I love this news but the ankle is a funny thing.  My son broke his a few years ago and the initial x-rays were negative; after the swelling went down they did an MRI and found a fracture.  Just too many little bones in that area.

If it’s only a sprain, well, thank the baby Jesus.

Unless it’s a high ankle sprain. That can sometimes be worse than a break with all the ligament damage

This is so sad. A wonderful road trip to see his Bills beat the Dolphins ends like this. Hope the investigation finds the shooter.

Part of the reason I've learned restraint is because of the number of crazies out there who think they're in an action movie and will just start discharging a firearm with no regard to consequences.

I used to be the guy who would not back down from confrontation, even if there was a fair chance of getting my azz  beat.  Fortunately, I've had a more sensible wife to calm me down, and I sure don't want her in the middle of anything.  I walk away.

As Falstaff said, 'sometimes, discretion is the better part of valor'.

    Prayers for the family.

It's the absolute appropriate strategy to have these days.  Now, let me preface this by saying this isn't a judgement on the 2nd amendment, but it is very easy to obtain and carry a firearm.  As a result, you have no idea that the person you are arguing with or fighting with is packing and, as you mentioned, has no real understanding of the consequences of trying to settle an argument with a gun.

Jalen Ramsey is 0-6 against Josh Allen.

“I think [Josh] Allen is trash. I don’t care what nobody say. He’s trash. And it’s gonna show too. That’s a stupid draft pick to me,” Ramsey said, months after Allen was taken with the No. 7 pick by the Bills. “We play them this year, and I’m excited as hell. I hope he’s their starting quarterback."

The first interception resulted in the ball ending up at something like the Miami 8. The second resulted in a touchback. The fumble - which was more down to Torrence/lack of support from Morse - saw the ball recovered at the Fins 27. As infuriating as they were, none of the turnovers left the defense in a near impossible situation to recover. Indeed, the worst position was the turnover on downs in the fourth (Miami 37).

Ironically, the fumble indirectly lead to 7 points instead of 3.  If Allen doesn't fumble, they bring out Bass and The Dolphins get the ball back after a kick return at their 25.  The fumble may have amped the defense out to get the Fins to go 3 and out, which caused the punt and the rest is history...

I don’t get it   Josh saw the blitz coming.  You could tell by the presnap calls.  So why not dump it out quick to the hot read?

this is how you can tell someone has never played football. What looks like time on the field is literal seconds in real time.  A free rusher destroys a play. No chance.

The Bills are in big trouble if their plan is to try and make Shakir a number 2 receiver.

A first or second round pick must be spent on a wide out this upcoming draft, and he needs to have speed

No.  Money needs to be spent on a quality #2 receiver.  We're too far into this version of the team to be spending picks on "possible" WR2s.  Unless Marvin Harrison Jr. falls into their laps, they need to find a way to find some money to bring in a true WR2 this offseason.  It'll have the added benefit of showing Diggs that they are serious about winning and taking pressure off him so he can perform better.

Bills have to draft 2 WRs next draft imo. They need someone to step into a #2 role right away and another WR that can step in for injuries and perhaps replace Diggs after next year.

I still need to know what's going on with Diggs. Is he hurt? Is it scheme? Is he dogging it because he wants out? I'll tell you that he gets up to play Ramsey so we'll see.

I keep thinking I'm on crazy pills because I saw a tweet that was quickly deleted from one of the Bills beat writers remarking how "amazing that Diggs catch was considering the condition of his shoulder".  I think the team is covering up a Diggs injury that he's playing through because, like Tyreek Hill, he's still a very effective decoy if he's on the field.

  7. As many have said, Brady's been an improvement over Dorsey but not enough IMO to warrant being gifted the OC role.

I still see some of the same issues persisting from Dorsey's time (lackadaisical effort from Allen at times, poor WR play, weak O-line against the pressure) under Brady which makes me want a new voice in the room.

We desperately need a WR#2 though.  Open the vault for Higgins or find a Waddle-like player ASAP during the off-season.  No gambling on this with Draft Picks unless Marvin Harrison Jr. falls to us.

  8. I guess I'm in the minority that I'd like the league to do well so players who get "missed" by scouts and coaches get a chance to show what they can do.

More people finding work doing what they love is never a bad thing.  Hope it succeeds and provides a decent football viewing for during the NFL's offseason.

Though it annoys me that Michigan's name is "Panthers".  The UFL should avoid all NFL team names and brand themselves uniquely.

No fanbase hates their qb more than this one.

Decades with incompetent play and an amazing player comes along and now 5 straight 10 wins or more and maybe the playoffs five years in a row...

and what does the fanbase do.  Nitpicks completion percentage in the cold.

I am always amazed how many here dislike the guy.

I just wonder how "new" some of these fans are...like if the REALLY remember the villain's gallery of sub-par QBs that followed Jim Kelly and really understand how hard it was that Buffalo FINALLY found a franchise QB.  Like they grow on trees or something.

Josh Allen is singlehandedly the best thing to happen to this franchise in 25 years.  If you've been here long enough, that's not even a questionable statement.
