    i'm as big a jp losman fan as anyone, but he just doesn't get it. will he ever? after 5 years, it's probably not going to happen. his accuracy is too erratic for him to be a starting (NFL even?) quarterback.

    nope, he didn't drop it. he actually managed to catch it. instead, he did his best impersonation of a long-striding marathon runner, letting only one foot land in the endzone instead of just tapping his feet down.

    I didn't have a choice, really. Derek Anderson/Brady Quinn got injured (wasn't going to start Ken Dorsey), Trent Edwards is hurt, so basically my choices were JP or Ryan Fitzpatrick...

    carolina's running game has been beastly lately, so delhomme hasn't had to pass much. ...i'm the benficiary of carolina kicking ass at running (i drafted deangelo willaims in like the 7th round)

    that's great and all, but what you say is pretty much bull sh--. our offense doesn't have continuity, drives aren't extended, and our defense isn't being kept off the field.

    I have confidence that JP Losman is going to get sacked multiple times. I've got as much confidence as him winning these next games as I do in Trent Edwards winning them.

    and i never claimed otherwise - all i was saying was that it was a major play/gaffe in the game and was worthy of being discussed.
