I'd disagree with that, but to each his own I guess.
I'd rather stay in the Big East which is much more wide open then the SEC, which provides an easier path to get conference championships/recruits. Plus, it still is a BCS conference for the winner.
Miami's program has gone down the toilet in the Coker years, and their facilities are horrible. I don't think it'd be unexpected for Miami to lose out on recruiting to FSU/Florida for the next few years.
I'd rather stay at the schools where I've already built something and in a conference that is easier to compete in if I'm vying for a big payday, and I'd be looking for a few jobs that are probably opening in the next couple of years, like Penn State and Florida State.
If I was Schiano I'd be positioning myself for that PSU job once Joe Pa retires.
