    Bears v Vikings

    Browns v Texans

    Saints v Bengals

  3. Struggling to find a video link from today's presser. Anyone come across one? Checked various Bills related websites, message boards, NFL dot com, and the local networks. Coming up empty.

Apologize if its been posted and I overlooked. If anyone has a link - kindly send my way.

    Much appreciated.

  4. You folks were awesome last week with recommendations. Could really use your assisatance again this week.

  5. So, there are only four other colleagues left in the league... and all four have one loss. (You can buy back into the league once after the first loss; which is great because they all had to and that built up the pot.)

I have NO losses - and I'm trying to keep it that way. I do not anticipate this league lasting very much longer.

    Still thinking Green Bay!

Anyone know which QB is playing tonight? Teddy? Ponder?

  6. Fellow Bills fans - need some help with this weeks Survivor Pool. Here are my choices - ones highlighted in bold is where I am currenting leaning:

    Home v Road team

    Green Bay v Vikings

    Cowboys v Texans

    Lions v Bills

    Titans v Browns

    Colts v Ravens

    Saints v Bucs

    Giants v Falcons

    Panthers v Bears

    Jags v Steelers

    San Fran v Chiefs

    Redskins v Seahawks

    thoughts?

    appreciate your help.

  7. Just checked out the new Bills store. It was the first time checking out the store and seeing the improvements around RWS.

It's so hard to be negative given such a positive week but I am not impressed w the changes at the Stadium.

Another $100M was needed to refurb the exterior of the stadium. Lipstick on a pig as it stands now. No way Pegula is going to dump additional dollars into this location after spending a record $1.4B for the team.

With that said - went to pick up some new Bills stuff. I liked what I saw just wish they had Large and XL left in Bills jackets shirts etc. Inventory is very low in the store and they do not anticipate a shipment before Sunday! So plan accordingly...

  8. Anyone else growing to really like him?

If I'm WGR management, I fire Schoop and the Bulldog and replace him with Sal and a former player---like a Darryl Talley---for the 3 pm show. I know what you're saying--but they'd need a hockey guy for hockey season. I haven't heard one on at 3 in a long time so what does it matter. I get my fill from the morning crew.

Anyway, as someone mentioned today here, Schoop is an absolute joke. You can trash certain things our local teams do (actually for him its never the Sabres--at least nowhere near as hard as he does the Bills). But he trashes them just to trash them. There is no insight, there is just EJ EJ EJ EJ. Remember when he used to go by the whole "sports talk for smart people" crap. Back when he endorsed Rob Johnson over Doug Flutie. The WNSA days.

Today the moron started his show wanting to talk about the USC player who lied about saving his nephew or something....and Schoop turned into a TEN MINUTE monologue about how when he was in 3rd grade he told this crazy lie to his teacher. End take. That was it. And I'm so sick of his "I need something interesting to talk about" crap. Find something idiot! There's a ton to discuss that matters to us fans. Don't troll us for callers. I'm so freaking done listening to this clown.

Back to Sal...really appreciating his work on the radio. He brings good balance and insight. Puts things in context and perspective--criticizes what needs to be criticized. But he manages to do it in a way that doesn't make you walk away hating life. Like Schoop seems intent on doing.

I think Sal is great with the callers to. My one criticism of him would be to talk slower---but I'm assuming he's Italian, he's from NY, maybe Catholic, so the fast talking would make sense. I envision him using his hands a ton.

So kudos to you Sal..I think you're doing fantastic and I'd put you on that 3 o clock show in a second.

Hope the WGR higher ups realize it.

    Agreed.

Schoop has no clue or substance regarding sports. He is there to simply rock the boat and boost ratings.

I used to really enjoy Bull Dog - he is great when he is not influenced or working with Schoop - because we all know; including Bull Dogg - you cannot have an intelligent conversation or anything indepth regarding sports because Schoop has no comprehension or clue.

That's why he goes off callers - so easily - because he cannot be challenged.

I would be ok with Sal and Bull Dog together.

But you're right - a change is needed.

I would be willing to bet - once Pegula takes over the Bills - we will see something like the Empire Sports Network come back... Pegula will not want to deal with the losers at Entercom.

It amazes how poorly run Enterom is run in Buffalo; while in Boston - they are doing a great job.

  9. Some of you may not agree with this approach but with Bon Jovi and his media team (ESPN, NFL, Kraft, Jones, Jaws) ramping up efforts to promote the Bon Jovi and Canadian Investor bid - we cannot sit idly by and risk putting the future of the Buffalo Bills in the hands of Canadian investors. We need to reach out to Mary Wilson by submitting letters to the editor to Grosse Point newspapers - the town in which Mary Wilson lives in Michigan.

The sale of the Bills is so complicated that it's wise to take declarations with a grain of salt, including Jon Bon Jovi's group saying it won't relocate the team. And for that matter - Bills fans have been on pins and needles for years; constantly hearing about threats of the team moving to LA, Seattle, London and Toronto. Bills fans have been loyal for 54 years; and it is time for the Wilson trust to give a Buffalo friendly group the opportunity to own the team. We know Pegula will put up a competitive bid - but is the Trust being coerced into accepting the Bon Jovi bid?

Selling the team to a Toronto based group is a slap in the face to all Bills supporters. It is important that we match this Bon Jovi rhetoric with our support for a local owner.

Please submit your letters to the editor of the Gross Pointe News by following this link: http://www.grossepoi...lettersub.lasso

Please send emails to the following people at the Gross Pointe Times: gdemers@candgnews.com; dwallace@candgnews.com; kmoran@candgnews.com; sshanley@candgnews.com

Anything you can do to help the cause is appreciated.

    thanks

This approach might do more for the cause rather than the relentless number of new posts here on this message board questioning fans whether they will support the team when Bon Jovi secures it...

  10. Please don't compare Boston traffic to Buffalo traffic.

Also... Now 190 isn't an interstate. It's been a few years. They took down the red white and blue signs?

I laugh at people in WNY when they discuss traffic. Try living in a real city (like Boston, NYC, DC, and so on)... where people sit in real traffic every day.

The city with a 20 minute commute does not know traffic.

  11. Talked with Bill Polian last week on SiriusXM NFL Kicks and asked Bill two questions:

    1) Do you think the Bills will stay in WNY?

His response: Bill said that the Bills will stay in WNY though the duration of its lease with Erie County but would not really comment beyond that... He did add:

If the NFL even tries to move an existing team outside the United States - you can expect powerful politicians in Washington to begin sessions on pulling the NFL's tax exempt status. He said there is no chance that the NFL will fool around with that and that the Bills will likely stay put.

    2) If the Bills stay, where should the Bills new stadium be?

His response: Although Bill loves the sight lines at the Ralph - it's time to build new. He said Buffalo should build a new stadium anywhere north of Orchard Park and specifically mentioned the City of Buffalo or Niagara County. He mentioned that the stadium in its current location is stuck in a snow belt and that the new stadium must have a ROOF.

Always interesting to get a national perspective on the Buffalo Bills.

It's critical that Buffalo get this right. This is a huge decision and it is paramount that we get this located in the right area - with as little corruption and behind the scene deals where a select few benefit. This decision is bigger than Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz - he needs to keep his mouth shut regarding the existing location and let the true powers that be (new owner and Cuomo's hired experts) find the right solution.

    go bills!

  12. Important date to remember: November 4, 2014. Election Day. If the team is sold before this date - I would assume it is to a Buffalo friendly buyer.

No way Cuomo will allow the team to be sold under his watch to a buyer with relocation intentions.

NY State will come thru with the funds to construct a new stadium - mark my words. Cuomo can kiss any and all political aspirations from Albany to Washington, DC should this team get sold to any unfriendly Buffalo buyer.
