  1. Man I'd really like to see Hardy make his way up from 4th or 5th on the depth chart by the end of this year. But with Josh's reliability and Stevie Johnson's emergence, I have a tough time seeing Hardy moving up the depth chart drastically this year, especially since hes coming off a serious injury.
  2. I agree, I think reed is very underrated especially in the eyes of the fans. He's got attitude, you always see him blocking downfield and getting in pushing matches with the other team. Andrew
  3. Hello everyone, I ve been thinking with evans and owens starting, who will be out slot or 3rd receiver? Personally, im hoping its Josh Reed, Trent seems comfortable going to him and hes become a reliable target. When will Hardy be ready to go? Week 4? I think we already know what 6 receivers make the roster...Evans, Owens, Reed, Hardy, Parrish, Johnson (unless Parrish gets traded or cut). Thoughts? Andrew
  4. I couldnt agree more, I just cannot believe it. Absolutely baffling, but hopefully he can turn the fortunes of our franchise around! Go Bills
  5. I really hope cro-magnon Fitzpatrick and neadrethal Marshawn dont "butt-heads"
  6. Anyone else catch their game against the stars? Down 3-0 in the 2nd, and down 3-1 and 4-2 in the third. Great comeback win in a shootout! Go Buffalo!!
  7. Thanks, Dean, that helps. Im mostly worried about a phony ticket, but I feel pretty confident itll be fine as well. Go Bills Go Sabres
  8. My dad and I are making the trip from NJ to Buffalo next weekend. Were gunna go to the sabres game on Saturday and the Bills game Sunday. Is it safe/relatively reasonable to negotiate with the gentleman holding the "Need Tickets" signs? Thanks AG
  9. Any word on Terrence McGee? I hope hes back this week against a tough SD Offense.
  10. i think it says a lot about our front office and draft room when our top 3 corners are all home grown and from either the third round or later. Maybe McCargo just needs more time to develop. wasnt he only thru two years of college when we drafted him?...Look at Yobouty...About two months ago I thought he was going to be cut, now hes looking more and more like he has the potential to be a solid corner in this league.
  11. I dont care who youre playing, any team in dangerous in their own building with their pride on the line, and their fans at their back. I hope we can get out to a fast start and take the crowd out the game with our 1-2 punch at running back!
  12. Let's take a step back for a moment to just appreciate how UNREAL the first three games of this season have been. For a franchise who hasnt made the playoffs since 99, I believe this start is more impactful for a region/franchise/city than anywhere else around the league. I was thinking to myself today...."wow, what a great time to be a bills fan." **knocks on wood** I'm not claiming the bills will win the superbowl, but I hope Jauron keeps this team in the mindset that if we lose our edge and get ahead of ourself, we could go 3-13. This team is fun to watch, has a very likable attitude and team leader, and should have the city rallying around them (much like the sabres from 2 years ago). I am 22 and have endured many heartbreaks, but I am just trying to enjoy these wins as much as possible, but I cant keep myself from being overly excited about this team! Sing it with me......I'VE GOT A FEEL-IN, BUFF-A-LO'S GO-IN TO THE SUPER-BOWL!! Cautiously excited, Andrew
  13. After picking up Favre and Faneca, I believe the jets are going "all in" on this year. If they miss the playoffs, I wouldnt be surprised to see Mangini start talking some serious heat after a sub par year last year. Furthermore,I really like how the bills are lying low with all eyes on the jets and pats. In terms of the media, the pressure is off buffalo, something I dont mind at all. Heres to the Bills making the playoffs Andrew
  14. I have to agree. I haven't seen anything positive from him and he seems to take at last one HORRIBLE angle at the ball carrier every game. Unless his coverage skills are exceptional, which I dont think they are, I think his inability to tackle gets him cut...too bad. Andrew
  15. IMHO JP Losman is a "thrower" and never will be a "passer." I hope there isnt a qb controversy, because I KNOW that JP is NOT the future for the Bills, meanwhile I do think Trent could be.
  16. I was surprised to see him in the game so late in the third quarter, and I didnt see him in the game until then. Last season he made some nice plays, one memorable one against the giants on the goal line in particular, and I became optimistic about his future as a stud DT. However, I am now starting to think the bills dont have very much confidence in him at all, especially since DTs like Jason Jefferson were in the game before him. Anyone else surprised/alarmed? Being that he was a first round pick, it would be a shame to see him become a backup in this league.
  17. "UNDER" and your take on the rest would have sufficed.
  18. Beerball, it is definitely hallowed ground. Many people on campus (I go to school at Gburg College) have claimed to have seen ghosts. I've seen a lot of the battlefields and heard all the crazy, eerie stories. Here is my go at the over/unders.... -14.5 starts for Peters OVER (reports around Aug 20) -8.5 Wins for the bills OVER 9 and miss the wildcard by a game -3.5 ints for witner OVER-better pressure on the quarterback leads to floaters in the secondary -8.5 sacks for Schobel-OVER-interior pressure helps Schobel -1250 yds for BeastMode OVER-1300 -3.5 division wins- UNDER we get 2 from MIA and one from NYJ -15.5 total defense rank-UNDER we finish 11 -Hardy 4.5 TDs-UNDER he gets 4 -McCargo and Stroud combine for 8 sacks- UNDER 7- 4 McCargo, 3 Stroud -Evans 8 TDs - OVER 10 -BeastMode 9TDs-VER 11 -Trent Completion % 58-OVER -Leodis starts 7-OVER, injuries/ superior talent lands him as a starter sooner than expected -Leodis INTs 2.5-UNDER he gets 1 -Trent TDs 19 -UNDER Andrew G
  19. Hey guys and gals, I'm a former lurker and wanted to hear what you all thought about the following over/under ideas for the bills in 2008, it should be fun to look back to after the season is over -14.5 starts for Peters -8.5 Wins for the bills -3.5 ints for witner -8.5 sacks for Schobel -1250 yds for BeastMode -3.5 division wins -15.5 total defense rank -Hardy 4.5 TDs -McCargo and Stroud combine for 8 sacks -Evans 8 TDs -BeastMode 9TDs -Trent Completion % 58 -Leodis starts 7 -Leodis INTs 2.5 -Trent TDs 19 Let's hear it. Ill respond with mine after a couple people go, i dont want to sway anyone. Also, if you have some additional ones that would be interesting, please add. Andrew G
