Felt the same way about Edwards demise, though that is more of a family thingy, but I could never like the guy. The bad hair thing and all. Very disingenuous. Stevens was there for the citizens of AK....the biggest welfare state in the US of A, and contrary to popular believe that bridge was needed for Alaska's growth...as much as Sarah might say it wasn't.

Lieberman is a toolbox...that is a given. I often wondered why the heck they elected him again. KD had a good point that he's independent and speaks for the citizens of Connecticut...but, why doesn't he just change parties? It would make sense seeing as the Republican Party has few moderate voices left. Either way fact remains is that the quiet now in Iraq could explode again...wouldn't hurt to have a hawk like Lieberman working for a solution...instead of being run over by the dems new found power.
