  1. oh my god.. i'm so sorry to hear that, ajflutie.
  2. Hey, look, so did Robert Royal! http://www.nfl.com/teams/statistics?season...;seasonType=PRE
  3. that's great, but to go back to my point: why would tony gonzalez want to play for buffalo? kansas city is a team that isn't doing that badly, with a quarterback that actually gets the ball to his playmakers. what's buffalo doing? declining, with a QB that checks down to his running back 10 times a game and turns the ball over like it's going out of style.
  4. YPC = net gain of a completion. all these little checkdowns are killing both the YPC and YPA, even with Lynch's best efforts.
  5. ... and how many wins does buffalo have since the non-trade, compared to arguably one of the worst teams in the NFL?
  6. when you check it down to your outlet every pass play, this is to be expected. unless the RB puts forth a superhuman effort (like lynch did last game) and accumulates huge RAC, the YPC is going to suck.
  7. looking at it now, gonzalez looks like the smart one. tyler thigpen is playing head and shoulders better than trent edwards.
  8. vick would possibly kick all ass (if he still had his football speed) in that wildcat formation that is so en vogue at the time.
  9. i, for one, am not going to be lumped with the mouth breathers that spout such idiocies as, "trent makes the team better!", "The team plays better with trent!", "trent is able to have long, time consuming possessions!","Trent is a combination of Peyton Manning and Tom Brady!" te has to prove to me that he's worthy of my support, and only then will he get it. until then, he's held to the ridiculously impossible standards that JPL was held to.
  10. don't forget such stalwarts as: Bennie Anderson, Mike Gandy, and Chris Villarial!
  11. Please elaborate on how we've seen more flashes of good QB in trent than Eli/JP.
  12. not just any RB, the speed burner RB.
  13. eh, that wasn't exactly an easy catch either.
  14. easy INT? leodis was completely horizontal, fully extended.
  15. schonert is to blame, for us not getting the ball into our best players on offense's hands enough - lee evans, marshawn lynch, and fred jackson.
  16. those point-int stats were basically: throw a sh------- 2 yard pass to marshawn lynch that doesn't hit lynch in stride, and watch marshawn juke the whole cleveland defense.
  17. i think the similarities between peyton manning begin and end with both throwing 3 interceptions in a first quarter of a game. oh, and that they both play quarterback.
  18. "There is no need for worry, we have strong fundamentals."
  19. the difference being, romo has actually accomplished things in the NFL other than beating on bottom-feeders.
  20. ROFL edwards played like sh--, and we almost won in SPITE of him, not because of him.
  21. FORE DJ!!! FORE DJ!!!
  22. we didn't win last night. but what does that have to do with us discussing if lynch and jackson are playmakers?
  23. don't forget reggie corner completely missing brady quinn on the unblocked corner blitz :banghead:
  24. what marshawn lynch and fred jackson did tonight didn't convince you that they are playmakers? r u serios?!?!
