  1. My mouth is just salivating at the thought of having Freeney on our defense.
  2. You're right. It is speed vs speed. That's exactly why I like our chances in the run game. If the defense over-persues, and they will, the Bills can take one to the house. It's a lot easier to push a guy down the field that doesn't out weigh you by 50 pounds.
  3. The running game I think the Bills can run on the Bears. The Bears are a lot smaller on the D-line compared to Minnesota. Buffalo matches up better against Chicago. Look for Buffalo to run early and often on Willis' favorite side. The left side. That's where smallish DE Alex Brown resides. I expect #21 to break a couple of twenty yarders on Sunday. The passing game This is the match-up that scares me. Ogunleye always has big games against Buffalo dating back to his days with the Fish. He will be going against our best, Jason Peters. If Peters can shut down Ogunleye than he deserves Pro Bowl recognition. Tommie Harris is a beast. Alex Brown is a speed rusher. Gandy moves well so he might be able to limit Brown's pass rush pressure. Buffalo must avoid the temptation of using trick plays on that speedy Bears D. They will make us pay for it. The Bills will have to pound the Bears with the ground game and mix in a little bit of play action as well as some bombs to have a chance for a win. The Panthers used this very same strategy in the playoffs last year when they beat Chicago at Soldier Field. If the Bills get down by 10 early, this game can get ugly.
  4. I blame it all on Wierd Al. Keep living that "Amish Paradise".
  5. Yeah, it's down. I can't get on either.
  6. London Fletcher isn't the lead blocker on kick off returns anymore. He mad a huge impact on that unit the last two seasons leveling people with devastating blocks. I believe the Bills have two returners back there instead now. Peters might not be on the return team anymore, either.
  7. and passes to the TE's? I know the Bills already attempted a few bombs this season but we are not connecting on them. One would think that with the success that the running game has had thus far it should be easy to connect on some long passes. The TE's was used more in the pre-season as well. If the Bills can incorporate some of those things into the offense the Bills would be awfully hard to defend.
  8. Of course the Bills will be better with Brees at QB. Maybe even a playoff contender. JP Losman is still a year away. Just give him some time.
  9. Don't forget the hot read TD toss to Parrish as well as the sideline pass to Parrish. Those were awesome passes.
  10. eventual return of Spikes the Bills can turn this thing around and start beating some people. I love it when Roscoe gets some touches. He is like electric in the bottle. I would also like to see him return some kicks. McGee needs to concentrate more on being a DB. I think Terrance can make the Pro Bowl as a lock down defensive back. TKO will provide some much needed skill, experience and leadership as well to an already talented but young defense. Now if the Bills can just take the Miami game plan and duplicate it in future games sprinkled in with a little bit of chunkability and this team can be a force to reckon with. One thing is for sure. I am enjoying the ride. Go Bills!!!!
  11. I always thought that not being noticed as a CB was a good thing.
  12. It's bad karma crap like that that makes me sick. Everything is going great turnover wise the first two games of the season and then some A-hole has to come around and say some jinx sh*t like that. I hope your happy. Where's that FU thingy at???
  13. Folks, folks, folks...You got it all wrong. The Bills never really did rebuild under TD. Yes, they did cut loose a few vets and they were on their way to rebuilding up until they signed Drew Bledsoe. After that they began to fill the roster with free agents such as London Fletcher, Jeff Posey, Takeo Spikes, Troy Vincent, Lawyer Milloy, Chris Villariall, Bennie Anderson etc etc etc. That isn't rebuilding. That's called retooling. You rebuild the way the Bills are rebuilding now. With draftees and young free agents. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against signing veteran free agents. I just think the timing was bad. The Bills needed another draft or two before they went shopping for free agents such as the guys I've stated above. One example of the timing being bad is what happened to Coy Wire when Lawyer Milloy was picked up. Coy Wire's progress was hindered to the point where he is only good at special teams now. During his rookie year, in which he played a lot, he showed a lot of promise. Who knows what kind've player Coy would've become if Lawyer never came to Buffalo. What would've come of Aaron Schobel if the Bills would've signed a free agent to take his spot? This year is refreshing. I love the fact that the Bills are finally, truly, rebuilding. Building towards something special, I hope.
  14. You got it all wrong. It was ME!! I am the original mush. Due to rain, I missed Buffalo's second touchdown and the 53 yard field goal. the game was 17-7 when the game resumed and the rain ceased. It was all down hill after that.
  15. Who picked Minnesota??? I wasn't even gonna list that game and then I decided to put in the whole schedule for those pessimists out there.
  16. Buffalo's special teams!!!! BTW. I did mention it was a sentimental pick, didn't I?
  17. QB's Hasselbeck Roethlisberger RB Alexander Bush Thomas Jones Chester Taylor WR Owens Boldin Hines Ward Chad Jackson TE Crumpler Heath Miller K Vinitieri D Pittsburgh Buffalo
  18. How about placing him on the PUP list for the first six weeks?
  19. Do you think Tasker will get peoples' names and numbers right on this one? No, seriously. I can't wait to read it.
