  1. With old DB rules and green light to hit QBs (especially late) Brady wouldn't have had such a healthy carreer.
  2. I thought of exactly that play, it could have worked.
  3. Fitz had the 1st with an out pattern with Decker. Goes deep with a bad pass.
  4. The QB sneak was also bad when you already tried it twice before. They were waiting for it. Manuel or the OC should have called it differently there.
  5. and to win against NE you have to score TDs. Marshall drops a sure TD, Pats will win this one.
  6. Watching some games right now, all PI flags coming from the ref watching the DB from behind. We get !@#$ed by the one that should have thrown the flag to the LT that held Hughes.
  7. I repeat, the ref throwing the flag can't, in a million years, see if the DB committed a foul.
  8. Glad you're ok Bill. sad you had to endure another tough loss.
  9. Unfortunately, it worked perfectly for me....

  11. Without a phantom PI, we win the game. EJ sucking or not.
  12. Worst of all, the guy facing the play threw the flag, not the back ref. No way he's in a position to see the foul.
  13. it is, and it's been working fine so far.
  14. The Bengals rarely blitzed and with 6/7 guys in mostly zone coverages dared a young QB to make good decisions and precise passes to beat them. I hated some of EJ's passes (int included) but all in all wasn't a bad performance. Maybe he could have called more draw or delayed runs to catch the LBs by suprise. Both EJ and Tyrod are still inexperienced and that is a fact, they need time and most of all, a much better defensive performance.
  15. Me too and I agree, I don't see him changing his stripes. How many times did we hear him say he's not going to change who he is?
  16. Hue Jackson as HC/OC with Schwartz as DC.
  17. Excellent post KzooMike. Schwartz was smart enough to put his guys in position to make positive contributions to the defense. Rex Ryan is trying too hart do put his stamp on this defense that he's losing sight of what is best regarding the talent he has at hand.
  18. And yet, you need to be patient with young QBs, something we, as a fanbase, are not.
  19. They pulled two guys and only one had to make a block for the play to work. All the D was swallowed up on that one.
  20. Only when they don't like said QB.
  21. I did, and was lambasted last week and the week before.
  22. Let's talk about EJ's play objectively. He was not great, far from it. He threw the ball short on some 3rd and long situations, that can't happen, which brings me to: He needs to step into his throws and trust his reads, the protection was there most of the time. He can't take the grounding penalty that pinned the team back in our endzone. What is amazing is that for some reason, we can't have none of that, it's like this was EJ's 50 start in the league and he can't get better. Like Tyrod, he's still a young QB, wish he would let it rip more, like he said he would.
  23. Matt Cassel? LOL.
  24. that drives me !@#$ing nuts. We look clueless and dumb on defense. Bullies, yeah right.
  25. no gameballs today
