  1. I started posting this weekly at the beginning of the year. The way that Fitz and Freddy are playing I almost hate to see Brad on the field. Still if we get ahead we might see Chan use him in a new way. I think he is due for a big reception this week. Thoughts?
  2. Micheal Silver wrote an article for Yahoo sports saying that Darren McFadden is the best running back in the NFL. The guy he compares him to is Adrian Peterson. He never even mentions Freddy. Not to take anything away from those backs but come on. Give Fred his due. Did you see the blocking he did against the Pats? Lining up as a wide receiver and and icing the game in the fourth quarter? Running over, through, and around people? He went head to head with McFadden last week and owned him. Being a great running back mean more than running the ball. There isn't a better all around running back in the NFL than Fred Jackson!
  3. Any predictions. He made some good runs for first downs last week and held on to a deep pass that looked wide open. I would like to see a reverse. Fear the Beard OK, I changed my mind. A flea flicker to Fred
  4. I'm in! My wife won't like it but I'm good until The Bills are eliminated from the play-offs. Fear the beard!
  5. I don't think Merriman has been holding back but you are right about the last play of the Raiders game. I think he will still be a force.
  6. I agree with putting heat on Brady but I would like to see Merriman and Barnett set Welker up for an ambush. He is the guy that scares me. Let him catch one then pound the #*&! out him. I don't want him crippled just scared and dazed. He is TB's security blanket. Rip his "blanky up" in front of him and then its a whole new ball game.
  7. What do have to say now Raiderjoe? You need to bow down to Fred. Good game. Give it to the Jets next week:) I will never bet against Fred!!
  8. Here's your chance to predict how Chan will use Brad this week. I think we will see a variation on something they did in the pre-season. Smith lines up as a WR on the left side. Runs and end around for a hand off from Fitz, then passes to Spiller or Parrish. You gotta shake things up and set up the Pats for next week.
  9. This will be a tough game tomorrow but I think the deciding difference will be the home field advantage. Bills fans are hungry for this one. Most of us remember how cool it was to be at the stadium back when the Bills were a power house. Nice fall weather, a sold out crowd, and a team we can believe in will make tomorrow at the Ralph special. I wish I could afford the trip and the ticket. The Raiders don't have a clue what it is going to be like in our house tomorrow. I still remember the Raiders playoff game where we ran all over them. I sat in the third row by the Raiders bench and someone threw a perfect snowball that bounced right off of Hostelers helmet at the end of the game. He was pissed and started to come into the stands:)It would be great to see the Raiders sent home with their tails between their legs again.
  10. I missed the post where someone guaranteed a win?
  11. Ok Raiderjoe, You have been having fun talking a good game on our site this week. I have enjoyed reading your post (except for the awful spelling and grammar errors). I will mail you five bucks if McFaddin has a better game than Fred. That's a subjective qualifier but I am a man of my word and will honor the spirit of the bet. You are a good fan of a good team but this week, on our field, our team, The Buffalo Bills, will win. I will PM you my address on Sunday:)
  12. I bet Freddy out runs McFadden in this game. Fred Jackson is a man with a chip his shoulders and I have a feeling he knows one way to prove his worth to the rest of the league is to out play McFaddin. I will never bet against Fred.
  13. That third down and two play that he made was one of the best three yard runs I have ever seen. Fred is the man! He would not be denied. Three Chief's had him and he still made it. He delivered a bouquet of Flower's across the first down marker:)
  14. I noticed the same thing when I watched replays of last years games recently. I would add Donte this topic. Both were always in the neighborhood but rarely knocked on the door when it came to making plays. How we play against the run tomorrow will be a big indicator to how this season will go. If we can contain the run we have a chance to play with anyone, even "the team that will not be named".
  15. I would add that we aren't throwing away the first three games of the year thinking Trent Edwards was still a QB.
  16. That was brilliant. Now I can face Monday with a smile on my face.
  17. I like our QB's and hope we get real creative with them this year. We have three decent QB's, not great but good. I think we should throw to Parrish, Spiller and Chandler from the wildcat a few times a game. With our O-line we need to keep Defenses off balance. I was pleased that we drafted for defense and skipped on Mallett.
  18. It will be interesting to see who plays where on our O-line. I like many of the changes this off season but the o-line situation seems like a cluster#*%$. It least it not as bad as last year.
  19. Nice Interview. Lee left with class and says nothing but nice things about Buffalo. I remember meeting him at his first training camp, he signed a mini football for my daughter. He never deserved the trashing he got by some on this board. I wish him luck.
  20. We need to let Fred Jackson run the ball and put together a real offensive line. Develop "Big Mike" into a D-lineman and don't get cute. Spiller and Smith can provide enough trick plays.
  21. I know a lot of people think that the Dolphins are much better than the Bills and might take the division this year. Bull! The Saban love fest reminds me of when J.J. went to Miami and the press went on and on about how great the fins were going to be. We all saw how that turned out. I was at the Fish game at the Ralph last year. It was only close in the end because our dim wit coaches let the Fish back into the game. We beat Saban and his Dolphins with last years coaching staff and no TKO. Fast forward to the game in Miami. I know it hurts. By the end of the half we had buried the Dolphins. Again, bad coaching let the fish back into the game and we lost one that we never should have lost. We easily could have sweep the Fins last year with the worst Bills team in recent memory. We had better talent than the Fins last year even though our coaches lost their minds, our o-line couldn't get out of their own way and our QB's were put in no win situations. I know they haven't played yet but I think we have improved this years team. How could you not improve. The Fins aren't better than the Bills. With a little luck and some better coaching we can sweep the dirty, sinkin, rotten, pathetic, fish this year. The Pats look more vunerable than they have looked in five years and the Jets have more question marks than the Bills. Have hope fellow Bills fans. I know its a long shot but we could be looking at a competive season for the first time in a long time. Go Bills!
  22. Now I miss Moulds even more! A hit like that will make your brain bleed. Sorry I had to say it. I'm glad Bruschi has recovered.
  23. Looking at you user name and when you signed up for this board I'm wondering if you don't have a close personal connection to Mr. Nalljava script:emoticon('') If you do, tell him I'm rooting for him. Four years on the bench behind a legend seems like the perfect way to develop a QB that surprizes everyone. All this team really lacks is a little talent and leadership at the QB position. We haven't had a QB that a defense was scared of since Beldsoe was first here (until defense realize they could paralyze him with a little pressure). I know o-line, o-line. I think a couple of smart plays by the QB would help our new line out alot. Anyway my money is on Nall. I'm saving this qoute until he leads us to our first playoff game next fall. Then everyone on this board will realize I should be the Bills GM.
