  1. i think it's all a hoax that she writes her own stuff, or at least, these whiz bang producers take her base songs and make them into fully produced songs with slick instrumentation and arrangement etc. there's also the way she has been marketed as a "punk kid" with that ridiculous tie deal, especially when she's a suburban chick from canada. Avril doesn't have much of a voice or guitar skills. you can't deny that. yes, they are all production, even aguilera, who is the only one that has super talent, as in her voice. jessica simpson has a decent voice, but one would hardly call her really talented, imo, beyond her ability to play the blond sex bimbo to a T (which i guess like britney and her catholic schoolgril shtick for a while is some sort of talent, though not musical) and yes avril is a much tamer version of alanis, a completely ripped off version if you ask me, which is why she seems so derivative imo.
  2. Wait....now I'm cornfused am i supposed to do my cousin or Princezna? which one will get rid of the flashbacks through their magical sexual healing powers? it wouldn't fair to either to two-time
  3. that's because she is. just because you enjoy her music doesn't mean she has any real musical talent. she can strum three chords but so can anybody really. her music is produced and arranged for her by talented producers. she is a production, a product IMO
  4. uuhhh, yeah, DUH. wtf? dude, you're a dick, 4 real. marv says jump, you say how high..!!1!
  5. There's lots of "atta boy Marv" comments strewn through the threads. The general consensus seems to be he swung a good deal. edit: also, FYI, http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=62092
  6. Great idea! A cure! She's definitely cute. I won't even have to her since she has all her teeth! PRINCEZNA :wallbash:
  7. Yes, it's rather absurd to say that Marv had no input in personnel decisions in those days, considering how Polian has been quoted as crediting ol Marv for a lot of his football acumen.
  8. at the moment we actually have three: a-train, shaud, and fred jackson. i would not be surprised to see a chris brown signing. i expect, though, that we will wait till the draft to add another RB.
  9. yes she is. i'm thinking of course of the scene where they steal the RV back. and i get what you mean about the largeness of their characters. They are the two poles of the series, if you will, the kids fill in the space between them. they do have a lot of room to develop.
  10. yah, true, i've been watching "The Riches" and it has potential i think. i liked the 2nd episode better than the pilot, haven't watched the 3rd one, tivoed it last night. i like izzard, minnie driver has maybe an overexaggerated accent but she's okay, and the kids i think are well cast.
  11. kinda, sorta, mebbe it was more of a poke in the ribs towards that poster but it was obviously poorly executed on my part.
  12. Thank you, Beerball. I've had flashes of general confusion ever since I was forced to watch an episode of "My Little Pony" as a kid when I was at my cousin's house. Forget the Acid flashbacks. There's nothing like being in the grips of a "My Little Pony" flashback. Foaming at the mouth and a need to apply moisturizer often occurs during one of these seizures. Not a pretty sight, i must say.
  13. I wasn't supposed to let the cat out of the bag. Dr. Phil is announcing his sex change operation later this week.
  14. Fiona Apple is hot and talented. The last person to be on this list. The most overrated celebrity is Dr. Phil, the antichrist incarnate, and whoever they churn out of the American Idol machine factory each year.
  15. exactly, they're going to go over him with a fine tooth comb.
  16. Ol' Creative Marv!! :crosses fingers: That would be frikkin rad, imo.
  17. You're not supposed to read my posts! i guess i just mean getting three picks for him, instead of just a 2nd, for example. it seems like they went against the standard trade grain and maneuvered for more picks instead of one, but this is obviously just pure speculation and a hunch on my part.
  18. LOL, no, don't think we'll get a 3rd. A 5th sounds about right. I'm just curious to see whether we can wheedle a slightly more advantageous trade than one might expect by being creative, as I think we did with McGahee.
  19. It certainly makes sense, but that's the problem: a Willis pick is just too obvious.
