1. I went with stay the same, because I believe I'm realistic when it comes to JP Losman's performance this year. I expect a QB rating between 75 and 80. 3000 yards passing and another 400 to 500 rushing. He will throw the same amount of TD passes as Interceptions. We will lose a game or two because of him and we will win some because of him.

I, for one will not be disappointed if JP plays like that this year. In the end I still have hope for a playoff berth. Mainly because of the D and special teams and last but not least a great season from #21.

Wow. If JP were to accrue these numbers, the Bills would be a LOCK for the playoffs. His numbers aren't as important as his command of the offense and how well he leads. Having said this, I feel good about JP and hope he grasps the nuances of playing his position, learning from his mistakes and earn the respect from the talent around him. Command and leadership are the two biggest assets a QB can possess, IMO.

  2. i agree with that........

but they also drafted greg jones in the 2nd round last year and alvin pearman in the 4th this year......not to mention they have toefield as a backup as well.........henry trade could happen, but i really don't think the jags will with their current depth at the position......even if taylor isn't healthy right out of the gate, it's a long season and having him healthy down the stretch is much more important.......on top of that, they made a large financial committment to taylor just last year and i doubt they are ready to give up on that and eat the remaining signing bonus.........i don't think the jags have any reason to panic.......

Expectations in Jax are pretty high. I don't think running Jones and/or Pearman is what they envision as a tandem worthy of such expectations. They need someone proven. Whether that's TH or someone else is left to be seen. I believe, ultimately, this is where TH ends up.

Having said this, I'm not one who holds Jville in such high regard with or without FT or TH.

  3. I too would would much rather see Travis go to the Titans. Jax is going to be tough this year. Tenn is going to suck. Higher draft pick and a muc less likely chance the Bills coud possibley have to play against him in the playoffs.

I just don't see Jax being much better than a .500 team. To me, very blah. I bet Fisher finds a way to match the win total of Jax this year. If Taylor can't go and they don't acquire TH, they're in trouble. I'm not impressed with their WR's and besides having a nice set of DT's, I'm not that impressed with what plays behind them. They play hard for Del Rio, I just don't think they're that talented. I guess we'll see. <_<

  4. Point taken. I've responded to a few of those but realize it adds nothing to the forum. We can find other things to post about during the football off-season. I've received some complaints.

Let's stick to regular fair and balanced news stories from Fox News.  <_<

I'm glad you brought this up. Though I've reluctantly shared my promiscuity with you all regarding "dogs" and "pigs", I have to admit I've lowered the hammer on many a "fox". Just for the record. RELEASE THE HOUNDS!!!

  5. Actually, if I recall correctly you are on borrowed time as a troll in this forum- were you not involved in what proved to be a nefarioulsy false attack on a Bill's fan that proved to sound the death of another troll insect buddy of yours here not long ago? Making references to the BS that got your hivemate booted might not be an intelligent strategy, but hey- don't let me interfere with you hanging yourself- I'm no fan of trolls with poor manners!

Now let's see if I can make this any easier for you since you so rudely interrupted my conversation with another Bills fan here about the lack of accuracy in calling the current Pats a "Dynasty", an application that contradicts the multigenerational basis of the word.

I've asked you the simplest of all questions, a verifiable and quantitative question about the incredibly tight scores in your championship wins- can you name even ONE of the 15 instances of consecutive NFL Championships where the winner was less convincing in victory than the Pats have been?

Go ahead and scream and cry about how unfair my conversation with other Bill's fans is, the reality is it merely points out how difficult your struggle was in grade school English. But do carry on, I realize your kind can be awful noisy while you molt!

I applaud your most poignant post, AKC. <_<

  6. Well my one mans opinion is your an idiot for labeling us Sox fans as anal and idiots. Not all fans are the same. Yes there is a few in every bunch that are complete idiots. Every team has a few.

Ahhhhh....wwovince. Nice to hear from you. I see you took the bait. You seem to be quite a frazzled individual. A staple in most NE sports fans. Thanks for not disappointing. You were right on cue to pounce. Now quick, get back to the board. Someone else might be trying to.....GASP.....crush your empire.

  7. I don't even know where to begin. I left Buffalo in my early teens. Lived in CT 18 years and MA the past 8 years. For my time in Ct, I don't think the Hartford Courant even knew the Pats existed. You primarily read about the Giants and Jets. CT likes to be mentioned in the "tri-state" area. Anyway, the Pats were never a blip on the screen. I move to MA and get deeper into the "belly" of New England sports and it just isn't pretty. The radio stations are the WORST. If it aint happenin' in Boston, it aint happen'. I love living in New England, but when it comes to sports, it can be unbearable at times. I CLEARLY find Sox fans to be more anal than Pats fans, however. I find most Sox fans to be idiots. Sorry. Just one man's opinion.

  8. Are you kidding me? With all the drama going on in Miami with Ricky, new coach, #2 pick, and coming off a 4-12 season you dont think that ESPN's going to be all over them? They have been, and will continue to be. And by the way, it's a poll, not a pole. A pole is what your wife uses at work. See, that's a cheap shot.

    <_< That's hysterical!!!

  9. On one of his live albums, Harry Chapin introduces a song by saying he wrote it while he was staying in Watertown, NY. When the audience politely applauds, he responds "That's more than it deserves. I spent a week there one afternoon." But he came away with one of his best songs, "Mr. Tanner."

That would be a good name for one of the cats. But not the one in the middle.

    358777

I call the one in the middle "The Incredible Mr. Limpet"

  10. They serve a purpose - I can bring them into the bathroom with me. Can't do that with my computer.

I like them for the schedules and the quick reads on the other teams. I usually pick up one which stays on the shelf under the coffee table for reference during the season.

    358888

True. Plus, think of the savings on toilet paper. Read, wipe then flush! :D
