  1. They keep making it a story about Verse and the Eagles fans but he went to HS at Central Columbia about 2 hours from Philly so he’s basically a Philly Native. I actually watched him in HS while I was at a D3 college and he was maybe 220 pounds tops at the time. You could tell he was a very good athlete but Central Columbia at least on the night I watched him used him very sparingly as a TE on offense and he was fine on defense but not a game wrecker by any stretch. I thought he was going to end up as a D2 PSAC kid with a chance to go FCS. Danville HS ended up crushing them that night. Followed him on twitter just to see where he would end up and never cared again till he ended up at FSU. He is the true definition of a late blossomer and a product of strength and conditioning and college development
  2. I can’t believe he dropped as far as he did. The whole mock season he was my # 1 DE. He was right there with Turner with all the pundits then like 3 weeks before the draft he started plummeting into the 20s and I started questioning myself on what the hell am I missing or what’s going on with him. Guy is just a pure stud
  3. To me they’re going to take a CB with one of those top 3 picks. Revel makes sense in round 1. I like AZ Thomas from FSU but he’s another guy who played a lot of man that you would transition but I think he’s a better overall prospect than Elam when he came out but I wasn’t high on Elam at all
  4. Oh nice I’m from a small town called Cohocton , NY an hour south on 390 if your not familiar
  5. My house, by myself. It’s the only way to do it for me. I’m from just south of Rochester but live North of Little Rock Arkansas now
  6. Not to go off topic, but as an FSU fan, not getting a chance to play for the title in 2023 irks me more because that FSU defense shut down Daniels, Nabers, Thomas amongst other 2025 draft picks Will Campbell and Mason Taylor etc 2 years in a row. They didn’t have Jordan Travis but they had the best defense in the country in 2023
  7. I honestly think after all is said and done that he will be a top 20 pick or at least before the Bills pick. There is just too much going for him imo to go late first early 2nd imo. It wouldn’t surprise me if he ends up in the top 15
  8. Put some air under that Goff my god.
  9. Its not an NFL rep, in playoff football the NFL assigns alternate referees to the games in case of injury to an official
  10. I will find it interesting to see if the Lions can maintain their success after Ben Johnson and Aaron Glenn take HC jobs elsewhere. Their situation kind of reminds me oc Clemson in College football. Swinney was winning national titles with Venables and Scott and then they left and went elsewhere and the program dropped off. I'm kind of wondering if the same will happen with the Lions as to who was really the driving force to their success. Campbell or the assistants.
  11. I mean Bates was open by 10 yards. Doesn't come much easier than that.
  12. This defense had no chance against a hot team. The Lions could have scored with the Commanders tonight but the turnovers killed that possibility.
  13. Man Commandos are gonna pull this off. Detroit's defense is done for and the offense has turned the ball over way too much.
  14. Quan Martin the Safety for the Commanders who got the pick 6 was one of my favorite prospects in last year's draft. Didn't really do much as a rookie but has really come on as a player with Dan Quinn at the helm.
  15. Aaron Glenn about to lose that Head Coaching job the way his defense is playing
  16. This is why getting the 1 seed particularly in the AFC is vital because the conference is 3 teams deep and then some other dangerous teams
  17. There was penetration for sure but that ball came out super low barely over the Line.
  18. Karlaftis beats the TE and RB in a millisecond. Just awful effort.
  19. The last couple of sacks have been on Stroud my god get rid of the football
  20. Its a catch ball gets pinned while left foot is on the ground and then right foot comes down and the ball never moves after that.
  21. The Bad offensive line and lack of weapons have caught up to the Texans. I thought their defense played really well today.
  22. Saw that Tre Harris accepted his invite but he isn't on the official roster unless I'm just completely missing it. I also think its smart for Sanders to play in this game because he has 3 of his WR's in this game who he already has a rapport with so naturally he should look better than throwing to a bunch of guys he never has.
  23. Twice, the Texans let unblocked Chiefs come right up the middle on 2nd and 3rd down. I get that they are blitzing more guys than the Texans have to block but Stroud or the staff or the Center has to have everyone block down in those situations and turn loose the edge player not the guy coming right up the gut. Stroud almost made a ridiculous throw on 2nd down and if they had blocked it correctly it probably goes for a huge gain and possibly a TD. Then on 4th down if you decide to go for it how bout take the Timeout and get your team settled instead of rushing them to the line and snapping it in a hurry with 1 on the play clock. Small things are costing the Texans in this football game that has nothing to do with the referees.
  24. That’s not what I mean. It’s his biggest game this week. Let’s say the Bills fans win, then they lose to the Chiefs or in the SB people will still be calling for his head especially in a close game where every decision can be scrutinized. This is only his “biggest game” to prove himself until the next one just like the NFL has had 4 game of the years already with the Bills
  25. It is until the next week where fans call for his head
