“It’s becoming all too commonplace to see everyday citizens performing necessary functions for our democracy being targeted with violent threats by Trump-supporting extremists," Jones said. "The lack of political leadership on the right to denounce these threats — which serve to inspire real-world political violence — is shameful.”

    Scumbags do that crap.

She probably considers herself a patriot

Looks like another person added to the long list of people who wrecked their lives by their devotion to Trump. Trump will be encouraging more violence as the legal process continues, with more of his followers lives wrecked.

Now consider that Independents are the largest single voting block. Republicans have screwed themselves with their unending devotion to Trump. They can’t win with Trump and they can’t win without him.

Yep. It’s so easy too. Don’t like something? It’s fake news! A Republican did something heinous? Well that’s a CIA/Fed operative. Trump gets a fourth inditement? Just tell yourself it’s the Deep State keeping him from running!

Cults provide easy answers so their members don’t have to struggle with uncomfortable truths. Trump never lost, etc… If Obama or Biden faced the same charges Trump is, we all know Fox and MAGA world would be chanting lock him up every day. Yet Trump can do no wrong in their eyes.

Breonna Taylor was a problem situation but at least someone involved was actually a real criminal. You really think someone should be raided for making inappropriate jokes? You are quite the fascist

Death threats against any person is no joke, or an extremely sick sense of humor. My only point is that law enforcement using excessive force has been an issue for black and brown people forever. It’s a legitimate topic to discuss reforms to police/FBI procedures.

  6. Insurrection: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

So they were all just tourists who wanted autographs from Pelosi and Pence? If Trump had not spoken to them, and had not pushed the big lie, would the same events of that day have happened?

  7. Law enforcement tactics using excessive force is a legitimate topic for debate. It’s been a sporadic problem at the local, state and federal levels. In the end, law enforcement is often put in horribly dangerous situations and they understandably want to be the ones who get to walk away at the end. That’s not a blanket defense of excessive force but it’s the ugly reality. It also doesn’t help when cops know any crazy person could be armed with assault weapons.

If Trump didn't exist, the dead man in Utah would be alive.

He's less than collateral damage to Trump.

You’re right. At times, I wonder how many people have died or screwed up their lives due to their devotion to Trump. Countless dead from not taking Covid seriously, over a thousand dealing with legal consequences from J6, so many family members who won’t talk to each other, the woman killed on J6, this guy, attorneys and associates in prison, many others facing pending legal charges, etc. He’s the only politician in my lifetime who is literally toxic to those around him or who believe in him most. And Trump doesn’t care a whit about any of them.

    Unfortunately, young voters are stupid

And many thought the iPhone would never succeed. It doesn’t really matter what your opinion of them is. They are the future and they will be shaping this country according to their values, just like the generations before them. The Republican Party can change or become a minority party that can’t win general elections.

And the lefts nationalism, is globalism.

"Corporatism became one of the main tenets of fascism, and Benito Mussolini's fascist regime in Italy advocated the collective management of the economy by state officials by integrating large interest groups under the state, which is a combination of crony capitalism and state capitalism"

Like huge state stimuluses vs actual demand.

"Supply-side economics believes that producers and their willingness to create goods and services set the pace of economic growth while demand-side economics believes that consumers and their demand for goods and services are the key economic drivers."

Corporatism is certainly thriving in America. From massive tax cuts, state tax deals to attract business, government bailouts, being considered “people” by the Supreme Court and the breaking of labor unions, corporations rule America.
