  1. Watson was outstanding when he played for Notre Dame and then was a 2nd round pick of the Saints. He was one of the main reasons for the great 9-0 start to the Ty Willingham era. He has a big upside, although he has obviously been a huge disappointment in NO. This could stem from his immediate spot in the starting lineup. Maybe less pressure will bring out his potential. http://www.nfl.com/players/playerpage/493108
  2. Quinn started as a true freshman and Tyrone Willingham was an awful coach. Quinn was quoted in SI that under Ty he felt like he wasn't being coached. Please tell me what Quinn does not possess that successful NFL QBs possess. He has all the tools and can make every single throw. You obviously did not watch a Notre Dame game this year.
  3. If we make the playoffs, we will be nowhere near the position to take Quinn. He will be gone by pick 2. As for his potential contribution, he is a complete and polished QB. He has every tool you could possibly want at the postion. [Cannon arm, pocket presence, above average mobility, great decision maker, very smart, will have run a pro-style offense for 2 years with Charlie Weis, leadership, and of course, outstanding character] I am not saying he will be a Pro Bowler his rookie year, but he can absolutely contribute to a team as a rookie. If our QB circus produces a cellar-dwelling team and Quinn is available, he will be a Bill.
  4. How many teams can say that their punter has the second highest jersey sales of all current players?
  5. A smarter coaching staff won't hurt either. I think JP might need a life vest every now and then, but I agree that he will come around this year. A healthier, better schemed defense will also be on his side.
  6. We finally cleared the front of the net. What a gutsy performance with tremendous defense. It is truly Miller Time.
  7. Game is also on Comcast Hockey Live. http://www.comcast.net/sports/nhl/hockeylive/ Go Sabres!
  8. Ted Ginn Sr. is the coach at Glenville. He has attracted players from all over the state and created a pipeline to Ohio State.
  9. I completely agree. We need to see these two beasts on the field to know how our d-line will turn out. Schobel played at a Pro Bowl level last year and I hope our revamped d-line can play up to his level. Obviously, the sick secondary and healthy LBs will only help them out.
  10. If we play like we did the last 2 games, Ottawa does not stand a chance. Also, I agree that NJ is the team to beat from here on out. If they reseeded based on performance, it would be NJ, OTT, BUF, CAR in that order. GO SABRES!
  11. If you watch the play Butler got whacked in the junk and the clip was retaliation. Was it still out of line? Yes, but you have to protect your manhood.
  12. Look at the way Butler reacts. It looks like he got slapped in the junk. On another note, that is some top-notch blocking of a first round draft choice.
  13. Would a bunch of rookie offensive linemen really save JP? I like the pick-ups of Reyes and Fowler. Do I think they will make the line unpenetrable? Of course not, but I feel that JP has enough talent around him on offense for the staff to evaluate his potential as a starter in this league.
  14. The first pick next year will come down to needs, and maybe signability as we saw this year, between Brady Quinn and Adrian Peterson. Two ridiculous talents that will instantly make their teams better.
  15. Kudla went to the Steelers. Too bad, I thought OSU had become our farm team.
  16. Rumor has it we signed FB Derrick Ming from Missouri. Here is a good article on him. http://colts.scout.com/2/514884.html
  17. You have to admit that Youboty and Simpson were absolute steals at the positions we selected them. I agree the OL should have been addressed earlier, but I like the idea of building up the defense. We had such a great defense in prior years that was among the best in the league. Although Michael Irvin would disagree, defense wins championships. Well, hopefully defense will keep us semi-competitive...
  18. K/P DJ Fitzpatrick...Jets LB Brandon Hoyte...Colts OT Mark Levoir...Bears FB Rashon Powers-Neal...Broncos LB Corey Mays...Patriots WR Matt Shelton...Patriots All out of Notre Dame per local South Bend news. Would have liked to see either Levoir or Powers-Neal get a shot with the Bills, but 3 guys seem to be good additions so far.
