  2. You and me both. This is not the best candidate, but he probably comes at the best price. Thanks Ralph.
  3. Ok, well there is a former nfl coach in town. At least we have a former nfl coach in town close to OBD.
  4. I can't say I'm ecstatic about this, but hey, at least we have a coach now.
  5. I respect your response and your stance, and the facts are there that his numbers were better in the second half. I too believe he should have started the last two games, no question about it. I never said I expected JP to "light it up" like Big Ben, quite the contrary. I expected bumps in the road but I expected to see improvments and consistancy as the season progressed. While he did have some good games, including the houston and k.c. games, he seemed to have a pattern of playing good one week and bad the next. I appreciate the intelligent response and I'll give him next season ( i hope the coach does too) to make my final judgement.
  6. When your record is 1-7 in those games, and you struggle to toss over 100 yards, you can tell a few things about a player.
  7. Good point. JP has made enough mental mistakes so far to warrant an assumption that he will not end up being a good quarterback.
  8. Yes lets trade a solid running back for a 37 year old quaterback who led the league in interceptions last year (behind a better line than ours).
  9. While I'm excited this may lead to the hiring of a coach with some previous head coaching experience, I don't think Mularkey got a fair shake in all of this. I think he's taken more than his fair share of criticism, and he's too caught up in all of it right now to think clear enough. But if he really went into this meeting with the intention of quitting, then I say good riddance and good luck Mike.
  10. Exactly. Whats all the excitment over a guy that lead his team to the playoffs one time in his five years there?
  11. If we could have only lost that game to the Chiefs, one in which we had no business winning. That number 2 or 3 pick would be sooooooo within our grasp. Go O-line all 7 rounds baby.
  12. He sort of reminds me of Kenny Davis. Not saying he's anywhere near as good, but the burst he provides on some of those third down runs reminds me of Davis. He looks faster than Willis, thats for sure.
  13. And they made sure to say that throughout the game. Donahoe hypnotized the folks at ESPN long before he came here.
  14. Did the '85 bears take this long to stop someone on third and one? If not, I guess there goes our shot at being rembered as one of the great defensive units ever assembled. Damn.
  15. 1. Change the name of the stadium to Ralph Wilson-Donahoe stadium. 2. A secret volcano layer in the shape of his own face, where he will devise his evil plans to create a mediocre Bills team in 2006.
  16. This has been a wonderful season...............................................for me to poop on.
  17. Buffalo Bills Football. Feel the Excitement!!
  18. I'm still looking foward the the "speed burst" we were supposed to see from him this year. He's pretty much been all talk this year and I hope he comes ready to play next year. Even with a line like ours, you've got to be able to break one every once in a while.
  19. Well I understand Moulds may have made a mistake in not getting that first down, but he made a lot of great catches tonight. He's a true #1 reciever, and when he's gone I dont know who will fill the void. Certainly nobody on this current team can, so are there any free agents?
