  1. Hopefully not a cover for lack of talent......
  2. Don't be surprised if the Patriots sign him.
  3. Yes - but Drew Rosenhaus is his agent, so expect controversy and a class-less public negotiation.
  4. Exactly and that's what happened last year. KH became less effective as the year went on.
  5. Not yet. He is also the backup punter now.
  6. As I have said before, this board is filled with funny stuff. Nall is #3 unlees one for the other two gets hurt or traded. JP will be the starter. Bank on it. Bet the ranch and you neighbor's ranch too.
  7. Well you've really buried yourself with this one. You don't like him hiring Jauron? Maybe Marv should have hired one of the many succesful former NFL coaches that were availale. One of the guys with a Super Bowl ring or two that were sitting there waiting for the call. Who might that be? Who better was available at the time Malarkey stepped down? I've had my fill of rookie head coaches cutting their teeth with the Bills. You can wind the clock back to Kay Stevenson, Hank Bullough and also remember that Wade Phillips inherited a decent team. They all failed to deliver. Kudos to Marv for getting a head coach with some experience.
  8. This board is filled with great entertainment.
  9. I think that's German. Must be an NFL Europe fan.
  10. I think Gates ends up as the #2 RB. Don't think the A-train has it in him.
  11. Let's see how he looks after 2 preseason games.....
  12. Right on! I don't think we can expect that in the offseason JP suddenly became a much better QB. He's got to play in order to get better. Heck, we haven't even seen any pre-season action yet this year and we're trying to make judgements on early training camp reports? With all of the changes the Bills team has gone through in the offseason, expect them to play some bad games early in the season and expect whoever is QB to look bad in some of those. Getting a running game going is the best thing they can do for the QB.
  13. 80-1? I would have guessed 200-1 would be the betting line.
  14. Exactly 5 hours before 1:00 game start. Open a store in front of the Ralph!
  15. Couldn't agree more. Besides, if the Bills have a horrible year and head into next year's draft wanting a QB, that's a huge setback. Better if JP progresses this year and the Bills use their first round pick on a different position, like Offensive or Defensive line.
  16. They cut through Mass to avoid the horrible New York Traffic. Or, with the left front headlight out, they couldn't see well Or, the impact with the deer caused the GPS to malfunction And of couse the deer kept running, thus removing the evidence or lack thereof............
  17. Exactly. The whole competition thing is a big smoke screen and the Bills are selling the whole competition thing well. JP clearly has the best talent and upside and they want him to earn it. It'll make him better and more respected by his teamates. JP's got to stay healthy to earn it. Kelly is a terrific backup, not only in terms of his ability to step in and efficiently run the offense, but also in terms of his attitude. He's a class guy that is comfortable in that role and won't upset the applecart if he doesn't start. Nall is an unknown, but Green Bat let him go easily without a fight. With Favre aging and Rogers very unproven to date, you would expect them to make an effort to retain a guy that has been in their system if he had shown them some upside. Nalls injury hurts his chances to be #2.
  18. Don't be shocked if the Bills pick up a D-lineman or two after the last cuts. Could be a vet or two available that can help.
  19. The difference is enough to support 1 additional baby momma.
  20. Well if he was arrested then I suspect he didn't have the gun legally. At this point he's less than the average Joe being a recent college graduate who is still unemployed. And yes this event could make him famous. So many of these young athletes are a bunch of turds. They grow up watching star professional athletes that do it the right way and see so many examples of doing it the wrong way, yet many can't figure it out before they screw up themselves.
  21. Absolutely ridiculous for a guy who has yet to play a down. Can't belive the owners didn't try to address the rookie salary structure in the new CBA. Where do these owners all get the money necessary to buy a team? They don't appear to be bright enough to have earned it outside of football with the exception of a few.
  22. Michael will pay her a bunch to settle this. Prostitutes are much cheaper. You're not paying for sex, you're paying for them to go away when it's over.
  23. Yes, such lengthy posts remind me of negotiations I've been through where the other side just wears you down. You get to the point where you'll agree to anything including much that you have never heard or read.
  24. I really hope you're right. The agents cause the holdouts because they want to use the contracts of comparably drafted players as comparisons in their negotiations with teams for the higher picks (1st round). Until some of the picks get signed, they don't have the data they need to negotiate for their player. Nobody wants to go first. Players hurt themselves by not getting to camp, but if you're a first round pick you're not getting cut. This year will be more complicated because the salary cap rose somuch over last year meaning last year's numbers are no longer good comparisons. I think you'll see more holdouts past the opening of training camps this year and when players do get signed, the numbers (for guys who have yet to play a down) will be outrageous. The agents for first round picks have to be salivating. Yes, the Texans look pretty smart right now.
