. The biggest difference between the two is that Brunell is an aging QB with no upside and a weakening arm and doesn't have the ability or arm strength to throw the ball down the field; ala Holcomb. JP can and when those plays are called he has shown that he can make all the throws. And in the redzone, not having a dominant run blocking O-line, smaller WR's, and not receiving threat at TE become even bigger factors in the redzone when the field shrinks and defenses have less real estate to cover.

    837630

He can make all the throws? He consistently underthrows outs and launches fly routes 5 yards out of bounds. I mean, when is the last time he threw an accurate deep ball?

That said, I'm still pulling for the guy.

  11. See there is your first problem, you think a guy who runs hard to a hole, regardless of if it is there or not, has no receiving skills, and even worse blocking skills, is a good back.

Then you question whether keeping Mcgahee who has better vision for holes, better topend speed, 1000 times better receiver, and and even better blocker  (no Thurman granted), is the right thing to do?

    :D

    837032

When has McGahee shown himself to be any kind of receiver?
