  1. From everything I've heard or read, the general consensus is no. He will NOT attempt to play again
  2. Most NFL GMs don't see Losman as a starting caliber QB
  3. I've ridden to work many times and here is my trick to not stinking 1 - Shower before your ride 2 - Keep your heart rate under 135 (don't hammer - you'll only get there 5 min later) 3 - apply deodorant and a 'tad' of cologne at the office
  4. Isn't this the first year the Bills could theoretically be allowed to change their UNIs by the league. I'd vote for the throwbacks -or- I like some of the ideas here: http://www.billszone.com/jjamezz/billsunissite/otherd.html
  5. I think we're OK at WR #2. Josh Reed barely dropped a ball all year and Price earned his keep for the game winning catch against the Texans.
  6. I beleive Rhodes and Chris Brown are about the same. Together they would make a great "running back by committee"
  7. erynthered, you are obviously an angry little man who leads a bitter little life. When not posting one of you 8.9 messages per day to this board, you probably sit around all day being bitter at the people and institutions that have wronged you in life. Your only joy in life is probably fondling your teenage stepdaughter after a hard day of work at the screen door factory. How's that you moron? PS - are you one of these Internet trolls I've heard about?
  8. There are no need for personal attacks here erynthered. Just because I have an opinion doesn't make me a moron.
  9. It's a perfectly good analogy 'erynthered'. The guy who built my house 20 yrs ago has played a part (i.e., laid a foundation) in my financial success because without him I wouldn't get a good night's sleep to go to work to get that promotion - but do I owe him anything? If the old players have such a cut and dry case then why don't they just go and sue and claim the millions of dollars they clearly deserve? Because they have no case. If anyone feels strongly about supporting the old players they should open up their own wallets and donate some money instead of sitting back and telling others how things should be. I'm sure Donnie Green would appreciate $300 or $400 and I'm pretty sure you all can afford it. (qeue the sound of crickets chirping.........chirp.........chirp.........chirp.........chirp)
  10. not beyond what they signed up for at the outset. A fireman can't go back 30 yrs after retirement and say "today's firemen have such killer pension plans, give us more money too"
  11. Also, being a pro athlete has inherent risks that everyone knows about prior to enlistment, just like being a cop, soldier or fireman. The family of a fallen soldier can't sue the US Army because their boy died in combat.
  12. If said company held a gun to my head to work for them I would sue, else I would scold myself for being a fool. If the old players can state their case and convince the league to "do the right thing", then fine. It's like me giving some $$ to my drunk uncle because he's on hard times, but I certainly don't think the ex-players are "entitled" to anything.
  13. That's different - what ENRON did was illegal. (1) If my company gave me lung cancer because they had asbestos in the walls would I come back 30 yrs looking for money? Hell ya!! (2) Would I sue a ski slope cause I broke my leg skiing on their hill? Hell No!
  14. AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!! Nobody held a gun to these older players' heads to choose football as their career - they should take accountability for their actions. I'm sure they weren’t complaining when they were scoring all the chicks and being recognized on the street and driving the fancy cars. If I retired from my company tomorrow they could either (a) fizzle and go bankrupt or (b) become the next Microsoft - but if they became the next Microsoft you can bet I wouldn’t come back 30 years later looking for a bigger piece of the pie - because I helped lay the groundwork? I know – I’m a heartless guy, but hey, that’s me.
  15. I wonder if old Bridget "forgot" to take her pill once she sensed Tommy boy was on his way out? It seems odd you date someone for 3 yrs then this happens. Anyone heard any gossip on this? Enquiring minds want to know.
  16. Best combo - you mean after Boldin and Fitzgerald, of course
  17. He was a solid 3/4 yard short. He bounced then rolled up towards the first down line after he was down though
  18. The blackout gets 500-2000 more people to go to the game so the revenue increase is the ticket sales. I've wondered though whether or not there are local businesses who paid for advertising they dont get. I'm also pretty sure the locla sports bars get less business
  19. I normally hate remakes because I feel like I'm gonna know what happens, but the Marky-Mark remake is different enough from the original. I recommend it!
  20. Losman is still not getting national respect, on the SNY channel last week Jets Homer Ray Lucas said Losman didn't prove anything because he was 10 out of 15. .....but, concerning some of these commentators who last year claimed "JP will never be a good starting QB in the NFL", you can start to see the look of dread on some of their faces when they are forced to talk about the Bills. Of course, in the future they'll try and just pretend they were ever agianst JP, claiming instead.......this kid really came outta nowhere.
