  1. every team does that
  2. why would they?? you dont cut a guy because you draft the same position in the 4th round
  3. I like Golic but he actually said at the start of the program today that 7th round picks are expected to contribute who the hell is drafting a 7th round guy and expecting him to contribute, most of these guys are lucky to make it on the practice squad
  4. ESPN's coverage gets worse every year, they spend so much time jumping around that they miss the point of just covering the draft was the begining of the second round really the place to do their Tags salute. Its the second round, a lot is happening and they are talking to the commish not to mention all the technical difficulties they had yesterday
  5. Yeah, I noticed that too. He couldnt wait to bash the Bills when the McCargo pick was made. He was actually glowing and was begging for attention from Kiper what a tool
  6. wow some valid points, glad you decided to Chime in how about next time you try and put some thought into your post and not try and be mr cool funny guy
  7. Im not saying Denver offered anything tough guy, I was saying Denver was someone who obviously wanted to move up. Guess you couldnt figure that out maybe you should just go read Dr Suess....I am Sam, Sam I am
  8. thats the problem with eyeballing a single player would it have been better for the Bills to trade down, pickup another second rounder and draft someone else if Whitner wasnt there wouldnt you have been happy with Bunkley or someone else and an additional second round pick? no one is talking about workout warriors or mock drafts here, we're talking about making good football decisions. Trading down and drafting someone else while picking up an additional second or third round pick was the better move even if Whitner wasnt going to be there and dont say no one wanted to move up because Denver obviously did think we all would have liked that extra pick yesterday
  9. I didnt want Lienart but other teams.....didnt want Whitner at 8 either. Marv and company eyeballed a single player with the 8th pick and thats a mistake I have no problem trading up for McCargo and Youboty was a nice pick in the 3rd round
  10. by the way its nice to see Im not the only Flyers fan around here. I am a casual hockey fan but this is turning into a very enjoyable series to watch especially in High Def
  11. I am actually knowledgeable enough to form my own opinion, just because you cant doesnt mean no one else can you probably have no idea who any of these players are anyway
  12. I wasnt big on taking a TE early but Leonard Pope would have been a nice pick for the Bills there too Youboty is a good value pick in the 3rd round, think he was rated as a second rounder Clements, McGee and Youboty coming in the nickel is a nice combination
  13. it actually is a nice value pick...think he was graded as a second round pick
  14. no O-lineman on the first day guess they think the guys they signed are good enough no TD...same draft mistakes, this team needed O-lineman before any other position
  15. ugh I just had a flashback to Todd Collins being picked for some reason
  16. I have no idea, I guess if they go O-line Max Jean-Gilles would be a good pick I was hoping Spencer would fall to this pick
  17. the second round pick the Bears got was higher then the one the Cowboys got, doesnt equate to a first but they didnt have to drop down as much as the Boys did
  18. he was grading everyones draft up to that point...pretty obvious when he ment
  19. not saying thats what I want them to do, just have a feeling thats where they are going to go Bills really dont have anyone behind Flecther to play MLB
  20. I honestly dont see the Bills going O-line in round 3, I just dont see it for some reason I am thinking LB
  21. WRONG the Bills drafting Whitner at 8 was a bad decision, thats my opinion I unlike you can form my own opinion
  22. what I hate is blind loyalists that are not knowledgeable enough to form their own opinion you probably said the same thing about TD and every move he made.....how did that work out the only person making an ass of themselves today is you
  23. what does that have to do with Philly fans?
  24. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/5552252 N.C. State defensive tackle John McCargo could be the third Wolfpack defensive lineman selected in the first round if the latest rumblings from scouts hold true. McCargo has a rare combination of quickness and strength at the point of attack. Considered by most to be the clear third defensive tackle behind only Haloti Ngata and Brodrick Bunkley, teams might not be willing to allow the disruptive McCargo to slip out of the first round. A starter in 29 of his 30 career games, McCargo averaged nearly a tackle for loss (29.5) per game played. Ohio State strong safety Donte Whitner continues his ascent up the draft board. With only one year of full-time starting experience, Whitner earned comparisons to former Buckeye All-American Mike Doss. Scouts are even higher on Whitner than Doss, however, as the 5-10, 204-pounder showed rare athleticism with a time of 4.40 and a 40-inch vertical jump at the Combine. Though he manned the strong safety position with the Buckeyes, some see his speed and instincts as an indication he could easily transition to free safety. In fact, some feel Whitner is athletic enough to even become an NFL corner.
  25. I believe that is incorrect
