Russel you should have waited until monday this thread was getting way to funny
-
Kiffin to the Rams. He is not a bad coach at all. And I think Al should hire Paula Abdul to coach the Raiders. She is someone who knows less about football than him, so it should work out.

If I hadn't bet my avatar already and lost that bet, I'd sure as hell take your bet. Now, how quickly Raider fans forget that without Ralph Wilson (Bills owner), Al Davis and the Raiders would have went bankrupt during the AFL days
Go ahead and make that bet justnzane, im fairly confident you'll win
-
Let me see if I can offer any answers to your questions and a bet!
1. How many years have the Raiders had consecutive season with double digit losses? Google it loser, this isn't your high school english class where you cheated to graduate. I do, however, remember a few Bills Superbowl losses in the double digits.
2. Will I be present at the game? No. Buffalo is crap and you couldnt get me free tickets to the OJ Simpson suite, although I do hear they make a great 'Bloody Mary'
here's the bet...who is willing to have your avatar picked by me and vice versa given the outcome of the game? One person. If you guys can nominate a respected poster who will live up to the bet that would be cool. If the Raiders fall on Sunday, I guarentee I will show up. If not, the admins have my FULL PERMISSION to give out my email address. Fair?
Ill take your bet, you should wait more then 10 mins for people to respond next time. Good luck sunday raider fan, your gonna need it

what a homer comment. Cuttler is over hyped.
I think he is a good player yet and is a great system but he is a bit hyped up for a guy who makes alot of mistakes. Kind of like Romo and Favre, good players who make alot of bonehead plays

I just dont understand why people are trying to create scenarios that UNMAKES Greer a starter......
They guy has been our BEST cover corner in many games........
In many ways it makes the McKelvin pick still a shaky one for me.......I can see he is a phenominal return guy.......but you dont draft that return guys that high.......I REALLY expected McKelvin to be at the very least our 3rd corner.....and he is not.
IMO we should leave Ashton where he is and not push him to starting corner.....let him and McKelvin push each other for that spot and PRAY that Leotis wins that battle.
Its not even that hes inst our 3rd best. The nickel CB position is so different from the outside. Youboty is the number one there, Mcgee and Greer are 1 and 2 on the outside and Mckelvin is 3 on the outside and 2 in the slot

A D-lineman ends up with an INT. They will be stunting and blitzing up the middle early on, then drop guys into zone, which should work against Oakland.
I could see alot of zone blitzing this week, anything to confuse JaMarcus.
I think he will be a good QB in this league, he has impresssed me with his arm and athletic ability but its not even close to where it needs to be
-
Mike Bush looked dynamite against the chiefs. Also Robert Gallery has really turned it around from draft bust at left tackle to potentially one of the most dominating interior lineman in the game today, he was opening holes against the chiefs that you could drive a mack truck through.
Home game I think we got it, but If Jamarcus Russel starts to find his mark we could be in trouble as I think we'll need to play 8 in the box to stop the Raiders rushing attack.
Its really nice to not be the team that has 8 ment put in the box aginst them and we automatically lose.
Good thing Hamdan taught Trent everything he knows

Watching the Dallas/Philadelphia game, you can see the explosive offense and all the weapons. Add to that Denver, SD, NYG, Arizona..... Want to see the Bills offense open up a bit. Yes they can not compete in a track meet, but I am consistently amazed that fans are excited after years of being beat down with 17 offensive points and 300 yards offense.
However the Bills at least have thrown over 200 yards each of the first 2 games.....
Most important stat is the W

I like Vic, but it seems more like H-O-M-E-R, to me. #5 is simply too high, for this team, at this time.
We have beat two playoff teams whats not to like? everyone other contender has been shakey at best and we look to be in midseason form
-
TBD is looking for someone to do post-game wrap ups. It will probably consist of:
5-6 bullet points of the games pivitol moments
game stats (this will be easy)
4-5 player quotes
links to AP recap, NFL, and BB.com post game features (photos, game-book)
and what ever else makes sense. It would be a tremendous benefit to our readers to have a decent archive of this stuff as the season progresses. Any takers?
Id love to do something like this how would i go about doing this?

Darren had one good game against one of the worst teams in the NFL. I'm not too worried.
PTR
Still with our run defense still somewhat suspect, it is my only concern
-
The sign of a mature team is putting teams away early and leaving no doubt.
It will be interesting to see how the bills respond to this.
The only aspect im worried about is Darren McFadden. We need to stop him or this is a trap game and we lose alot of respect

It doesn't matter who you think is a better qb. If JP was the starter, I would be cheering for him at RWS on Sunday. That is what matters.
Besides this, I agree with others in this thread. He might be very effective coming off the bench in case on injury to Trent.
haha Bill im only screwing with ya because you got on my case once
-
I guess you guys have made up your minds
I guess it doesnt matter
Give it up we know trent has a strong arm

Grounding my ass. The reason they are both 0-2 is the Bills beat them. Both teams had injuries I'll admit. So the Seahwaks should have beat the 49ers as you said, that would make their only loss to the Bills. They beat two playoff teams of a year ago. The thing about the Bills unlike the other teams in the AFC East is that they are only going to get better as the season progresses. They are very young playing a new offense. That is barring any injuries. Maybe many of us expect them to fail like they have so often in recent history. The opposite can be said when they went from being good to bad. I used to think when they were down by 14 in the 4th they had a chance to come back. I was still living in the past. This team is looking good and only going up from here. As friendly as I can say it "quit living in the past". The sky is the limit for this current team.
Agreed. The Bills so far have beaten two teams hurt by injuries. That is only because that whos on the schedule. The raiders are healthy, lets beat them, then whoevers next and after that too. Sooner or later its not going to be a coincidence. That win over jacksonville convinced me that this team is for real. We had gotton beat up and pushed around in the 3rd and lost all momentum. And in the 4th we turned in on and scored 10 points to seal the win.
Seattle and jacksonville were both a little beat up, But settle still had a pro bowl o line and defense we tore apart and jackosnville still had a tough defense that we pused around when it counted. lets shut down mcfadden this week and make it 3-0

For the second time this year I heard him on NFL Primetime saying that he likes the Bills, and thought we would be good after having an 7-9 season last year. You should know info like that

TO is what 34? He is the best WR in the league. WR tend to be pre madonna's and TO is no exception but when i see him 60 yards downfield blocking for a teammate nobody can question him not bringing everything he has on gameday.
That is why hes better than Moss, moss takes plays off TO wont

I just went back and watched every single play that Peters was in on and keyed on him. He played very well overall under the circumstances.
I gave grades for each play.
Excellent.
Good.
Did His Job.
Fair.
Poor.
Didn't Matter.
If it was a pass play, and he completely took out his man to become a non-factor, I gave him a "Good"
If it was a quick pass or run to the other side where all he had to do is stand there and not make a mistake I gave him a "Didn't matter"
If he simply did his job but didnt move his man, although his man was a non-factor, I gave him a "Did his job".
If he didnt really get a great block but his man had no effect on the play I gave him a "fair".
He got three ratings of "Poor". One was the sack, although it really wasn't awful on numerous reviews. Trent had a seven step drop and had time to throw. He didn't step up. Peters pushed his man to the outside and the guy made a good play, just getting to Trent from behind. I still rated that a "Poor". But it wasn't completely awful. The other two "Poor" ratings were run plays where no one else did well either and they resulted in two yard losses to Peters side. He didnt get beat on any pass play other than the sack.
He had:
Excellent: 3
Good: 14
Did His Job: 9
Fair: 2
Poor: 3
Didnt Matter: 6
I should hope so.... he is a pro bowler who is severly underpaid with mickey constantly keeping him um.... *cough* relaxed

Just wanted to give Walker some props of his own. With Peters getting all the press he sort of gets lost in the shuffle sometimes and that's not fair with the kind of season he's having. The staff has asked a lot of him this year between moving around the line and being a leader for young players like Chambers and Bell; Langston has responded to that added responsibility at every turn. And if you watch him right now he's not getting near enough credit for the kind of ball he's playing out there. Not only has he been technically sound and reliable on every snap, he's playing his ass off all over the field.
Right now there is nobody on this Bills team playing with more hustle than Langston Walker.
But we overpad for that scum from the raiders... Marv is so stupid and senile!

QB Stats (Edwards #7)
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/statistics?s...2&year=2008
2 Wins.
Tied for 1st in AFC EAST
ESPN 2 says he is "THE MOST IMPROVED PLAYER IN THE ENTIRE NFL"
Ron Jawbreaker was blasting the experts for jumping on the Brett Farve band wagon and ignoring the Bills...Jaws said "I warned you guys but you just had to do it"
I am real happy....not sure about you guys!
Check out the names of the QB's rated lower then Edwards....
Since somebody has to say it
JP was 11th in the league once
That said lets keep going with Trent (Bill in NYC, that was so you understand i am supporting Trent and not JP.)

Logan Payne has been declared out for the season and Seneca Wallace could be out a month.Their only healthy WR's are Courtney Taylor, recently signed Billy McMullen and a guy named Michael Bumpus who they just signed off the practice squad. Anyone wanna play WR for them?
What about Roydell Williams the ex-Titan? 50 catches and 4TD's last season and he's jobless.
They signed samie parker last week i thought
-
Mcnabb is good enough that when he is healthy, they are playoff contenders o and the NFC sucks overall so its anybodys conference
-
both pretty good. think Beast may have the better.
Beast mode, hes already done it two seasons in a row
Trent Edwards was injury prone
