  1. I doubt it...when I saw it happen live, I knew there was a good chance he didn't get both feet in, and considering how important a play it was, I also knew there was no way Miami doesn't challenge it, regardless of how quickly we get the offense out there.
  2. You mean 6, don't you...D'OH, who was that that dropped that easy pick at the end? Baker?
  3. Well, that's "maybe even the following week". Not necessarily, but it could happen eventually.
  4. There is no possible retort to that!
  5. Don't forget that, even if the Steeler game is meaningful, and we beat them to make the playoffs, there is the real possibility that we'd go on the road (maybe even the following week) to play them in Pittsburgh.
  6. I was ceding a spot to the Jets, but only because it would take a huge collapse down the stretch. The other teams need to falter, but not as much. I guess, given their schedule, that it's possible. Just not all that likely, IMO.
  7. We don't absolutely need the Jets to lose. It would be great if they collapsed, but the Jets and the Bills can both make the playoffs. We REALLY REALLY want the Broncs, Ravens, and Jags to lose next week.
  8. Jason Peters was inactive? I wonder why.
  9. Just kidding. We're all a little too giddy right now, considering even if we did make the playoffs we'd be looking at three road games against quality teams in front of us.
  10. That was just too confusing, so I wandered over to your avatar yet again. I still get a kick out of it.
  11. Does that mean this isn't the official DEN vs. BUF thread?
  12. Isn't record in the AFC the first tiebreaker? If so, and we both finish 10-6, then Denver gets the nod over us based on that.
  13. No worries. It's all falling into place now......
  14. The Broncos must lose two. If we both finish 10-6, Denver will have a better AFC record than us. All 4 of their remaining games are against AFC teams, and right now they are 4-4 against the AFC. A 10-6 finish would mean they would finish with a 7-5 record against the AFC. If the Bills win out and finish 10-6, they would have a 6-6 AFC record. We are 3-6 against the AFC right now, and have only 3 games left against AFC teams.
  15. Today was a less than forgettable day for JJ. I'm sure the shoulder had a lot to do with it, but he hurt us more by being in there, IMO. Penalties, poor blocking...I just don't know.
  16. Granted, the odds are still slim, but the way this weekend turned out, the odds are maybe not as bad as before. Sure as hell is a lot more fun than sulking. GO BILLS
  17. Maybe not...if the Bungles lose at New England next week, they are 6-7 and all but knocked out. Perhaps they won't be at the top of their game when we meet?
  18. I don't care how old he's getting...that one play is enough for me to shell out some bucks for him to keep playing with us another couple of years!
  19. Unless Denver has already lost two before then, then they are out (assuming we win out, that is)
  20. Basically, we need to hope that: Denver loses at least two more (possible, but not that great) Baltimore loses at least two more (very possible) Jacksonville loses just one more (very possible) and/or the Jets lose three of four (possible, but not that great) and, of course, that we win out (which would also eliminate Cincy)
  21. Right now, Denver is 4-4 in the AFC, Buffalo is 3-6. The Bills have 3 games left against AFC opponents, and since we must win out, that would make us 6-6 in the AFC. The Broncos have all 4 games left against AFC opponents. Since they are now 7-5, they would need to go 3-1 to finish 10-6, which would give them a 7-5 AFC record. So, unfortunately, we would also need Denver to finish at 9-7 to get the last wild card. Their games are against MIA, at KC, at TEN, and IND. It is possible they could go 2-2 in that stretch, but I'm guessing not likely. Then again, I've seen stranger things.
  22. Basically, I think it's unrealistic to think the Jets will tank the rest of the season, which means they get one of the two wild card spots. That means we have to beat out everybody else for the final wild card. Right now, we're 6-6. We need to be 10-6. The Ravens and Broncos are now 7-5. Hopefully, if the Steelers can pull it out tonight, the Jags would be 6-6. The real problem is that we lost to both the Ravens and Jags, so we can't be tied with them at 10-6 since they get the tiebreaker. So, both of those teams need to go 9-7 or worse, which means they both have to lose at least 2 more. I don't know the tiebreaker situation with Denver. Would we win the tiebreaker if we both finished 10-6?
