Nothing to gain? First, she's a hero to her tribe. Second...do you know how much she's going to get for interviews and speaking engagements? Third...what do you want to bet this is her entry into politics. Probably a House seat.

Your lawyers paid for it, and you didn't check the itemized bill. All of this is such ambiguous bull **** that I can objectively justify just about any statement made. There's no resolution to be found here.

Yes, attempted assault. And it's still just he said/she said. But I refer to her as a "rape victim" simply to defuse the inevitable fallacious "You don't believe her" counter-argument. It moves the argument away from true/false to criminal justice and due process, which is where it belongs.

That can be rape. I know guys who've been convicted of rape for just that.

Probably not. You don't generally recover that quickly from reliving that trauma, either. But it is ALWAYS difficult to accurately judge a rape victim's behavior. It's highly individualized. As I once told someone "You're not screwed up, you're normal. You were assaulted; If you weren't impacted by it, THAT would be screwed up."

As someone who's sat through a few rape testimonies, that's not an uncommon presentation. That's not how it works. You don't "get over" sexual assault.

She could have heard them hitting the walls. But "pinballing" is an odd choice of words. But that is a professionally written message, not a personal affidavit.
