You should never have this mindset. Rooting against your team to make it so that we can get a higher draft pick because "'the odds of us going on the road and doing anything isn't good". You have to get in to make it happen and I would still gladly take the 7 seed to make that happen. Wanting another team to win that would eliminate us with a loss is just flat out stupid

MY mindset is get the 2nd seed.  How did you possibly read into what you quoted & come up with what you did?  I want the Bills to be hungry to get the #2 seed.  I'm hoping they're still as hungry as if they didn't clinch anything yet.  #2 seed means 2 home games vs going on the road to KC in round 1.

  2. I want Jacksonville to win because I want the Bills to HAVE to play for the 2nd seed like their playoff lives depend on it.  If they can't win tonight, what makes anyone think the would go far in the playoffs as a 5th or 6th seed after blowing 2nd seed?  I want the Bills to know it's do or die and play like there's no tomorrow because every game will be do or die the rest of the post season. Toughen them up with a must win mindset entering the game tonight.

I used to watch scrambled porn in my teens with a better picture than this camera angle has.

Back in the mid 1980s we had a small cable company and when snow & ice got stuck on the wiring the porn channel filter didn't work & I could watch it for free. Back then they had full length movies.

  4. Times have changed.  From Super Bowl 1 through XXXIII 1/3 of the Super Bowls were won by a QB who was the #1 overall pick in the draft.  In the 24 SBs from 2000-2023 only 5 of the 24 Super Bowls were won by a QB who was the #1 overall pick.  The % dropped from 33% to less than 21%.

I used to use the data to support tanking.  In 2018 Beane taught me that you don't need the #1 pick to get the draft's best QB, although I still believe your best shot is with a top 10 pick.  Teams that are looking for the next Brady, or even Purdy may spend decades drafting late round QBs with nothing to show for those picks.  Just look at all the QBs the Bills drafted between Kelly & Allen.  It took a top 10 pick 22 years after Kelly's last game to find the Bills next franchise QB.

Shrewd move by both sides especially for Cook who will have a great chance at winning a superbowl now.

Cook does have a great chance of winning a Super Bowl-JAMES COOK.

Will be cool to see a Cook vs Cook AFCCG!!!

Will be cooler to have old man Flacco come to Buffalo for the AFCCG!

  6. Confident enough that I booked a round trip flight from Oakland to Las Vegas on 2/11 that gets into Vegas at 9:30 AM and leaves at 10 PM back to Oakland.  Confident enough to reserve the guest room at my sister's in California from 2/09 to 2/13 and book her to drive me to and from the airport on Super Bowl Sunday.

Not confident enough to book the round trip to Oakland from Albany, nor get a flight to Vegas that didn't enable me to get a credit if I cancel. Not confident enough to buy a game ticket until the Bills win the AFC.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Get ready South Florida here comes Bills Mafia!

Sunday's showdown for the AFC East title in Miami is a road game for the Buffalo Bills, but it may not look and feel like it.

According to VividSeats.com, it projects that more than half of the fans inside Hard Rock Stadium on Sunday will be rooting for the Buffalo Bills. That's a lot of red, white and blue as the stadium holds 65,326 people.

Using the "Fan Forecast" algorithm VividSeats projects that the split of fans at Sunday's game in Miami will be 52% to 48% in favor of the Bills.

I was living in Dansville, NY at the time, well within the 90 mile radius for Bills to black out the game. But the small cable service available in that podunk town was privately owned and the guy was a huge Bills fan. As far as I know, he was never ‘caught’ pirating the feeds and we could always watch blackout games. The star on the top of this was the games never had any commercials! The feed would stay on with announcers rewinding plays to pinpoint aspects they’d talk about when the broadcast resumed OR just stay locked on the Jills fidgeting with their suits (😲)! I had the game being recorded and at halftime my son & I went out to play some street hockey in the driveway. He went back in and yelled out the game resumed and should he kill the VCR? I said “Nah, we deserve this from our 51-3 pasting of the Raiders.”

Well, the rest is history. Everyone I know from WNY wanted a copy of the game for posterity! I was cranking out copies for weeks after!

I used to record all playoff games.  When I got back to Albany after the game, I had requests from people at work & in Buffalo.  I had 2 VCRs at the time, so I was able to make copies locally, then I sent the tape to a friend who had the AV expert at St. Francis HS make tapes for anyone who couldn't see the game due to the blackout.

I still keep the ticket stub in my pocket to prove that I was there

I have the program & ticket stub. I have them in a plastic cover like the ones you get at memorabilia stores.  Back then I used to buy the program before I went into the stadium either by getting it through the fence before the gates opened when the program vendors were within shouting distance of the gate, or I would pick it up at the Bills store.  I would leave it in my car before going into the stadium, so most of my programs are in pretty good condition.  Back then the program cost $3 for a full sized playoff program.

  10. The Dolphins are in the same situation that Baltimore was in with Lamar Jackson. They have to re-sign him.  The difference is that Tua most likely has an agent & will want things done sooner than Jackson.  Either way, Tua will get a long term deal within the next 2 years & remain the Dolphins QB.  This is nothing like the Daniel Jones situation where the guy didn't play well enough for his 5th year option to be picked up & the team made a mistake re-signing him.

  11. Happy Birthday!

I've been to 3 Bills games on my birthday.  The 1st was in 1982. The strike had just ended and I was leaving Buffalo in December, so it was significant because it was not only my birthday, but my last Bills home game as a WNY resident.  I've also been to Bills games on my birthday in 1993 & 2004.

Why? Go outside. Get a Haircut, change your oil, Cut your nails, wash your dog... plenty of other way more productive things to do... Can you tell me WHY you watch it? Im genuniely curious...

I'm allergic to foliage, I only get a haircut once every 2-3 months in the middle of the week when no games are on, the car dealer changes my oil once a year, I cut my nails in the morning out of the shower when no games are on, no dog, etc.

I watch it once in a while to see what may be future NFL players.  The Dallas Cowboys got their kicker from the USFL.

Years ago I went to a UFL game in Connecticut just to see what it's like.  It was fun.
