  1. The one refreshing thing to come out of this whole topic is you get a behind the curtains view of the people you have such a common ground with. Now I'm not saying one subject such as this encapsulates a persons entire being but it does get you thinking and reacting on a whole other level. I don't visit the PPP board as I come to this site because this is where the "best" Bills fans can get there fix. I'll leave you with this and it's is just my opinion: I have a brother who has served since 1997. He's done countless tours and is still serving as a Major in the USAF. The members of this board that comprise that fraternity I thank you endlessly for your service. Some of us who have never served can sympethize as I bet they had a close family member or associate STAND for this country. You don't have to be a color or creed to appreciate the freedoms we receive in America. There are thousands who come by boat, caravan or run all night to get a glimpse of freedom and opportunity. Everyone is right, cause it's an opinion. He has the right to say and do what he wants. But I don't have to like it. And all of the people pounding your fists for equality and the suffering of others, I truly hope you practice what you're preaching and not just trying to argue a point. There are a lot of injustices in this country. But what has he done to improve and better the lives of those he obviously cares so much for? I'll wait and see if he decides to use his platform to further the oppressed.
  2. Could not disagree more with you. But your right to an opinion.....
  3. He got pushed around pretty good and seemed to do the same old dance out on the edge with the RT. The comments about him not being able to disengage seem solid. But he's probably waiting for the regular season to turn it on....
  4. Watch the film from last year. What a difference a year makes....and stop over exaggerating, no one called him the worst player.
  5. Again, not talking about the fans perception. I get that of he opens the season with 3 sacks its a non-issue. Im just telling you what the word is in So Fla.
  6. Who's talking about the fans and what they think? I am talking about media comments made from his struggles in practice and remarks made by NFL GMs during the off season.
  7. Not when you are on a new team, new system and are coming of a year remembered for basically quitting on your team mates. I respectfully disagree.
  8. Yes, completely lost as well. Remember he didn't play in the WIDE 9, was injured that year under Schwartz.
  9. That's sort of my point....why say anything? Just stick with he didn't live up to his potential in the off season and we are happy with our roster behind McCoy. But they constantly insert foot to mouth and I really don't fault Rex, he's always been a bafoon. Whaley just needs to worry about the personnel and cap functions.
  10. He's mentioned quite often down here and not in a positive light. The whole defense is apparently already mumbling under their breaths regarding the WIDE 9 they are running. It puts tremendous amount of strain on your LBers and Miami is very deficient at that position.
  11. People give Belichek a ration of crap for being sullen and not saying much at the press conferences and to reporters. But this is why, so you don't have to look stupid and retract statements after the fact. Our FO has a lot to learn, just shut up and play ball.
  12. Boy do you root for the wrong franchise then! It's like an ongoing SNL skit with pads and helmets.
  13. Apparently he came back to camp weighing 5 lbs more than when he checked in for spring. Was the same issue at FSU, tons of talent zero discipline. Such a shame, kids a great athlete.
  14. What's the status of Listenbee?
  15. my fault, i will turn up the sarcasm meter.
  16. Dude, we are already screwed....have you not been following the latest preseason shenanigans?
  17. Paging Jadeveon Clowney.....time to answer the bell.
  18. Does anyone speak Jive?
  19. I don't doubt it and can see the upside, especially where we took him. I'm just leery of our management and coaching when it comes to this type of QB prospect. I'm a huge FSU fan and didn't like the EJ pick, even Fisher told pro teams he would need 2-3 years on the bench to grasp the speed. And he played in a pro style offense for 4 years. EJ is very intelligent as well. From what I've read on Jones, that's not really his strong suit but could be a positive that he's that raw. Not a lot of bad habits..... Now I'm talking myself into liking this pick!
  20. My mistake, thought the topic was Jones.
  21. Believe Jeff George did as well. Another rocket for an arm.
  22. You're twisting my words. 1AA ball?? Where does that come from? take a step back for a minute and look at the big picture. A franchise with a terrible track record of drafting and developing QB talent just picked the biggest wild card player in the draf at that very position. I'm not trying to tamper everyone's excitement but it's hard to get behind this pick.
  23. When? From my account he was 3rd string guy after Barrett and the converted QB/WR, drawing a blank on name. He started games in 2015 and was replaced by Barrett. He's just very raw. Would have liked for them to take a more proven guy earlier on, especially round 3 where there were a few guys. I would love to be proven wrong but history is not on his side.
