  1. I agree, I think they have a 1/2 decent chance of upsetting NE. Especially if Branch is still holding out.
  2. the problem is there will will only be about 35,000 people @ the game. I usually dont go to the preseason games(I have season tickets along with 5 of my friends) butIm taking my little guy to the game. He is 2 1/2 years old. It is his first game. I know I probably wont be as loud as i usually am during the regular season given the fact that I wont be drinking my usualy 12-15 beers before I even walk thru the gates(maybe I will have a beer once I get inside). My wife agreed to let me take the little guy to the game only after I agreed not to get loaded like I usually do for the regular season games.
  3. One telling stat about E Moulds. He was here for 10yrs & in that time the bills never won a playoff game. Enough said. Glad he is out of here. Time to turn the page.
  4. A couple things: Tim Anderson is really starting to look like another TD bust. He was pushed all over the field saturday night. At this point I would be happy with him being a servicable backup. Hopefully Mcgargo & Williams continue to improve, we are going to need them this year. One last thing, I stated this before TC even started, but it is looking more & more like Simpson is going to be in the starting lineup sooner rather then later. If Baker could show that he could hold down the fort until KO is ready, Vincent gets cut. Im tired of his act anyways.
  5. I just remember the Chargers of I think 3yrs ago. I remember all the experts thinking they were the worst team in the league. They ended up going 12-4 & winning their division. Alot depends on Losman. Im not sold on him yet, but I do think he has some upside. Mark my words, the defense will be in the top 12 of the league. The offense, who knows. Iam predicting 8-10 wins this year. Of course Im always optimistic & am usually wrong.
  6. I didnt jump for joy but it just confirmed to me that Holcolmb is the worst qb out of the 3 & gives us the least chance of winning now & in the future. I think I could throw the ball farther then he can & I just had rotator cuff surgery in March. As far Losman, he made some good throws, he made some bad throws, but the one real positive I took from his game saturday night was for the most part his decision making was solid & his pocket presence seemed to improve from last year. Hopefully he continues to improve.
  7. At times like this I think back & wonder what Jim Kelly as a rookie would say if Bullough told him he was going to be benched for the first 2 games because they were hard games. He would of told the coaching staff to F off. Losman, is the guy this year, time to find out what you have in the kid. I say throw him against the wolves opening week in foxboro. He has had 3 years to get it figured out.
  8. I cant listen to Wgr anymore. It is pretty sad when Im driving home from work, 4 weeks away from the opener & in the middle of training camp, & I would rather listen to music then so called sports radio. That whole station is a joke. If I ever run into schop @ a bar, Im going to beat the living snot of him. He thinks he is smarter then everybody else & he is constantly on record saying that he really doesnt even like football. Get a new job if you dont like football jerkoff.
  9. I dont understand the thinking that states we have no chance of winning with Losman or we are relegated to being a 4-12 team with Losman as the starter. The guy has been in the league for more then 2 years. People need to stop with the excuses. I personally think Losman could have a decent year(somewhere in the vicinity of 3,000 yrds, 20tds/10 ints) & could lead this team anywhere from 7-11 wins. This team has talent, it is all about putting the talent in a position to make plays & win games.
  10. I have stated this even before the start of camp. If some of their young safeties look good early on in preseason (Baker/Simpson), that Troy Vincent should & will get cut. I dont know if you watched any games last year Pyrat Gal, but my recollection last year of Troy Vincent was getting dragged all over the field by any number of running backs in the league & always arriving 3 seconds too late to break up a play. But he is a good union rep, so he has that going for him. Im sure that aspect will get us over the hump against belijerk & the boys September 10th.
  11. Who cares anyways. Harrison is overrated & definately on a downward slide. Like that other guy said, Im more concerned about Vrabel lining out wide, streaking past clements like he was standing in quick sand & catching a 50 yrd bomb from Brady to win the game. Somehow, everything Bellijerk does on a football field turns to gold.
  12. My friend who is a beer distributor for Budweiser always gets us a keg for the opener. He puts it down as a business expense of donating a keg to charity(if you have seen me & my friends that have season tickets we are definately charity cases). We usually have between 8-10 guys for the opener & always kick the keg prior to game time & a 1/2 keg is 7 cases so that comes out to???? You guys will have to do the math for me, I dont have enough braincells left.
  13. The day the bills drafted Whitner, Youboty & Simpson with 3 of there 1st 4 picks is the day The Nate Clements farewell tour started.
  14. Yeah, but Eddie Robinson was an extra coach on the field.
  15. This article maybe realistic but isnt it a little premature? I mean at the time it was written, the bills have yet to even put the pads on @ Fisher. He should wait till at least after the 1st preseason game to write this Garbage.
  16. Ah, then stay home if you dont like. The 4 hour rule was ridiculous.
