  1. Listen genius, you're the one that said pot wasn't "ok" right here: "I love the whole "Marijuana isn't as bad as other drugs, so let's just continue with screwed up policies" argument. As if not being as bad somehow makes it ok." Yes, because the government always does whats right, just, and logical. Repeating your "point" doesn't make it better, nor does it make the law sane.
  2. You have yet to prove that marijuana use is somehow morally wrong, which is a prerequisite for that comment.
  3. I'm shocked that you couldn't actually refute it.
  4. I love the whole "this isn't as impactful as other issues, so lets just continue with screwed up policies" argument. As if it not being as big of a waste as the Iraq war somehow makes it okay.
  5. Nope, you said it yourself right here: Making drugs legal = "lowering our standards"; ergo, someone who is a drug user is morally below people that are not drug users, as they hold themselves to less of a standard.
  6. And here's where we get to the real issue, your belief that drug users are somehow less moral than other people.
  7. Hint: Bolded statement is one that I would argue is futile. lol @ you building a strawman by trying to claim what I said was a strawman. lol @ you not realizing we need budget cuts all around the board to even have some semblance of a balanced budget lol @ you not realizing these budget cuts need to come from everywhere, and will add up to the total amount that we need lol @ you not realizing that 6-9 billion dollars a year will help lol @ you not realizing this was what I meant
  8. Might want to read threads before posting. (and lol @ the notion that cutting spending by 6-9 billion dollars a year isn't a worthy goal)
  9. Depends on who they are. Sittin down and drinking one of these can be better.
  10. I WOULD RATHER HAVE A BEER WITH BUSH LOL
  11. Come on down to Austin and we'll show ya how its done.
  12. Yes, actually. When you stand up straight, its much easier to get full breaths, yell, jump up and down on the bleachers to make noise, etc.
  13. Welp, looks like this is the year the casual fan ruins the NFL. These people really need to attend a college football game sometime.
  14. Here is where we both show that IANAL. However, I think it'd be possible to make the purchase of it legal, but the distribution point illegal (supplying it is illegal, using it and buying small quantities is not). Just Marijuana alone would save the country billions, and would be a good step to take. I also wouldn't oppose the legalization of shrooms or ecstasy either.
  15. I was like, Lisa Lampanelli died?
  16. lol... what an ignorant statement. Only 11 presidents haven't have some kind of military experience. So, "historically", the only possible good presidents in the history of the country were: - Clinton - FDR - Hoover - Coolidge - Harding - Wilson - Taft - Cleveland - Van Buren - Adams - Adams
  17. What, you don't like the Daily Heil?
  18. Totally comparable since we have no idea if JP Morgan Chase hired that company or not.
  19. Interview with GQ Definitely making me reconsider my stance on not voting for him. Great interview.
  20. You've built a straw man argument: ending the war on drugs doesn't necessitate making drugs legal. Ending the "War on Drugs" could be as simple as decriminalizing the possession and private use of small amounts of drugs. Such an act alone would save the US billions.
  21. I said instead of simply everyone who has it. If you're not stoned and run someone off the road, and you have a gram of weed on you, you'll be prosecuted for both. It is trivially easy to obtain marijuana. Anyone who has a desire to do so is already smoking it. The War on Drugs has done NOTHING to discourage the use of the drug. Nothing. Its a waste of time and money, only serving to make government larger. You think its hard to spot people who are stoned?
  22. How bout prosecuting the people who make it a crime with victims instead of simply everyone who uses them?
  23. Because you can recognize that there are better ways of dealing with it then spending 50-60 billion dollars a year on an initiative that has completely and utterly failed by any measure.
