  1. That's kinda my point. Seems like every time we play these guys lately they thrash us and we get horribly banged up. I think it's at best 50/50 for a dub.
  2. They should have brought in more proven weapons for Josh long before 2023
  3. Didn't Julio look pretty washed last year?
  4. And you're positive that some hypothetical random late round WR rookie was going to automatically become a starter?
  5. I don't disagree with this assessment. I also think they should have brought in at least one more big-time FA receiver back when Diggs was still here.
  6. Putting the Jagwires down as a W, when they have been physically kicking our asses the past few seasons is certainly bold.
  7. Dunno. Maybe the strategy would have been different if Nostradamus had told him ahead of time that his biggest off-season WR free agent acquisition would be out for an indeterminate time with a semi-fatal toe injury, one of his anticipated free-agent WR signings would be gone after a fatal toe injury, and another would be folded up into his autobot/vehicle form on an awkward hit. There's only so many draft picks / roster slots to go around. Bills injury history with positional group clusters is wild (DB & LB last year, WR and S this year).
  8. Well his 40 time is only 0.03 seconds slower than you-know-who....😇
  9. Shakir is fine in the slot. Where he'll be 60-65% of the time anyway.
  10. Yes but the point is, you can't know in advance what position group is going to be hit with a cluster of serious injuries all before the 2nd preseason game is in the books. Also, maybe they looked at what was left at WR in the draft and concluded that there wasn't anything there that was likely to help us more than the FA cuts that will be available after cutdown day. Dude.
  11. Were you pounding the table in the 2023 draft to pick up extra LB, because you knew we would be hit hard with injuries there?
  12. Maybe after the Chefs cut him we can grab Kadarius Toney and send him off to see the Wizard to get a brain transplant?

  14. To give JJ a coronary?
  15. Maybe strive_for_five_guy was just referring to the room itself, as opposed to the occupants? Decorated in contemporary jock, with a touch of saucy bling.
  16. Naw, they'll just pad it out with commercials to the usual 3:15.
  17. Chiefs just lost Hollywood Brown for an indeterminate amount of time, I believe. But they'll be fine 'cuz they have a really fast 145 lb guy.
  18. Quietly. Extremely quietly.
  19. What would y'all offer the Cowboys for Cedarian DeLeon?
  20. Somewhere the Cigarette Smoking Man is smiling.
  21. Well I think it's cool. Maybe your folks were just setting you up to "Go Bragh!"
  22. Downright compelling stuff. A must watch. Three thumbs up.
  23. Briefly when I got Covid. But it came back in a few days. Was a good excuse to finish all the sus leftovers in my fridge since I couldn't taste em anyway.
  24. It's about the 1000th time this exact same scenario plays in my head with respect to Thud Brown: me: "Thud, that is the stupidest thing you have ever written. There's no way you'll ever top that one." Thud: "Hold my beer..."
