According to the National Weather Service the air quality index here in Syracuse is 294 which is very unhealthy, compared to Buffalo which is 146 - unhealthy for sensitive groups.

Over 400 now in the 'Cuse.

Any ideas where the Bills fans typically stay in DC? We are planning on coming down, may take the train to avoid parking issues.

You don't want to be near the stadium, it's in a remote place with virtually nothing around it, entertainment-wise.

Suggest staying in the city in the Navy Yard-Nats Park area.  Good nightlife and you're a short Metro/Uber ride away from many of the sights/Smithsonians.

You can take the Metro to the game on Sunday but the nearest stop is about a mile away...it's walkable though, I've done it before.

Shocked the sports world by retiring immediately following his 9th season. The next year, he was in the limelight again as a member of The Dirty Dozen with Lee Marvin, running across roof tops, dropping grenades onto high ranking Nazis.🤣👍

While on the set of The Dirty Dozen, Browns owner Art Modell gave Brown an ultimatum: football or the movies.  We all know what the decision was.

Modell said in later years it was the worst thing he ever did.

No Bills in the late 50s, the Browns were on TV every week.

I know Rochester was defined as Browns "territory" before the NFL went with a national TV partner, CBS.  There's still a lot of Browns fans in Rochester.

The game of scalping/resale has changed dramatically in the last 15 years. I have been scalping tickets to games since 76, and man what a difference.

Day of game tickets were always cheaper, especially around 11;30 on a Sunday home game . Used to be the price of a single was always dramatically lower on a per ticket basis , that is no more and i cant explain it.

Back in the 80s, I'd roam the bus lot and there was always some drunk from the night before who missed the ride and the group leader would be stuck with a ticket or two or three.  They would gladly hand them over to me for $5...they figured what the heck, they were already paid for...it was the knuckleheads' who overslept problem.

IF Von can play golf NOW? HE should be good to go with his knee week 1. Seriously.  5/17/23 you are cleared for golf. week one is 9/11/23 That is 4 months from now. about.  He did not have as severe of an injury Tre had.

Ummm...I think being able to play amateur golf is a little different than playing NFL football, no?

  7. George seems much more annoying to me now then when the show originally aired...the first several seasons hold up ok but the last few are dreadful, it turned into Three's Company, where the comedy was centered around a "misunderstanding."  Basically, if I'm going through the channels, I now fly bye Seinfeld...there's only a few episodes I need to see again.

I will say that now having had YouTube TV the last few months, I still miss DTV. I think I am just getting old and am used to “old” TV (with channels and a more normal interface).

Yeah, I miss punching up channel 4 and getting NBC and 206 to get ESPN, etc.  I miss MLB and NHL networks, along with MASN.  But it had to be done...the cost of DTV at $122/month vs. YTTV at $73/month was just too big a gap...and after several calls, DTV was unwilling to close that gap.

I'm sad to be losing MSG and ability to watch Sabres games, especially with them about to become relevant again, but not enough to justify NHL Center Ice.

If you're out of market, get ESPN+ to get all Sabres games. You even get the Buffalo feed.
