I agree. I think the article is citing "veteren leadership" or something like that but c'mon now. He's not a BAD player, but he definitely doesn't fit the 3-4 scheme. He's a back up 4-3 DL at best. yeah...um the offensive line was not good. the interior maybe was ok, but the tackles were awful. I don't want to blame them totally, Trent's gotta get rid of the ball faster and take a few chances and make the recievers make a play. He can't just wait to get open, he has to understand that they are gonna have to fight for the ball at times.

I know this board hates Mort, but c'mon...he's totally right about Buffalo and as far as the NY Jets go - it IS ok to fire Mangini because they made great personel moves on and off the field and almost went to the Super Bowl. If Tebow is there in round 2, you take him. This team needs a leader. The guy is heisman trophy winner, a two time BCS Champion and is considered the best college football player ever. Why would you not take a chance on this guy? Because he has an "awkward throwing motion"? Please. Tell me VY or Philip Rivers doesn't have an awkward throwing motion.
