  1. So, if it is not a problem, then why does it hurt his image?
  2. Sweed's best move is overpowering CBs at the line of scrimmage, which he consistently excelled at. He also does a good job using his body and his stiff arm to get separation from coverage.
  3. So, why is doing a beer bong at your home a problem?
  4. No wonder why you're coaching on Tuesdays.
  5. ? Thats what they look like...
  6. Fitna's argument is that the religion is causing terrorism.
  7. Yes, over the long term. It determines what, exactly, you are trying to fight. Short term you aren't going to change anyone who is already a terrorist away from being one. But, for the long term, are you fighting a religion (as many people seem to believe we should be), or are you fighting something else?
  8. Which is a result of the religion itself, or are there other factors involved?
  9. Funny, I didn't know I was attacking Christianity, but pointing out that it is in the way that you use religion that is what matters.
  10. They didn't have video cameras back in the middle ages. And, in the US, Christian terrorism today doesn't rely on cutting off heads, but rather on the use of newer technology, like when Army of God uses bombs, or anthrax, or guns, or when Timothy McVeigh did the Oklahoma City bombing and identified himself as a member of the Christian Patriots. Of course, groups like the Lord's Resistance Army still do the type of thing you are talking about. There is even known jewish terrorism. It shouldn't be a surprise that this exists.
  11. My favorite wine is Evolution.
  12. He was just talking about changing an extension, it didn't actually become an excel file, the OS simply tried to open it in excel. The same would happen on a PC.
  13. Theres a difference between buying and stealing...
  14. I love his 30 minute CC standup special! Thought he was hilarious on Mad TV as well, back when it was good.
  15. I'm so shocked that you're going to continue believing what you want to believe. SHOCKED. No, the criticism means he just isn't funny, and lots of his material is lacking humorous punch lines. His "jokes" seem to be more his antics than his material. I suppose this is why Carlos Mencia gets a lot of flak for stealing jokes too, while other successful comedians (Seinfeld, Rock, Murphy, Cosby, Carlin, Dangerfield, Regan, Pryor, Martin, Hedberg, Chappelle, Williams, Foxworthy, etc) don't?
  16. I guess I must have a "remarkable memory" then, to remember something that I read. I guess you don't remember reading blog posts/news stories/etc 6 months after you read them? I read the posts on the internets about it (and that blog) when the topic has come up on other forums. I watched the youtube videos, and the ytmnd. Yet I'm not supposed to remember any of that? So, if in 6 months I ask you about the Dane Cook thread, you won't remember it? Which, as I pointed out, I dislike him because he doesn't actually tell any jokes. Funny, really, seeing as how you said: and I'm providing evidence to the contrary (he takes crap because he steals jokes and acts like an ass).
  17. Which works *sometimes*, when it is not reading from the Metadata of the file over the filename. I have had plenty of experiences on Mac OS X when changing the extension does NOT change how the OS views the file.
  18. I would have thought that you would have learned that saying false things over and over doesn't make them true. Its funny how you slam Molson for the whole Fox News bit, then do this. Exact same thing.
  19. You made him out to be a better person than most comics. I was simply pointing out that he's no better or worse a person than other comics, and that he isn't all hunky dory. Ah, gonna take a page out of Molson's playbook, eh? Nice Here's the facts: 1.) I knew about all of these incidents from this blog post, though my sense of time (6 months vs a year) was off. 2.) I also knew about the joke stealing from http://danecookisahack.ytmnd.com/ 3.) I also knew about the joke stealing from http://youtube.com/watch?v=kwCiyR4-YLc 4.) I also knew about the joke stealing from http://youtube.com/watch?v=pZ_710y4vR4 5.) I also knew about the joke stealing from http://youtube.com/watch?v=DwziusD9hvU 6.) others that I don't need to link, since I proved my point.
  20. Windows users are likely to think that by renaming the file extension, you are changing what Mac OS X thinks is the file type, and what program it will open in, which is not the case. This is also the reason why the mechanics behind the scene are extremely important. Does Mac OS X "understand" them? Depends on your definition of "understand". Yes, it can determine what file extension a file has, but it does not listen to them, and changing it in most cases will not change the OS' behavior.
  21. Yes, back in 2001 Apple mandated that file name extensions became mandatory. However, it still gives preferential treatment to file type metadata. From my interaction with it, Apple's Application Binding first looks at file type metadata, and THEN at file extensions, making file extensions all but useless.
  22. Lewis CK isn't 10% of Cook? Oh boy, judging someone as whether they are "miserable" or not, and then throwing out insults for absolutely no reason. Good stuff. I'm not saying either, just that he's not the angel you make him out to be.
  23. I knew the stuff from a year or so ago, when I was reading a blog about Cook and the incident. Go check out the Youtube videos comparing Cook to CK, Rogan, and others.
  24. Oh yeah, that Yuk-Yuk incident really makes him "not a miserable human being", or his stealing jokes from Louis CK, Demetri Martin, and Joe Rogan.
