Fun fact: coming out of college, Derrick Henry and Von Miller had almost identical metrics…same height and weight, same 40 time and very close on all the other NFL combine tests. They were literally the same guy, but on different sides of the ball.

In the NFL, it can be dangerous to draw a lot of conclusions from one game. The Texans certainly have a lot of nice pieces.

I like the way the Bills match up against these guys. They are, IMO, an overrated bunch, especially “two-time MVP Lamar.” I think the Jets are a much tougher matchup for us.

Has anyone noticed that after these next three games, the Bills' schedule is flat out easy? Of the final 11 games, only three (KC, Jets, Lions) look to be tough games. SF (at home) could be tough but SF are not looking good and they are getting more banged up every week. At Seahawks won't be easy, but that's not a great team, either, and I think the Bills match up well with them. If we can go 2-1 the next three weeks, a 14-3 or 13-4 record is very much in play.

Next year is the last year of Elam's rookie deal and I can't imagine they will exercise their fifth-year option on him. Unless Benford or Douglas gets hurt, I don't see how Elam's going to see the field this year. I bet Beane would be sorely tempted if someone offered a third for Elam, who just doesn't seem like a good fit for this system.

I'm amazed at how ineffective the Giants' pass rush is. They have tons of top-of-the-draft talent out there but couldn't even get a whiff of Prescott. Thibodeaux is a JAG, Burns was barely heard from last night, and Lawrence seems like he's hurt.

Fear not the Ravens. They were barely able to beat this sad Cowboys team.
