  1. If you’re bringing a cricketer into the discussion, I would counter with Joe Dimaggio. 9 rings in 15 seasons, and that’s with losing years to WWII. And if you bring up Federer, you’d have to include Rafa and Novak. Im also ready to die on the “Joe Montana was better” hill, buts that’s a different discussion. God speed Tom, and go eat a cheeseburger.
  2. It was during pro bowl week in Hawaii. It was a meaningless officially sanctioned NFL event and it essentially ended his career.
  3. For that third question
  4. Exactly. This isn't baseball where you can buy your way out of problems. At least the Rams got productive players for their picks.
  5. Also, every year that he won a SB the Pats or Bucs has an elite defense.
  6. It's either the Browns or the Bengals.
  7. He'll be in Ohio before the day is through.
  8. Last time, he "retired" to get the Bucs to release him so he could go to the Dolphins. Now, he's a FA and could go anywhere.
  9. Because people are going to ask this, he's a backup OG who didn't play a snap against the 49ers and isn't on the injury report. I know it shouldn't matter, but...
  10. In 201 yards passing. Sounds like short fields to me.
  11. Can at least take Payton’s spot in the studio.
  12. That was the Bucs D-Line that crushed him. Mahomes was sacked 3 times and threw 2 picks. Brady had nothing to do with that.
  13. Robert Edwards blew out his knee playing flag football on the beach.
  14. My response to everybody is that the last time I checked, I didn’t play in the game. So I didn’t fail.
  15. If the QB position was uncapped, guys like Mahomes would have infinite value. How much do you think Jerry Jones would pay Mahomes in an open FA market. $200 million? More? I have no idea, but it would be a lot more than $50 million.
  16. He’ll start somewhere.
  17. Not just a rookie contract. He’s a seventh rounder. His cap hit is under $900,000.
  18. He grew up as a Steelers fan
  19. That’s the second time that “playing with an edge” cost the Bengals in a key moment. First time was when Vontaze Burfect hit on Antonio Brown and the second was that hit on Mahomes. That team has been playing with its hair on fire since the Halloween loss to the Browns and they finally got burnt.
  20. Watching other fans celebrate is worse than watching your team lose. I know. I lived in Indianapolis when they won.
  21. Cincinnati is going to be a living hell for the next two weeks.
  22. Lots of respect to Mahomes for playing through this. He’s in obvious pain.
  23. Easy for you to say. You don’t have to live there.
